The staff was great and the manager of the department actual stopped to make sure I was happy with the service I was receiving. The store even followed up to make sure everything went smoothly.

They were very good. I don't think they need to improve on anything. They ran a special in the spring, and the cost of the parts was extra, but it was not bad.

The quality and the price of the gutters were fantastic! The company that installed the gutters was also very punctual and professional.

Trusting Home Depot to stock quality lighting and plumbing hardware turned out to be a bad decision. In about two years, every single hardware item purchased from Home Depot in this particular remodeling project has broken or failed. Four out of six light sockets in the chandeliers burned out while using standard, regular light bulbs. A professional electrician deemed the chandeliers irreparable and recommended replacement, noting that the lights were "made in China" knock-off products with extremely shoddy hardware. Three out of four under-cabinet light fixtures revealed chronic problems with standard halogen replacement bulbs not precisely fitting in apparently non-standard sockets. Because of thw poor fit, pins broke off two dead bulbs during careful attempts to remove them for replacement. The handle broke off the kitchen faucet sprayer in less than a year after routine use by two gentle adults. The garbage disposal motor burned out and required replacement by a professional plumber. CONCLUSION: Home Depot stocks very low-quality lighting and kitchen plumbing hardware on the assumption that gullible consumers won't complain after they get a couple of year's use out of what should be long-term products. I've purchased all of my replacement hardware elsewhere and I've started paying more attention to recognizable name brands and countries of product origin. Caveat emptor.

The door was supposed to be in stock on a certain day for installment but they had sold the door to someone else. They ended up getting the door and installing it very well.

THE SALES PEOPLE HERE ARE HELPFUL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND THE DELIVERY MEN WERE COURTEOUS. HOWEVER, THE APPLIANCES WERE NOT DELIVERED ON THE DAY SCHEDULED AND WHEN THEY DID ARRIVE, ONE OF THE APPLIANCES WAS SCRATCHED. WE CONTACTED HOME DEPOT ABOUT THE PROBLEM. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT WAS VERY HELPFUL AND THEY GAVE US MONEY OFF OF THE PURCHASE PRICE.
