I had a great experience with Jerry and his crew. They completed the work timely, as promised, and removed all debris. Jerry followed up with a satisfaction call the following day.

I was very impressed by the work the crew did and that Jerry called as soon as the crew left to see if I was satisfied with the job done.

Jerry gave me what I considered to be a fair price for the trimming of several trees and removal of several trees, along with the stump grinding of the same. The team that came out was very professional and I was completely satisfied with the work.

It went great. Jerry is like an Ent from the Lord of the Rings. The guy knows trees and gives great advice. We were very pleased with the work that was done. They cleaned up more mess than they actually made. I'm an extremely satisfied customer.

This is my first home purchase so I had a lot of questions. Jerry was very prompt in scheduling the estimate and was very helpful in describing the work that needs to be done. He even took time to point out several potentially beautiful trees that were overshadowed by overgrown tress. His estimate included trimming several very large trees, removing old vines that were allowed to grow wild for years (perhaps decades) cutting down about 4 small trees and 1 larger tree and mulching all of the refuse. Based on what I've seen in reviews from other Angie's List customers for this and other tree services it seems that his estimate was fair even if it was a quite a bit out of my budget. Although it may take me a few months to be able find a way to afford having the work done I'm certain that I'll call on Independent Tree Service to do the work as soon as I possibly can.

Jerry did a great job in trimming/shaping the trees. He was on schedule and the clean up was so efficient you wouldn't guess all that work was done! Also, he made a follow up call which I really appreciated.

Excellent. The employees arrived when scheduled and did the work as requested in the time they said it would take. The company management called several days after to check on the job and our satisfaction. Additionally, a hinge on a large chain-link gate which gave access to the back yard did not work properly after their visit, and upon our request, they sent people to repair it.

They did a very good job. Good work. Owner very courteous and helpful.

Showed up on day promised, and followed up with a phone call the day after to make sure everything was done to expectation. They even returned within a few days to take care of few other things. Very professional, and on time. Good customer service, Thanks !

The estimate seemed high but one can tell that Jerry knows trees. Looking back we think that this company or another one from Angie's List would have been the best to do the work...because we went ahead with a much less estimate from a ''non-Angie's List'' firm, but one recommended by a friend.......and we are sorry we didn't stick with this company or another good one. Jerry knows his business.

Jerry's crew did a excellent job. They left the area clean after they finished the work.

Jerry is very personable and informative. He answered all my many questions when he visited before the job was done. He is an arborist and knows what he is doing. His team was prompt, courteous, and absolutely informed me every step of the way what they were doing. They cleaned the entire yard of all the debris, swept the driveway/sidewalks, and raked. Jerry called afterward to determine if we were satisfied. We feel confident approaching the hurricane season this year with the cleanup of our many oak trees. We probably could have gotten the job done "cheaper", but feel certain our tree work was performed correctly...with the life of our trees in mind.

Jerry contacted me within an hour of my original call. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. He explained exactly what fungus killed my tree and what caused it. Without even seeing my tree he described it to a ''T''. He stated that the size of the tree was cost prohibitive for him to remove because of it's small size. I sincerely appreciated his honesty in not taking me for a ride. All in all Jerry spent a good 20 minutes with me on the phone not as only a tree trimming professional but as an educated arborist. I would not hesitate to use him for any of my future tree needs.

They know what to cut and what to leave, and they leave the job site very clean. I would use this company again, and would definitely recommend them.

Jerry and his team were great. I liked the fact that he was easy to reach by phone, and always returned my calls quickly. Jerry is extremely knowledgeable about the different trees, best ways to trim and just generally very helpful. He had a large team, and they were very professional. They up on time and completed the work professionally. His estimate was extremely reasonable compared to others I received. His schedule was pretty packed, but he found a way to fit us in. I would definitely use this company again. And HIGHLY recommend them.

I called Mr. Upcavage to have him come out and give me an estimate. He came within 10 minutes because he happen to be only a few blocks away. He was very friendly and professional. His estimate came in at $695. Mr. Upcavage explained he was very busy and could not come out to do the job until the end of June (a month away). I decided to ask my neighbor who recently trimmed his trees. I called my neighbors person and they gave me an estimate of $300 to do the same thing. My neighbors person did a fine job and I saved myself $395!

Jerry and his crew were very professional and hard-working. We feel much more confident that hurricane season will result in a lot less damage from old tree limbs.Especially since the trees were thinned out and should be able to allow the wind to blow through them instead of blowing them over.

Jerry and his crew were very professional throughout the estimate, trimming, and cleanup. Jerry even followed up with a phone call later to make sure I was happy with the work that was done. I was very happy with the work and cleanup, and they showed why they have such a high Angie's List rating.

The work was done in a very professional manner. A large crew showed up, worked quickly, and cleaned up all the debris. They even cleared extra smaller trees that needed to be cleared but they weren't in the contracted price. I highly recommend them. I know at least 5 of my neighbors have also used them and were satisfied.

Jerry arrived with his crew so that there would be no concerns over what we agreed needed to be done. His crew of four did everything agreed upon and did an excellent clean-up afterwards. Each member of the crew knew his task and needed a minimum of supervision.
