Very happy with the results!

Hometown heating and AC installed a brand new unit in our home June 2020. We didn't have any issues for the first year and a half, but in the last 6 months we've had 6 different technicians come to our home and none are able to fix the issue. The issue is during times its extremely hot the ac will just keep shutting off. The thermostat keeps losing power/restarting which doesn't allow the AC to run. The first visit they cleaned out drain pipe. The second visit they told us we need a new thermostat. Which we purchased. The third visit they told us the smart thermostat we purchased was the issues, so they installed an analog thermostat. The problem persisted, so then they told us it was the fan motor. They replaced that. Next they told us it was a short in the wire that connected the thermostat to the AC, that did not fix the issue, Most recently they told us our circuit board is fried. The ac was sporadically working until yesterday. Whatever the tech did yesterday knocked out the AC completely. . We received a text today stating they can no longer work on our ac and that we need to find a new company. When asked for a reason, they stated we will get an email with the reason in two day and would not explain anything over the phone. Two years after spending $7500 on a new air conditioner, and having 6 techs out here that cannot tell me definitively whats wrong, we are basically being told "good luck". We have not asked for a new AC at any point, because when ours used to turn on it blew cold and hot just fine. We just want the issue fixed, but no one can tell us what the issue is. They just keep replacing different things and hoping for the best. I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. There's no reason we should be shopping for a new air Conditioner and a new AC companie 1.5 years after we had ours installed by Hometown and they fact that they wiping their hands clean instead of standing by their work is unacceptable.

I had a great experience with hometown heating and air. The gentleman who came out was professional and very knowledgeable. I appreciated how he was able to explain what was wrong with my unit and I was able to upgrade to a new duct system. This was done in a timely manner as well.

TERRIBLE. Their tech determined the leak was due to a faulty valve. Replaced the valved and recharged the AC system. $900. Three weeks later the charge leaked out again, so i called again. There is a one year warranty on their service. It took them 4 days to come out from the time I called. Appeared on a Friday at 6 pm. Charged the system and left - no communication from the technician. Three weeks later, AGAIN the charged leaked out. Called again and the nice lady on the phone said I would be contacted. Called a second time and still was not contacted by the tech or anyone for that matter. TERRIBLE service. Stay away from this company. $900 down the drain.

The technician arrived on time and was courteous. However, he explained me that the service he was about to perform would not actually clean the vents, nor would it removed any dust particles. He then tried to sell me an air purification system for $2,450. The original service I requested was an Angie’s list deal for $149. I was not able to have my vents cleaned.

They were in at 10 AM and up by 1 PM. Installed system in a professional manner and everything is working well. No new ductwork was needed

Did a great job, very prompt no issues

Unit wasn’t cooling so I called the company, who came out within hours. My system wasn’t able to fixed that night so they left me a portable unit, which I’ve never had done before. And they returned the next morning with the needed part. Overall I had a great experience and would recommend.

It went okay. They arrived on time to do the work and are very responsive with my phone calls.

They came out and looked at the air conditioning and he tore it apart right then. The next day I had a new air conditioner. I don't know any other service that handles things that fast so I thought it was excellent. They were very polite and showed me everything. They made me understand the new thermometer system as well.
