Called and received return call within two days. Made appointment, crew arrived within appointment time, completed work and left site in good condition. Crew arrived at later appointment time and grind the stump as contracted. Everyone was very professional.

Work was done as promised; courteous workers; cleaned up after service.

A $50.00 permit was needed from the City of Tampa, and City staff came by to inspect the tree needing removal for approval; all was handled by Independent Tree Service. They arrived at noon and worked continuously until finishing the job at 3pm (4 staff). They were able to bring in a boom truck to the back alley and maneuvered around power lines, other tree branches and over my back fence line to get access to my tree in the back yard. Took care not to damage other parts of the yard and cleaned up very well. All limbs were mulched and another truck came to haul away the larger sections.

Excellent. Jerry made a very timely return call to my initial inquiry and soon thereafter came by at the appointed time for an estimate. Once the job was contracted, Jerry's crew was precisely on time, respectful and careful with the trees and our property, and made minimal commotion and noise. They did a fine job cutting and trimming the trees just as requested and agreed and fully cleaned the property afterward. A day or two later Jerry made a follow-up call to inquire as to my satisfaction. In all, this company is very professional, respectful and responsive. Their pricing is also quite fair and very competitive relative to other tree services. I would highly recommend this company.

These guys were experts. The trees were in a precarious position between our house and the neighbor's fence--a space only 9' wide. The trees were removed without damage to either our home or the neighbor's fence. Somehow they used one tree tied to another tree to make sure the severed trunks came down safely and vertically. They cleaned up very well after they were done. We had a little wait (of 1 week) before the stump grinder was able to remove the stumps, but there had been so much rain and I'm sure that's what held him up. Mr. Upcavage told us not to pay him until everything had been done and we were happy. WE ARE VERY HAPPY!!

Took 3rd. try for appointment to have estimate done. Took 2nd. appointment before coming to do the job. (Truck had broken down previous day.) 3 Men came out about 9am. Trimmed trees really well, left no traces of having been in the back yard by cleaning up exceptionally well!!! Job was completed around 2am. I came home to a brighter back yard and a roof that no longer had branches kissing it. I received a follow up phone call to ask if everything was satisfactory,which it was.

The overall experience was excellent. Jerry provided a fair estimate for the service and also offered relevant advise on tree care. He patiently listened to all my questions and provided specific answers based on his experience as a certified arborist. His crew arrived on time and performed all the services requested. The trees look great. And they cleaned all the debris and were careful not to trample the bushes. I will certainly call Independent Tree Service for future needs.

It went pretty well. They came one morning with a entire team. I was very amazing by how quick they were. They took down about half of one of the trees in about a hour. They took the stump removed and that took a little long. So they came back a few times.

We desperately needed all the trees on our property trimmed and lifted prior to hurricane season. In addition to the trimming, we also needed a tree removed from our front lawn. After reviewing Angie's List I decided to give Independent Tree Service a call. Jerry scheduled a time to meet at my house to discuss my needs and provide an estimate. He was very professional and arrived on-time. When Jerry's team arrived to do the work they too were on-time and extremely professional. The trees look terrific and our property looks so much cleaner. I've recommend this company to all my friends and neighbors!!

I can not tell you how impressed we were with the tree service. The crew arrived on time and were very professional and knowledgeable. After they inspected the trees they had some additional recommendations to make. Instead of just going ahead and cutting Jerry, the owner, came to the house and discussed with my husband what they would do exactly. They did an exceptional job with the tree limbs that were infiltrating our neighbors yard. After everything was done the trees are gorgeous!!! I just wish we would have used them years earlier.

Called and advised that needed 5 trees trimmed and they came out that day and provided an estimate for $350.00 to do all the trees I requested. They advised that they would do the work the following Monday and when I got home the work was done and they did a great job. I also had some yard debris and asked if they would take that and they did. I will use them again.

The crew arrived promptly, we walked around the property again to review work. The guys were very nice & polite also. The work took all day. They had impressive trucks & equipment! Jerry came by to see how things were going. He made some helpful suggestions to my questions. The work was done very well & they cleaned up everything. They made sure I was happy with the job.

When I called Jerry he was very quick at responding. He came out the same day with an estimate and was able to start work within a couple of days. The workers were polite and worked hard in the heat. They cleaned up afterwards and blew the debris from the driveway. This was on a Friday, first thing Monday morning Jerry did a follow up call to be sure I was satisfied. Great job!!!!

He applied for the county permit for me and when it was approved faxed a copy of the permit to my homeowner's association for their approval. After HOA approved the removal they came out the next morning and had this 25 ft. oak cut down and ground. It took them an hour. That afternoon the stump grinder man came out and ground the stump and surface roots. Both crews swept up and left the area as clean as they found it. The permit cost $45 and the stump removal grinding, etc. cost $500 less the $25 Angie's List coupon. I was amazed it was so cheap. They brought out a truck with a limb grinder and another with a pincher like attachment to pick up the trunk and heavy pieces to haul away. In the afternoon the man brought the riding stump grinder on the back of his truck. Jerry knows what he's doing.
