Description of Work: Line of Cherry Laurels needed cutting and trimming. Also, had one laying across neighbors power line. They coordinated with TECO to schedule power shut down for trimming. Very cautious, using the correct equipment.

Description of Work: They are the only "arborists" I saw advertised and thought I needed to go that direction for my Laurel Oak tree which is huge....25' perhaps?? They were totally professional!!! The owner came out first to discuss my wishes and just what should be done. The crew they sent were exceptional...top professional, friendly and courteous as well as knowledgeable!!!!! They cut the umbrella on this tree as if it had been "sculpted"...perfect! Even my neighbors commented several times!!!!!

Description of Work: Verbal estimate was for removal of two trees. I neglected to fully read the written work order which said to remove two trees to "low stumps". Jerry Upcavage wanted 22% more to remove the rest of the trees, two 10" stumps. The crew was good, but I'm never giving this guy any business again.

Job date, May 18th, 2016 This is the second time we have worked for this client and on both occasions during my next day follow up call, he said he was happy with the job. During this conversation, the client inquired about the cost to grind down the stumps and I quoted a price which he declined due to the cost. The WRITTEN proposal I handed to him on our April 12th meeting detailed exactly what services would be performed and at what cost. My proposal's first paragraph states "Back yard remove dead Queen Palm and dying Sabal Palm to low stumps" was clearly written and stated. I initially suggested stump grinding would not be practical because of the corner location of the stumps and close proximity of the fence, he agreed. As an average student in High School, I was happy with getting C grades because my efforts were average and I earned what grades were given. As a business owner for over 38 years, I know "average" is not acceptable if you want to be successful. I don't believe the "C" grade is warranted and wish Angie's List would contact the client on my behalf and remove the undeserved average grade given. Jerry Upcavage I.S.A. Certified Arborist SO-0307A
