I called up Groves Electric and they showed up 2 hours later. The electrician listened to the issue, and immediately started fixing the outdoor GFCI plug, which was no longer working. We then brainstormed on adding an additional receptacle outside, and he came up with a very efficient solution of adding a plug to the existing pool panel, which reduced the price and minimized any cutting into house walls. He then installed a dedicated indoor plug for my computer, since I was having problems with power surges. He reused the existing plug and refunded me price of the new plug he did not have to use. He then suggested I get a whole house surge protector (without selling too hard), but I agreed, because it was a better deal than the one offered by the power company, which has a monthly fee. Overall, the experience was very pleasant and I would definitely use this service again.

They did an excellent job. I plan to have them back out for more rewiring work. They cleaned up after themselves.

The Company arrived precisely at the appointed time and proceeded quickly to diagnose and assess the problem. The repairs were completed quickly and within the original estimate. Since they were there, they suggested I upgrade my electricals to include a system-wide power surge protection device. This was installed quickly and now offers nearly complete protection against lightening issues, not just the protection against select electronics in the house. These people were prompt, courteous and to the point at all times. They represent great value for the cost.

I chose Groves Electric because they were local and had excellent client reviews. When I contacted the company, Chris Groves (owner) answered the phone and was extremely pleasant, friendly and professional. I had recently purchased my home and had learned that my stovetop and built-in oven/microwave were improperly wired when the previous owners renovated the kitchen. I needed an electrician to add a dedicated circuit to the oven and add another light switch to my guest bathroom. We set Monday, August 22, for Groves Electric to check it out and give me an estimate. John showed up right on time and we walked around the house. I felt confident in his knowledge and added a couple more jobs to the list; add an receptacle outside my screened lanai and provide a dedicated circuit to my outside entry light separate from the garage lights. He provided me with the cost which I thought was fair. I was about to schedule a date for the actual job and was very pleased he offered to get the job done that very day. His associate, Chris (not the owner), joined him for the job. They worked so well together and independently. I was a little nervous when they had to remove the built-in oven unit but quickly learned there was no need for worry. Both of them had to spend time in my 150 degree attic but did not complain. Everything was accomplished in about 4 1/2 hours. They were amazing. I bragged about them to my family, friends and co-workers the next day. My next project will be a little outside lighting and I have no doubt that Groves Electric will be the ONLY company I call.

They were efficient and professional. Got the work done quickly for a reasonable price. Gave me a quote for some additional work. I will definitely call them back.

Everything was done right. Every one was professional and very nice. They informed me what was going on, step by step. He also went to Home Depot for me.

Chris was good at returning my calls. It was about 2 weeks from estimate to the schedule date the work was done. They arrived on time which is a big deal to me. They were very nice and professional. I will definitely use them again and recommend to others!

We discovered our A/C was out after work. We called him at 5:30, explained the problem and our suspicions of what the issue was. He arrived, gave us an estimate, which we agreed upon. The work was done quickly (he replaced melted wires in A/C disconnect) and A/C was back on and he was out by 6:45. He honored our Angie's list coupon. Extremely polite and professional. We will use again, highly recommend.

The experience was a good one. Excellent customer service combined with knowledgable staff= a great business. Jon and Andy answered all of my questions and showed me exactly what they were doing. They didn't seem to mind me peering over their shoulder as they worked! I called Groves this afternoon and an hour and a half later the electricians were at my door. I would recommend them to a friend primarily because of the friendly attitude they came into my house with.

They were done in less than 3 hours and did a perfect job.From the first call to the finished job it was a very pleasant experience. They were on time, reasonable and I would use them again any time.

Chris Groves came out last week and gave an estimate for the work. We scheduled an appointment that day about one week out. Chris listened to what I wanted, was confident, and had good eye contact in explaining how he proposed to complete the work. Chris made me feel like he would do a good job on the day he gave the estimate. On the day of the work, Chis, John and Eddie came out to the house at our scheduled time of 7:30 a.m. They promptly began work. During the work, I started to realize that Chris and I did not have a meeting of the minds as to my vision of the dimming of the lights. He thought I just wanted the main light to dim / I wanted all of the lights (including the lights on the fans) to dim. Chris was easy to talk to about our misunderstanding, and he quickly and without complaint agreed to wire all of the lights on a dimmer, per my vision, at no extra cost. Chris started the project with John and Eddie. Before Chris left, he explained to John and Eddie how he wanted the rest of the work to be completed. Chris came back out and helped finish up the work and inspected the work. John cleaned up inside and out, after the work was completed. All three men were a pleasure to deal with. The work was beautifully done and no shortcuts were taken. Chris even replaced an existing damaged electrical outlet in my carpart without my asking, and he did not even tell me he did it. I noticed it only after he left. I highly recommend Groves Electric and will use them again for other projects.

They were wonderful. The owner comes out to give the quote and he is really nice. He seemed interested. The people that he sent out were really good. I had got a quote from another guy and compared to his quote, Groves Electric was wonderful. I’m going to use them again in the future.

Chris initially came over to provide an estimate on work which we agreed upon. Work was scheduled for Tuesday and Chris, Jon and Eddie arrived promptly at the agreed time. Work proceeded efficiently and professionally. Completed work was very tidy and crew cleaned up the work areas before leaving. Will definitely use them again.

The electricians that came out from Groves Electric Inc were courteous. They were professional. I did like them. However, they were pricey. I would use them again in the future.

They were very few GFI and so many were wired to that one. So it was becoming very inconvenient to run from one room to another whenever one was out. Then Groves came out and accessed the situation and they gave us an estimate to replace the old ones which were worn out because their quality was cheap. They also gave us assessment and he broke it down to simpler terms so that we could decide what we can do. Then we decided to replace the GFI. They were very professional and very quick in their work. I would definitely use them in the future.

We have used them before and they haven't changed. They are really good folks. They are very friendly and they are personable. I feel comfortable having them in my home. They always offer to do something extra and they don't charge me any extra for that. I think that their price is probably higher than some other companies, but they are worth it. They always come when they say they would come. I would use them again in the future too.

Chris Groves is fantastic, he always calls back promptly and answers his own phone on weekends. His employees are punctual, respectful and do fast, quality work.

Showed up on time, gave me an estimate and recommended some upgrades to my outlets. They pointed out that my smoke detectors were not working and replaced on the spot. After changing my old outlets to a GFI, he even ran down to Lowe's to get matching outlet covers for my kitchen. They cleaned up after they were done and were very professional. Price was reasonable.

Fantastic. I got two quotes from Angies list providers. He was the cheapest and go the job done the same day.
