Service was excellent. A sign of the level of service began when the team arrived.....it was our trash collection day and our neighbor's trash had some styrofoam peanuts spilled on the street. One of the team members took it upon himself to collect the spilled peanuts and put them back into their garbage can. The team leader, Austin, was outstanding and the work went extremely well.

They did a great job for a reasonable price.

I have used Independent Tree Service for many years. Their crew members always do a top notch job. They leave your property cleaner than when they arrived. Crew Foreman Chris Kidd was very knowledgeable and kept me informed during the tree removal. Great Job!

Jordan came out for the estimate on time. Definitely knew what he was talking about and made suggestions as to what he would like to do. Noticed the palms had a disease and that they likely would need to be removed in the future. The tree trimmers came out as scheduled and did a fantastic job, nobody stopped working other than lunch and did a great job cleaning up...even blew the leaves off the driveway! Highly recommended!

The crew was very professional. They were polite and treated me as if I have a brain! When they were done the crew chief took me around the yard to show that they completed the work and cleaned up the debris. They even cleared debris the county workers left when they "trimmed" my podocarpus on one side of my driveway. Their pickup crew did a good job of picking up all the trimmings. Not the cheapest quote but worth it!

Independent Tree Service did an exceptional job for us. We have two oak trees and an orchid tree in the front, and an elm in our backyard. All the trees were in dire need of a pruning. I came to Angie's List, submitted a request and immediately had 4-5 vendors. Three provided quotes and I opted to go with Independent Tree Service. Jerry provided a very competitive bid, the work was done on time, the workers were very professional and they cleaned up everything. I strongly recommend Independent Tree Service. A great group that does a great job. Excellent!

They did an excellent job. Trimmed all the branches I needed removed, and did an excellent job of clean-up. Austin is a great Crew Foreman and would request him for my future needs.

Work was done by three men - Chris, Bobby, Michael. They were professional and worked efficiently as a team to trim a very large tree. They cleaned up all debris -- lots of branches with leaves and some limbs -- all had to be fed into shredder. They then raked up lawn and blew off sidewalk/street. Place looked perfect. We recommend this company!!

Jerry and Jordan have been maintaining our 100 year old Grand Oaks as well as all our palms on our property for over 20 years. They are the best in the business. They love our trees like we do. All their staff are so professional. Chris, the foreman today, did an amazing job!!

VERY well. I've used these folks before. It is a treat doing business with them. The folks are intelligent, courteous, and experts at what they do. Jerry Upcavage came out to scope the job and give me an estimate, and Chris Kidd did the work. Everything was done expertly, on schedule. There are a lot of folks out there who trim trees and do this kind of work. But, when you need "skilled labor" Independent Tree Service is the company to call.

Curtis's four-man highly-skilled team were highly-efficient, courteous, and thorough in trimming and continual disposal (shredding). They even provided free wood chips to a neighbor. Each team member provided 100% effort. State of the art equipment, (two cranes/buckets; shredder; power tools). Arrived on time and continued to keep us informed of what was happening. Made suggestions as they saw other areas for improvement. Jordan called from the Tampa office for a follow-up evaluation. The company was recommended by a neighbor, and we have already recommended their services. Will hire again.

Independent has certified arborists. They are true professionals. They provide a proposal and schedule a date. They perform on time and for the proposed price. Work is well done, professional job. They haul away the debris. They are not the cheapest in the market, but they are the best.

Independent Tree Service is thoroughly professional, from the first telephone call to the completion of the job. The estimator was knowledgeable and helpful. The three-man crew that came with Calvin kept us well informed what they were doing, what they could do, and what couldn't be done. We'll be happy to used them again for major tree work. They were also congenial and good natured in their interaction with us.

This is my second time using Independent Tree Service. The first time was right after Hurricane Irma when a 100 foot oak tree feel on my house. Jordan (the owner), has been great to work with and his staff is top notch too. I highly recommend Independent Tree Service!

We have used Independent for years. They are always professional- from answering the phone, scheduling appointments and doing the work. They are knowledgeable arborists and work with us to keep our trees healthy. The workers are polite, efficient and clean up nicely. We have never had a issue with the tree service-mainly deal with Jordon.

This huge and very old laurel oak was wedged in between our home and that of our neighbor’s, and there was very little street access to it and there were electric wires going through it. We hired Independent to do the removal because we knew that one small error could damage one or both of our homes. We knew from previous experience that they don’t make errors! As always, they did an A+ job which also included applying for the required permit, working with TECO, grinding down the massive root system, and hauling away every bit of debris. It was very upsetting to lose this grand oak, but it was a real comfort to have Independent Tree Service do the job. We highly recommend them!
