Do not use: Company provided wrong cabinets to us and refused to include the glass panels with 7 upper level glass panel door cabinets and failed to disclose. Through our contractor Triumph Construction we purchased an entire new kitchen cabinet set from innovation. We had repeated problems with sales consultant Brent Houghtaling who kept getting wrong measurements in the computer cabinet design plan despite our written numbers and measurements provided to him (through email documentation) his plans kept coming back wrong several times. We also ordered Coastal Cream cabinets and ended up receiving the Simply White cabinet design instead. Additionally for our 7 upper cupboards that are supposed to have glass panels in the doors, but Innovation refused to include the glass panels with the cabinet doors. Kind of like selling you a car without windows as all other competitors supply the glass and they did not disclose this information to us until after installation. Additionally they did not disclose that the length of their cabinet drawers is 17 inches instead of the standard 20+ inches as seen in IKEA cabinets which was another non disclosed factor. The upper cabinets were also only 11 inches deep instead of the standard 15 inches deep as seen in IKEA cabinets which again was not disclosed or communicated.

Jon listened to what we wanted, made recommendations to enhance, the amount charged was what they quoted us, the work was well done and it was ON TIME. What more do you want? Would definately use this company for our next project.

We are very pleased with our new kitchen. The Innovation cabinets are of good quality and look very nice, as does the granite countertop. The photos don’t do them justice. When we first went to the Innovation showroom in St. Pete, we had just started a major remodel which included tearing down and moving walls and weren’t sure how to layout our kitchen. Jim helped us layout our cabinets on his computer, and printed out three-D drawings that showed us how the kitchen would look various ways to help us decide which layout we wanted. Being cautious, we got quotes from three companies and chose Innovation for three reasons. First, because Jim Main was very honest, helpful, and friendly. Second, the cabinets were of good quality and at a good price. Third, because Innovation had only a one week lead time to get us our cabinets – giving us additional time to plan. The cabinets arrived on time and had been very carefully packaged. I hadn’t noticed that the corner cabinet opened to the left in the showroom, and wanted it to open to the right. Even though he had no obligation to do so, Jim sent someone out to change it right away. My husband and his friend installed the cabinets, with some advice from Jim, and everything went smoothly. I went down to the granite warehouse with Jim and he let me choose my granite countertop and my stainless sink. A few days later, Innovation sent someone out to install the countertop and the sink. They were very professional and did an excellent job. I have received many compliments on my beautiful cabinets and my “10,000 year old” countertop. I highly recommend Jim Main and Innovation.

They were great. They were finished in like a week and a half. They had the cabinets installed in a weekend. Everything fit perfectly.

I went to their showroom and picked out the cabinets that we wanted. They had to come back and fix a few things, but overall they did a good job.

We have a big issue. They did not ask when the house was built, which was the mid-70s. They let her pick the biggest sink and we can not have a garbage disposal without replacing the sink. Otherwise they were pretty good. A professional repair person installed the cabinets for us. My mother was happy with the work. The salesperson, Tonya, was very good. The quality of the cabinets is decent. They are middle of the road. They did not ask some questions regarding a wheelchair accessibility ramp that should have been asked.

Never heard from them.

We are looking for new cabinets and counter tops for the kitchen. After going to Lowe's and Home Depot, we wanted to give a local company a chance. Their price for cabinets was higher than both the other stores by quite a bit and the granite was $1000 higher for the same thing. The other stores were also giving away soft close drawers in addition to the lower price. This company is very professional and quick with their quote. When we walked in, the quote for the work was in my hands within ten minutes. On the showroom floor, the first cabinet drawer we opened was broken and had been repaired. It was obvious that it was damaged. The showroom was very nice and had many design sets. This company only offers a limited number of cabinet choices and nothing is special ordered. They have a warehouse a few miles away that houses their products and what ever they have there is what you have to choose from for your cabinets. For us, it would have been plenty of selection, and we would choose this company, but their price was too high. The only unprofessional aspect of my experience there was the employees that appeared to be installers were falling asleep on the showroom floor while we were walking around. Regardless, I would recommend giving this company a chance at winning your business. I only wish their price was lower because they seemed to really know their products and are a local company.

I did a total Kitchen Remodel. They gutted my whole kitchen and removed a wall to open up to the living area. The whole process took less than 3 weeks. The gutting and most of the electrical was done on the first day. The second day all the drywalls were in already. The 3nd day they layed the floor tile throughout the kitchen, living room, dining room and bathroom. It took about 2-3 days to complete. The cabinets were installed on day 8 and took about 2 days. We had to wait a couple of extra days for the granite because it was raining and apparently it is a safty issue to install when it is wet. I was mostly impressed with Master Performance Builder, LLc George Baker who was the General Contractor. He and his grew cleaned up every night before they left and the communication with him was very impressive. Anytime I had a request or did not like something he fixed it either right away or the next day. George made this process very smooth and enjoyable. Totally would recommend him to do any remodel work. I just handed him a garage door opener and he let everybody in who needed to be there, which was great so I did not have to take any time off from work. My sales person for the cabinets and granite was Don Jones. In my opinion, overall he is a good person but he did not communicate so well with me. It was very hard to get a hold of him since he seemed very busy. My recommendation would be to make sure you know exactly what you want and don't make any changes. That said, the most important part was that everything was done on time. My Kitchen looks beautiful and I am very happy with everything.

Bryan McHugh, the contractor who helped us with some big pieces of our bathroom renovation and whom we had contracted to do some pieces of our kitchen renovation (raising ceilings, removing old two-layer tiles) recommended Don and Innovation Kitchens. Don got in touch with us immediately, came over to our house to take measurements, discussed our needs, and then designed a proposed plan for the new kitchen with their cabinets and countertops. I went down to their store to select the cabinets (they use about 8 different styles and you're restricted to those- but we loved the options and this apparently helps them keep costs way down). I also chose the granite in the store. Don was wonderful to deal with- incredibly responsive, very nice, helpful with great ideas, good with last-minute changes. Once we made all of the selections, Don came back out for final measurements, then their team came in within two weeks and installed the entire kitchen in a 2-day period! This included their granite people coming over on the first day once the base cabinets were in so that they could do final measurements for the granite. They installed the granite on day 2 and finished up all of the cabinets. We were astonished at the speed and good quality of the cabinets for such a great price and I was thrilled with our selection. We needed to remodel the kitchen quickly in order to put our house on the market due to a corporate relocation. Innovation really understood the urgency and worked with us to meet our deadlines. The house sold in less than a week- definitely not what we expected in this market! Nearly every person who viewed the home specifically commented on how beautiful the kitchen was.

Stopped in the store and looked at the demo kitchens they have. I explained that I had not been out shopping for a kitchen makeover but was forced into it due to water damage to my lower cabinets, so didn't really know what I was looking for. Jimmy was very helpful but not pushy. We went over the different styles of cabinets/the wood, etc. and arranged to have him come out on Saturday to measure. (This was great because getting off work can be hard). At that point, I didn't have a clue what I wanted. I popped in again to look at the kitchens and decided on the Shaker style with granite countertop. When I went to the granite warehouse to choose my slab, Jimmy even brought a sample of the wood from the cabinets and met me there in case I needed help in selecting the granite. On the appointed day, the installers came and at this point, they noticed a very slight error in one of the measurements - turned out not to be a big deal - one call to the store and a bigger cabinet was delivered in an hour's time. I was thrilled to have more space than I thought. Anyway, the installation went smoothly. On Friday, the granite man came to measure and I was totally amazed when the granite was installed that same afternoon! My kitchen is beautiful and it was a good experience from start to finish.

They did an excellent job from start to finish, everybody was a pleasure to deal with and the project was completed when they said it would be for a decent price. I would certainly use this company again.

Tara was helpful and made sure we got what we wanted. I received other estimates and they were the least expensive, started the job about 1 week after we decided to go forward. Completed the job in 5 days from tear out to install of cabinets and counter tops.

About 5 months ago we obtained estimates for refacing and replacement of the cabinets and countertop. Refacing estimate was $11,000 and replacement estimate was $15,000 and $19,000. We decided at that time it was too expensive. 2 months ago we were referred to John Huang. After two or three meeting we chose the cabinets and a granite countertop. The work was completed a few weeks ago. My wife and I were astounded that the job was complete in only four days. John was always available when we needed him. The kitchen looks better than we would ever expect.
