On time pleasant, professional & courteous – cleaned up after. Did an excellent job.

They arrived on time and reviewed the work to be done with me. Then they proceeded to do the work. Afterwards, they again reviewed the results with me to make sure I did not want them trimmed any further. They removed all cuttings and debris. I would recommend them and use them in the future.

Great! After getting the run around from other tree services, I called ITS. Gerry was prompt in providing an estimate and scheduling the work. The crew did an excellent job at a great price.

First of all I contacted Jerry, the owner like i do every year! We scheduled a date and time to have the above services done. He is always so professional and accommodating! His crew came out on time and began the work. His son, Jordan is so knowledgeable! When he came out, he gave me a great suggestion on doing my palms a little different than what i normally have done. I was so pleased with his suggestions! i now want them done exactly the same way next year! This company is absolutely fantastic! They are a pleasure to work with! They are extremely hard workers, professional and so polite! I will be contacting Jerry again next year!

Jordan, the owner, explained the health of my trees and the current maintenance required. He addressed our concerns as we love our trees but want them to be safe (not falling on us or the house), and strong. The crew was efficient and polite in every way. Perfect experience. P.S. I'm ashamed to admit to using unqualified people to the detriment of my trees & pocketbook. Always use a licensed Arborist. INDEPENDENT is the best!

This was a very difficult tree to remove. The tree was very tall estimated to be 30 ft and located very close to our pool cage. The team had to remove the tree in pieces including the palm fronds. Each tree section that was cut had to be tied and winched down to the ground. It was very time consuming and took a lot of skill not to damage anything. The team was very careful to protect adjacent trees as well. The workers then went on to trim additional palm trees on the property wth the same care. The debris in the yard was picked up and then raked. The tree sections were ground up and the street swept clean leaving the property better than when they arrived. We also received a call from the owner to insrue that their team had done the work to our satisfaction.

It went good, they were nice and did the job I wanted them to do.

The trimming and removal were done on time and to our satisfaction, but the company's truck damaged a concrete abutment at the end of the driveway. I called one of the owners a couple of days later and he came out immediately to scope out the damage. He promised to have an employee come repair it. I was given a date for the repair, but no one came. I called a second time and was told that the employee who was to come out had missed the appointment. The vice president apologized and rescheduled the repair. At that time I asked for an estimate on grinding of a stump from a small tree I had removed earlier. The company sent a man out. He removed that stump and another one without charge and hauled away a pile of palm fronds I'd accumulated in trimming another tree! This company came with the proper equipment, worked quickly and did an excellent job. I particularly appreciated the willingness to repair the concrete damage and to make amends for the missed appointment. I definitely would use Independent Tree Service again.

Great from start to finish. Independent Tree Services did exactly what they said would do, within the time frame they said it would be done, at the price they quoted and in the professional manner expected. They arrived at my house at about 8:30 in the morning on November 5 with a large mulching truck and four lumberjacks. Jeff was in charge and did a great job explaining what was going to happen and showing me how and what would be done. His many years of experience were obvious as he was very patient with me as I asked my questions and thorough with his answers. All of the men were clean, polite and professional both in appearance and manner. My neighbor had also contracted with them to trim a limb above her pool cage and take down two dead trees. This was done first, and without any issues. All the limbs that could be mulched were and the remaining logs were stacked neatly at the curb for pick up. The small debris was cleaned up and they moved over to my house where the work was completed as planned. Again, as the trees were cut, the limbs that fit into the mulcher were mulched and the bigger ones stacked neatly at the curb for later pick up and then the smaller debris was cleaned up. One of the dead tree's trunk was too big around to be cut with the saws they had that day so they had to come back to cut it to the ground. This task was completed the following Monday as promised. The thing is, and this is where Independent Tree Services really stands out, every dealing I have had with Jordon (Upcavage), his dad, Jerry, is the founder of the company, has been fantastic. Jordon always returns my calls, shows up when he says he will and follows up on all estimates and services. I am one of those tree loving people and I can't imagine trusting my trees to anyone else. I feel so very lucky to have found this company as Florida is full of people willing to cut your trees but not that many willing to help you keep them, and care for them, and enjoy them. As part of the service I am reviewing two eye hooks were to be placed in a very high limb of my favorite tree for a swing. The day they were here it could not be completed but when they came to cut down the bigger trunk they also finished hanging the swing even though they had to take repeated breaks because of rain. It is so rare to find a company that goes out of their way to make sure that their customers are not only satisfied but are truly happy. From my repeated dealings with Jordon it has become clear to me that he is completely invested in all aspects of this business: the family (I get the feeling this includes employees in that many of them seem to have worked there for quite some time), the customers and the trees. Since that swing was hung I have spent almost every evening enjoying great trees and sunsets and stars in the fine company of my teenage boys; something no ordinary tree company would have done/ been able to do for me and worth so much. It makes a tremendous difference.

The tree leaning over the cage was removed without damage to the cage. They could not climb in the tree to be cut because it was leaning so much. They used ropes from another tree to swing the branches safely away. Other tree was removed without damage to the trees around it. They were done in one morning. Excellent work.

He called to schedule an visit for an estimate. Provided a fairly detailed description of what he needed to do including getting the minimum clearance of neighbor's tree over my roof. Scheduled work to be done about two weeks after the estimate was completed. Would have liked for it to have been done a little sooner but that was fine. Crew arrived on the day scheduled, completed the work as described and left any invoice with my wife for the service. They were professional and efficient. Will call on them again.

Great communication. Work was performed quickly and professionally. Crew knew exactly the work that had been scoped. Worked around new landscaping with no damage. Excellent cleanup. Very satisfied and would highly recommend.

The process was easy. There was a slight problem but Mr. Upcavage quickly & professionally solved it.

Jerry's team were very professional on-site although we did feel a little hurried during the final walk through. Team showed up approx. 3:30 pm. Had to return to complete missed areas & final cleanup.

Independent Tree Service was on time and reasonably priced. Entire crew was courteous and dressed professionally. All was cleaned up and I would recommend them!

I called and the owner came out to do a review and give an estimate. He took his time talking to me about the trees and we were able to come up with an exact plan for trimming away from the house and doing general trimming of trees. I have 3 very large laurel oaks, 1 maple and 1 elm that needed heavy trimming away from the house. I wanted the trees to keep their shape but wanted the job to last without needing to be redone in short time. Once we came up with a plan, a date was set for the crew to come. The crew showed up on time and I was able to cover with them what needed to be done, but the great thing was that the notes they had from my meeting with owner were so good I really did not have to give them much of my own input. They set about working and with the amount of trimming the needed to do it took all day. They worked consistently all day and when done I went out to survey. The trees looked great. The clearance from the house was perfect and the shape of the tree was maintained. I have tons of landscaping, of which they worked around with little to no damage to any of my plants and shrubs. Their cleanup was excellent. The yard looked great. I was really worried about what it would all look like when done but I cannot be happier with the results. They are top on my list for any future tree service. I will recommend them to everyone.

Excellent. Terribly rainy day one guy slipped on roof, broke shingle, they sent roofer to fix. Patched in mean time. No issues fortunately the guy was ok.

Jordan is very conscientious and professional. He does a great job consulting on the best ways to approach a job, protect property and in the case of trimming, safeguard the health of trees and enhance their appearance.
