The owner and his team were professional, couteous, helpful and thorough--from start to finish. It's so good to have those trees cleared out. The oak was damaging our foundation, and the palmetto just started growing wild and in a really odd spot.

The three fellows arrived early in the morning and began working immediately. They were extremely careful that the branches of the oak did not fall onto our lanai screen. They worked all day in the heat to complete the job. When finished, they cleaned up so well that one wouldn't have known they had been there! Am very pleased with the crew, and the work and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of tree trimming, pruning..etc. Great job guys!

It was like clockwork, they spoke with us, gave us the game plan and promptly did the work cleanly & professionally.

At dawn, during an 11hr. thunderstorm of torrential rain, they removed a several-ton, 60ft. fallen oak tree from the roof/in the living room of my house, bringing/dispatching workmen, with saws, cranes, claws over many hours and cleaned up everything, mulching along the way. Stand up owner and family! Heroes in an emergency--they even put a tarp over the enormous caved-in roof/attic/ceiling.

I called Jerry and he came out the next day to give me an estimate. On the day that the service was provided his crew arrived on time. They trimmed two large live oaks, two elms, and 2 viburnum. They also removed a large diseased Queen Palm. They were professional and efficient. In addition they cleaned up as they went and left everything spotless. as a side note, they accidentally caused some very minor damage to the flagpole mounted on the house. The crew leader told me about it and showed me the damage. It was a small thing, but I appreciated the honesty. I highly recommend these folks, and I will use them again.

We've used Independent before and would not use any other company, This time we needed removal of a Jerusalem thorn tree that had been hit by lightning which sat on a berm in our backyard. We also had recently put in new sod, some of which was dying because of too much shade from a line of viburnum which had been trimmed into trees. We wanted to keep some shade because my husband keeps his hammock there. Jordan was honest in advising he wasn't at all certain thinning would do the trick but we decided it was worth a try. Jordan's plan was executed perfectly by the crew, Perfect work and perfect clean-up.

Personal were all courteous and well mannered. They worked for four hours in the Florida heat. They took breaks one at a time.

The work crew arrived on time on the day the work was scheduled and were very good about making sure they knew what all I needed done. The dead limb was removed and all the other limbs were trimmed perfectly. And they even used a leaf blower to clean up all the areas after they were done. Can't even tell they were there! A very professional job and I would definitely recommend them to others.

I had a large limb that had cracked near the base of my elm tree and I was fearful that it would fall on my house if we had any rain or a storm. A crew came out the very same day I called and removed the dead limb. I had other work that needed to be done and received an estimate of the cost and a date when they could complete the work. The crew was at my home early on the morning that had been scheduled. They were professional, courteous and thorough. I would highly recommend Independent Tree Service to anyone in the Tampa Bay area. I am a completely satisfied customer.

The crew arrived promptly. The crew leader walked the yard with me and confirmed what I had arranged to have done during the estimate visit. All work was done exactly as I requested. They cleaned up all the mess and even blew all the oak leaves and pollen off the roof and rain gutters. This was leaves and pollen were there before the tree trimming but they cleaned it up anyway which I really appreciated since I usually have to do it and it's my least favorite yard work activity. This is the second time I've used Independent Tree service and I will definitely use them again. They are excellent! The cost was only $100 more this time than it was in 2010 for the same work plus taking down the dead tree. That is a very small increase and our trees are even larger now. Independent Tree service is owned and operated by certified arborists. They really care about trees and want them to be properly pruned and cared for. They are not butchers like so many of the so-called tree services.

The team came on scheduled date and performed the agreed upon work. They did a great job! The next time my tress need any work, they'll be the first call I make.
