I thought the estimate was high, but the other work they did was satisfactory. They were nice, clean, and timely.

They arrived pretty close to the window I was quoted by Chris. Both technicians were very professional, quick and explained everything they were doing. I have used Grove's Electric in the past and because of our previous excellent service I called them again. I left a message on a Friday afternoon and the recorder said they would be out of the office until the following Monday. To my surprise, Chris called me on that Sunday and said he would have someone out the very next morning!

I loved working with Chris and John. They were very professional and knew what they were doing and they quickly and efficiently performed the service. They checked the pump to make sure it was working, found there was one pipe that wasn't glued appropriately, and even glued this pipe back for us. Overall, I am *very* satisfied with them and would gladly work with them again!!

The person who took my call was courteous and professional, and was able to set up an appointment immediately. They were able to perform same-day service, arrived within the estimated two-hour window, and called mid-window to update me on their ETA. Upon arrival, they explained the service policy, the expected charges, and estimated time to complete the job. The two electricians were friendly, courteous, and professional. They assessed what was needed to solve the problem, and made recommendations to improve safety beyond just performing the repair. They also informed me that the company performs many routine services on a flat-rate basis. They offered to install a whole-house surge suppressor, and let me know that as a flat-rate install, the price would be the same even if they didn't perform that install the same day. The work was completed quickly, and they made sure to leave everything clean and tidy. I would not hesitate to call again with my electrical needs, and I would gladly recommend them to others.

Chris came out to address an electrical issue on my hot water heater that the warranty service could not identify/fix. He was on time, professional, and fixed the problem. I would definitely have him back

They came on time. The guys knew what they were doing. They were very proficient and knowledgeable in electrical applications. They wanted to know if I had any other problems they could check out. They offered to put in a breaker system, and I would decide if I wanted that later.

They came out and looked over the lighting. Estimated the cost to fix and fixed the same day.

For this job, he once again provided a free, written estimate, arrived with his team on the date/time promised, and they took extra care to ensure that the new outlets were installed, tested and labeled correctly. Absolutely no complaints. This was my second time using their services and would not hesitate to recommend them.

They showed up with 4 guys exactly on time. I explained the job and they gave me an estimate. They devised a plan. 2 guys got up in the attic, 1 guy was the runner to get parts and cables and one guy did all of the finish work in the room. Within a hour and a half they were cleaned up and out with great work done. I am very happen with the work and they will be out to do further work at my house.

Prompt and courteous. Came back quickly when one of the lights needed adjusting. Will definitely use them in the future.

The total experience was excellent. They were always on time, or early. The crew was very professional and courteous (we had 4 in the house for most of one day), the owner was attentive, and collectively they performed the requested work as well as making suggestions on other things we could consider, such as the display cabinet lighting which we agreed to. They were obviously experienced and skilled as they carried out their individual activities (particularly dealing with an older home), and the end result was high quality. For example, though the landscape lighting was installed during the day, the fixtures were perfectly placed and required no adjustment once it was dark. And last but not least, as they were about to finish we discovered that our new dishwasher didn't drain. They all came back into the kitchen, put their heads together, and based on similar experience, solved that non-electrical problem at no extra charge. Highly recommended and would certainly use their services again.

The service was excellent! He gave us an estimate and then didn’t charge us anymore, even though he ran into some difficulties during the installation.

They were awesome. They came before they said they were going to come because I was out of water and I could not use the pump. I came and hooked up a temporary line till they could come up and do the job. They went above and beyond in every aspect of the job. They were quick, efficient, professional and the nicest people I have ever dealt with. They answered my questions before I could ask them. I am going to use them for my rental house.

On 2/6/13 at time set for installation, Groves service electricians (Jon & Chris) showed promptly with ordered lights. Chris Groves (owner) came out to check on the progress of the job and assist as needed with the installations. It was discovered that when my 150 Amp Breaker Panel (circa 1977) was inspected, corrosion was found on some of the wire connections. I was advised that this make & model was listed as a possible fire hazard and not considered safe. Also noted was that the (2) disconnect boxes for my air conditioner were of the same make and age. Additionally noted, was the fact that my hot water heater in the garage was not correctly wired. Finally, (2) of the existing outside lights that were to be replaced were wired incorrectly and a possible fire hazard. Following work was completed: 1. a new breaker panel was installed; all inside outlets checked for power; panel box labeled with breaker connections 2.an internal surge protector was installed inside the breaker panel. 3. (2) AC disconnect boxes to my air conditioner were replaced 4. all wiring violations were corrected 5. (5) new outside lights were installed Jon & Chris were professional and friendly. They answered all my questions. Chris ( the owner) was on site intermittently to assess job and provided additional information as needed. I am please with the good job that was done and would certainly use Groves Electric again in the future for any additional electrical work I might need.

We got Groves Electric info from Angie's List and also noticed it was listed under the Honor Roll in your magazine. We talked to the owner, Chris Groves, on the phone first and he then scheduled his electricians Jon & Eddie to come out and give us an estimate of the electrical work we needed done. We then scheduled them to return on Nov 20th and the work was completed in an excellent manner. First of all, Jon & Eddie were very nice to talk to and work with, giving us various ideas on how to accomplish the work in the best and most efficient manner.......Very Impressive Electricians. We were very happy with Groves Electric and will definitely hire them again in the future if needed.

Although it may have been a misunderstanding they were a week late. Other than that their work and pricing are excellent! They gave me a quote for the work prior to starting and once finished I furnished a 10% off coupon and they honored it. Would definitely use them again but will make sure we both have the appointment scheduled for the same day and time!

My husband recently plugged in our coffee maker only to see sparks come out of our kitchen outlet, which resulted in a burnt mark around the faceplate. Since our home is older, neither of us felt comfortable messing around with it. I called Grove's and Chris promptly answered the phone. He offered to send someone out that same afternoon and provided a three hour window in which his employees would arrive . The electricians arrived within the 3 hour window. They were both very friendly and professional. Much to my embarrassment, the "outlet" that had burnt was actually an extender plugged into the actual outlet. Once they removed the extender and flipped the switch in the circuit box, my outlet worked without any further service needed. Although this was a silly fix and did not require an electrician, I certainly plan to hire Grove's in the future as we complete projects in our home. I appreciated their honesty regarding the "problem" and their kindness in not charging me for the service call. I will recommend the company to friends and neighbors.
