The men arrived early, did a great job & were done in about an hour.

All the guys were on time, friendly, & gave professional advice when asked. Walked through with me before & after job. Worked in rain & cleaned up too.

Our overall experience with Jerry and his crew were phenomenal! He has such an awesome crew! They are very hardworking, professional and polite guys! They arrived as scheduled. Although the weather wasn't the greatest, they began their job and didn't quit until it was completed! after their job was completed, the next day all off the debris was removed and m;y driveway and areas in front of my house was blowned and cleaned spotless. When my trees need trimming again, they are the only company will call.

Jerry Upcavace of Independent Tree Service arrived on time, did a thorough assessment of the trees on our walk through and proposed price for a detailed contract. His team arrived on time and did a professional job including clean up and reported damage to our outdoor pole lamp. Very professional in all respects and very well supervised.

A week later, we got the good news from Jerry that Tampa had issued the permit and he had scheduled the tree removal for a few weeks llater. His crew arrived right on time and got started. They were very professional and clearly knew their profession. It only took them about six hours to completely remove the tree down to the trunk. Amazingly they were able to get the job done without any damage to the other plants in our front yard. We were pleased with their work as well as the stump grinder who arrived the next day to finish the work. It was a very positive experience with everything performed well and exceeded expectations.

Jerry and his son were very knowledgeable and professional. They arrived on time and did an excellent job. We were concerned about several large branches overhanging our roof and they were able to remove them safely without any damage to our home. I would definitely use them again.

I called Independent Tree Service on June 27th when I came home and found my huge oak tree in my backyard had uprooted after a storm and had fallen partially on my house, my fence and in my yard. Jerry and his crew responded quickly and removed the part of the tree that was on my house to make it safe. They had to come back later to finish the job as some of the tree was in my neighbors yard and they had to wait until the neighbor cleaned up their part of the tree. they had to come through my neighbors yard to get the rest of the tree out of my yard. The crew was very professional and nice. They also work very safe which is important! THANK YOU for a great job! Fred

Response was prompt and service excellent. The tree trimming was done in a professional manner with thought given to aesthetics. The work was done quickly and the yard left clean with all trimmings cleaned up and taken away. Limbs were lifted for the homes to allow filtered sunlight and still maintain the canopy of the trees. All around great job!

Chipper malfunctioned but they returned next morning to handle remaining limbs.

Excellent work with professional crew and high end equipment I.e. skycap to access all parts of tree. Cleaned up mess with the exception of stump grinds which are left on site. Jerry helped me with the necessary permits and demonstrated depth of knowledge of a certified arborist. He helped me understand exactly what trees were doing underground near driveway and sidewalks and house.

Love these guys. Most tree service companies, in my experience, tend to be rather flimsy operations: "I'm in your neighborhood today. While I'm here, why don't we trim this and that. Oh, does $2500 seem steep? How about $1500? Okay I'll do it for $750 since my crew is already here." There was none of that with Independent. They raise the bar in all aspects of their work, establishing a refreshing level of professionalism. My entire experience with them was marked by courtesy, expertise, and uncommon consistency. We were given a reasonable written estimate. They remained in contact before, during, and after the work to make sure I was happy, and indeed I was . . . We requested a few trees trimmed, large bushes and small trees removed, and general pruning done throughout our property. I was very pleased with the appearance when I returned home. The trimming was tastefully completed to make our house look more inviting. Most remarkably, there were no complaints from my wife, who if it were only up to her, would let things sprawl as naturally as they pleased! Even she thought our yard looked better. Jerry is awesome. Very nice, professional, knowledgable, and easy to work with. I highly recommend them and plan to use them again in the near future.

Jerry returned my call for an estimate in 15 minutes. Came out the next day for an estimate. He gave me some pointers on how to treat an invasive vine in addition to the estimate. We scheduled the work for the following week & they did a great job cleaning up after themselves & removing a few dead palm frawns from my other tree just because I asked! Jerry even came out do inspect the stump removal because I was concerned it might interfere with new trees being planted. He was confident in the work & he was right. The tree installation I had done by another firm went perfectly!

The crew was very professional and only stopped work for water break or when I interrupted. Super clean-up when finished.

The company gave a reasonable estimate and did not try to "oversell" (we have lots of other trees) and did a good clean job of removal. Very courteous.

They did very well. I just wish the stumps were lower, but I didn’t pay the stump removal.
