Great! I gave the technician a tip since he was so thorough.

It worked out well. They were highly professional and responsive. They are attentive to detail, and they are one of the few that get a permit to do the install. I have never used one that did that. All you have to do is be there when they come to inspect the work.

After a $900 estimate to get the system up and running, we called Hot 2 Cold and received an estimate of $160 to get the system running. We felt the first company tried to pressure us to buy a new system right away (@$10000). Granted the AC system is 15 years old, Hot 2 Cold gave us time to get quotes from other companies. John Campbell gave us valuable advise about selecting a new unit. John was great. He was professional and very knowledgeable. We will certainly call upon Hot 2 Cold in the future. Great Company

John did a great job, this was the day that our building was having the fire alarms tested.. the noise was unbearable. But he got things done quickly and efficiently. In the past we had Wayne out and our experience was also excellent. Another company told us that we would have to replace the air handler and the AC unit at a cost of about $5,000, These guy's were like "why would you do that?" The office staff is great too. I highly recommend Hot 2 Cold

John did a great job taking care of my mother's a/c unit. She is very happy with the quick response, service and price.

This is the second time this company came to our rescue. I have never dealt with anyone who is so understanding. Mr. Giese travelled from Brandon to Tampa and spent at least 45 minutes trying to locate the problem on our A/C. Of course, when the doctor arrived, the problem was no longer there. There may be something wrong with the motor because apparently when it's on a long period of time, it heats up and we turn it off. During the cool down period, it fixed itself temporarily but Mr. Giese suggested I wait to see if it happens again. He did not want to charge me because he didn't really fix it. Said it would cost over $300 for a new part. Even though it was not repaired, anyone else would have taken advantage and charged me for the trip. Gotta love him. I know I will have to call him back soon but I have to save some money and will use fans for the time being.

Representative was very friendly and professional. He worked very hard and spent over 2 hours trying to fix and make our A/C run better and colder. We don't have any electrical connections on the outside of our home so he was working at a handicap and making the most of it and still kept his cool. He was so nice and answered whatever we asked him and I know his prices were a lot less than other companies. He didn't charge extra for a service call and just charged us a flat fee. Other companies wanted to charge a service fee plus $50 every half hour. We would have him back in an instant.

WOW excellent. I saw Wayne's web site and called for a free consolation. My thermostat had gone totally blank. Wayne asked me to check fuses, no trouble there, than he asked if it had a battery( no Battery in my unit) then he said the flood switch in the air handler unit could be backed up and turn off the thermostat. I checked it and found a wiring connector was not tight. As I tighten it- wala- the unit started working. With advice like this and at no charge I will always trust Wayne and his company, Thank you Wayne, Luis Domenech

Update from my last report on this company. Previously Hot to Cold came out and tried to fix my problem. In that is was not really fixable he did what he could. Spent a couple of hours working on it and then, because he couldn't fix the problem to HIS satisfaction, did not charge me for that visit. A couple of days later the AC broke again. Wayne came out took a look and then discussed with me the options. We choose to replace the faltering system with a new one. They were out the very next day (SATURDAY) they worked diligently and continually to, he even got a call for a second job nearby so they split their team and did both jobs. It was refreshing to meet with Wayne and get to know him. He did exactly what he said he was going to do and at the price he said he would do it at, no surprises. And by the way his price was the least expensive. There might be some benefit going with the big mega A/C companies around here. But for my money get a excellent quality local company. Develop a personal one on one relationship and you will be more than satisfied, I am. Try this guy!!!

I had another AC company come and tell me that the repair would cost $1800. Hot to Cold said they could do it for under $1000. In fact because the system didn't work properly when he left (through no fault of theirs) he didn't charge me. That alone will make me a life long customer of Hot to Cold!
