HH Gregg

Description of Work: I purchased a washer and dryer.

Description of Work: We ordered several appliances totalling over $6000. Because of the size of the purchase they said they would give a special price. At the end they gave us 5% off. The stove would not be available for several weeks. After signing the contract, we saw Home Depot on the way home. Home Depot had the same products, including a dryer which was higher end and a newer model. They also included a service contract on the refrigerator. They had the stove available and the cost of the order was $750 less than Gregg with the standard Home Depot discount for large sales. We called HHGregg the next day to cancel out order and were told they would meet Home Depot's price. Gregg did not give the better dryer or the refrigerator in claiming to meet Home Depot's price. We said cancel the order but had difficulty getting the salesman to agree to cancel. We got throught to someone who answered the manager's phone and said he would cancel the order. Two days later we were called that the stove was in and Gregg's would be delivering the products. We called again and could not get through but said we would refuse delivery. We called our credit card companies and found they had not cancelled the purchase. We told to credit card companies to cancel the order. This was not a pleasant experience.

Description of Work: I used them for purchase of a new dishwasher, stove, and microwave.

Description of Work: Sales staff promised installation for $79 for a stove top. First Tech could not install the stove top because the new one was larger than the existing one. I had told the Sales staff of this before hand and he promised that the Tech would be able to cut the opening to size. The Tech explained the issue to the dispatcher (tiles would have to be cut). The dispatcher agreed to send a different Tech the next day to cut the tiles. The second Tech arrived and said he could not cut the tiles. I am left with a stove top uninstalled.
