Best contractors I've ever had in my home! They were on time, very pleasant, and friendly. They worked quickly but thoroughly with no surprises. They knew exactly what to do and how to do it. John and Eddie were the gents doing the work. Chris stopped in to make sure all was going as planned. What nice guys.

I left a call back message late one evening. At 8 a.m. the next morning Chris Groves returned my call. Briefly described to him what I wanted. He offered to drop by and give me an estimate that same morning. He inspected the electrical job to be done and gave me a written quotation. Offered great suggestions. Offered to do the job the same day. Quote was a few dollars higher than a previous quote, but we felt very comfortable with Chris and his crew. They finished the job on time and cleaned up the work area afterwards. The next day I noticed that the security light timer was not working properly. Called Chris the next morning and he came by the house a couple of hours later and cheerfully replaced the defective part. We would highly recommend Chris to anyone needing electrical installations or repairs.

He was very polite, personable and professional. He was here for probably about 4 hours and he did a great job. I got the Angie?s List discount from him. The price was normal - he was no better than anybody else nor was he worse. He was better in the fact that he gave a free estimate, and didn?t charge travel charges, which was very unusual. What he does is very specialized and his charges of about $80 an hour is typical.

They were punctual, did a great job, and cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely use them again. They were expensive.

Everything was wonderful. Jon arrived on time, polite and professional. He was thorough and clear in his explanation of what the problems were with the various fixtures. Chris (the owner/operator- also extremely polite and professional) stopped by to oversee the project and to go to the store to purchase the parts needed for repair. The jobs were completed same morning. I would rate the entire experience A+.

The two man crew arrived exactly on time on the scheduled days. The work involved being without electricity for quite a while, but they worked hard to make that time as short as possible. They were professional, the work was neat, and left the job site clean. When the portable generator, which I supplied, was determined to be defective, Chris examined the paperwork, called the supplier to see if they had a replacement in stock, loaded the defective generator on his truck, drove from Brandon to Plant City and exchanged it. I feel like this was above and beyond the scope of his work. It was excellent customer service. The kind of service that you rarely get these days. When two of the four motion sensor lights did not work as they should, I called Chris and he sent John out to replace them that very day. I've had no problems since then.

They came in and threaded the cables from the FIOS box to the wall behind the entertainment center. Since it was FIOS, they had me call the phone company to complete the connections, but they did a good job and even cleaned up after themselves. Very professional, inexpensive and fast. Will be calling them again to do more electrical work in the future.

The technician arrived on time. Knew exactly what the job included in relocating the system. Went right to work, including rewiring the part of the system that is in the attic. Cleaned up when the re-installation was complete. He was very professional! Would definitely use Groves again.

The job went great! Chris and Eddie were both very professional, prompt, and easy to work with. They did the work quickly and efficiently. They made great suggestions about converting the outlets in the kitchen and bathrooms to GFI and about the surge protector at the fuse box. I would highly recommend them and will use them again.

When Chris arrived he brought two of his guys with him. Although Chris did not stay for completion his main guy Jonathan was excellent. Chris is young, smart and very professional. We had been having problems with fuses tripping, light bulbs burning out within a few days and then a kitchen light bulb exploded one night. Groves Electric scheduled our project within 2 days of our initial conversation. The Groves Electric team is terrific. They explained everything to us and provided options to resolve our electrical issues. They are very knowledgeable and happy to share information. Our home has been free of surges, tripped fuses, and exploding light bulbs since the work was completed. Wonderful! I will definitely use them again when the need arises.

I e-mailed Chris after reading all the good reports he got from Angie's list and described my problem.He called me several days later and we arranged for him to come over the next day. He was very prompt, arriving a half hour early. My problem was that the AC compressor would cut-off frequently and wouldn't cool. After checking my entire central AC system, he found a burnt out part in the compressor and replaced it. This was after the AC company that installed my unit could not fix it after 3 service visits. So Chris came over and found the burned out part that the AC company over-looked! Chris also replaced several wall outlets' wiring that weren't functioning well. He cheerfully gave me the Angie's List 10% discount as a first time customer for service and parts. Chris was excellent and I highly recommend him and his company. My central AC unit is cooling better than ever! Chris is a gem!

They are really good. They are very reasonable, and they come out and evaluate the situation. We were going to put in a dishwasher and they told us that our fuse box was outdated. They kept us informed and they told us to check online for the problem. We are fortunate that they caught it because we found out others had caught on fire.

Outside he put up Christmas light boxes underneath our awnings. He put in a dedicated outlet in our garage for our freezer. He put in flood lights in the backyard. We were happy with him. If we need any work done we will call him again.

Fine. Technician found the problem immediately and basically re-hung the light correctly. Took about 20 minutes time. Technician was very polite and professional. Original price estimate was $110.00 flat rate for first hour of service. Received 10% discount for getting them off of Angie's list.
