Jordan was amazingly responsive. Prior to the emergency, Jordan came on time for both bids. Once the work was scheduled, he came by one evening to mark the tree for the city inspectors. He is very friendly and knowlegable not just around the tree work, but also working with the city, TECO , insurance claims, etc. When the tree fell on a Friday and we were out of town, I left a message for Jordan. He called back Saturday on his personal time. He went to the house Sunday to check the damage. He even talked to my neighbors. He did all he could to get a crane and a crew to the house as soon as possible. Tuesday morning they showed up 30 minutes early. It took the team 5.5 hours to complete the job. Everyone was nice, polite and worked really hard. The crew did a wonderful job of cleaning up the debris, getting the yard back to looking halfway decent and they even tried to fix the grass in front that was damaged by the crane driving up the front lawn. Jordan worked directly with the electric company to coordinate taking down wires and then putting them back up later in the day. I didn't have to deal with any coordination efforts. Jordan did all of it for me. Overall I was very impressed. Jordan is very professional and really knows what he is doing. I still have a lot to do with the remaining portion of the tree which has to be taken down and trimming the other trees in the original bid. This involves a significant level of coordination with the city of Tampa and TECO. I am confident that Independent Tree Service will do an equally outstanding job in the future.

I was impressed with their knowledge of trees and ability to do the work so our trees look natural but cut back safely. I was happy with their follow-through and customer service (our initial service date had to be rescheduled but they called me to keep me updated).

This is the third time I have used Independent Tree Service and have recommended them to many of my neighbors who have been equally pleased. I called the day after a small microburst came into the neighborhood and split one of my huge citrus trees in half. The next day I called in late afternoon and Jordan was there the next day. I also asked him to check out what appeared to me to be another dying citrus tree. He came over the next day and called me (I was away that day) to tell me the "plan." Knowing me from prior work, we went ahead and surveyed my other trees to make sure they were high wind/tropical storm/hurricane ready. This was Thursday of this week. Today is Saturday and he and his crew came and took care of removing the two citrus trees and doing necessary trimming of some dead oak tree branches so they would not do any damage to house or property. Jordan has tremendous interpersonal skills and integrity. He is a certified arbor specialist and certainly knows about trees! This is not some fly by night group of guys who just hack trees. He has so educated me on what trimming was necessary and what was not needed. His goal is to always keep a tree sound and healthy. As in the prior two times every little twig was cleaned up and all debris hauled off. I can not speak highly enough of this company and Jordan Upcavage. He and his team don't just perform work - they are truly customer oriented and respectful of a customer's property. They look out for the safety of their employees and customers. Thanks to Jordan noticing a particular fungus that was attacking a Queen Palm the last time he came, he probably saved it from crashing into the corner of my house. I personally saw what it had done to the stump section below ground level so all it would have taken was a high wind and it would have fallen. I am forever grateful to Jordan for his thoroughness. So if you want your trees done correctly and promptly this is who to call.

Jerry was an absolute pleasure to work with. Highly responsive. Prompt with a quote, and worked with me on the quote amount and payment. The work was completed on time. Independent even moved me up on the schedule when an opening was there. Additionally, the crew was very careful to do their work without damaging cars in the parking area. Would recommend Jerry and Independent Tree without reservation.

It was a plesant experence to deal with. They returned my calls. They were on time. Their prices were reasonable for what work we needed done.

Overall fine. They needed to move the date but contacted us early and agreed to a new date. We paid for a full day, but they said they were done just after noon. They worked with us to complete what we thought needed to be done. No complaints.

The company returns phone calls and kept me informed. The crew was a little late but it was probably due to the rain. They were efficient and cleaned up the debris. I was pleased with the service and will call them again.

On time. Knowledgeable about trees - certified arborist work was done to our specifications. Workers were very polite. Pricey, but worth it to me to get quality, knowledgeable work done. I have used them many times over 20 years.

Independent Tree Services has trimmed my trees for many years. Jerry and Jordan are arborists and know what the individual trees need. Recently I had some white sap falling from an old oak. I was able to send a photo of the oak by text message and Jerry was able to diagnose the problem as a stress response to too much rain.

I interviewed over five tree service companies. Mr. Upcavage was the most informative and his prices were exceptional. A true arborist! I was also impressed with his employees professionalism.

Jordan Upcavage promptly provided an estimate and scheduled the work within days of the estimate. They were prompt and professional and did a perfect job. I would not hesitate to use their services in the future and would recommend them to friends and family.

The guys showed up during the time expected. Walked the tree to discuss what was previously agreed upon with Jerry at the first visit. Insured we knew what was going to be done, then they went to work cutting the main branches & woodchipping, etc. Everything went well, clean up was great on the ground, tree looks healthy & good (although my wife will be sad for a while as she loved having the tree that big, but it was a safety/etc hazard).

They opened up a very big oak tree in my front yard and cut parts and branches that were leaning and hanging over my house and a neighbors house. The following day they came back out, which was on Tuesday to grind up all of the branches because their chipper went down. They did a wonderful job and they were very clean, neat, and professional. I was very pleased with their services.

All work was performed as designed, on time and reasonably priced. Jordan is an expert and will work together with his customers.
