I called this company about artificial turf repair and re-design. Apparently they install but do no repair or re-design. That is a pretty big red flag, at least to me, but that is not the reason for this review. The person I talked to was very unprofessional, did not seem to know much, and I felt I was getting the run around. I think to get a good rating on Angie's List, the customer experience and service should start with the first point of contact.

Hardeman is a very professional group. From the project managers to the field workers, they provide quality. They absolutely see a project through from start to finish with competency and integrity. Would highly recommend.

They rerouted irrigation pipes UNDER the footers of the columns and we found that one was damaged shortly after project completion. I had specifically asked that they route the pipes around the project and not under the footers, but was ignored. I had to hire another irrigation company to do this the right way. The time to complete this project was ridiculous. Two 24"x 24"x78" columns should not take 6 months to build properly. They ran short of brick (the upper 1/3 of one column plus the tops of both)and took over a week to get the additional needed. They installed electrical conduit in the columns for lighting but left them several inches shorter than the tops of the columns and then filled the conduit in both columns with concrete, which the electrician took hours to chip out. After I received the final bill I discovered that they had not mortared around the hinges and that they had left a large hole in the top of the column where a brick should have been placed. It took two more trips out here to remedy those problems. On the first visit they mortared one hinge and installed the missing brick and mortared the second hinge after I called a second time. The columns are about 1 1/2 inches too short for the gate to properly sit on the columns--a visual issue, not a functional problem. Eventually, we got a good product, but had to deal with one thing after the other for months. Lots of excuses; lots of "yes, ma'ams," but these things should have been done right the first time. I hired someone else to complete the irrigation, new landscape design and install, and hardscaping for this project and had a much better experience. My neighbor contracted with Hardeman on my recommendation for a similar job done at the same time and had even more problems, including that their stucco columns were significantly too short and not square--something that is still not completely right--and the stucco job was poorly done and had to be re-done. At no time did the Hardeman folks come to us saying there were problems and they would be repaired. We had to call these very obvious problems to their attention and request that they remedy the issues. I was embarrassed to have suggested this company to the neighbor, given the problems we both dealt with last year.

I hired them because they were a professional company with good reviews. They are a one stop shop; they had an architect with the crew so they designed the patio and installed it. They were highly professional from beginning to end.

project went very well. there were a few delays and corrections that needed to be made (pergola was too tall) but overall, the work was completed on time and with a great deal of professionalism. hardeman has a large crew and extensive equipment so the work was completed in a timely way.
