Above is my original review.. this is an update as of 3/17/2016.. I had originally given an A.. all seemed good for the most part.. after about a month.. I had to go back and clean and seal the shower floor myself.. upon review of the receipt .. it says floor not guaranteed.. but I was still surprised how fast there was an issue.. then a month ago my renter told me the shower is still leaking and caused damage on the wall... same leak... so approx 10 days ago I called and spoke to a gentleman that apologized.. said that someone would call from the office to schedule a service call to come out and take care of it... well .. as of today.. no call... I am hoping this is just a communication glitch and they will contact me and solve this issue... I have reached out via email, angies list and facebook and I am waiting for a response.

This was one of the best calls I've made in some time. The office is very professional setting up an appointment to inspect what we needed. Rep came out and walked through our list of grout issues and then pointed out additional areas we were unaware of which could lead to a mold hazard. We sat down and Randy who prepared the quote in menu fashion.... you could pick and choose what you wanted to proceed with immediately or put off for you next round of maintenance. I can tell you Groutworks does a whole lot more than GROUT. We had grout repaired in 2 bathrooms, cleaned and sealed. We had 1980's tile deep cleaned, regrouted and sealed... including a last minute change of grout color. Then we had the entire 1300+ sq ft condo of old carpeting cleaned.... it looks new and having respiratory issues I feel it made a huge difference removing allergens. I've had the $99 room specials on this carpeting.... this clean is WAY CLEAN. We had a callback to tough up an area of grout after it dried and it was handled promptly and efficiently. Prepare for some noise from the extractor and prepare for a really deep clean. Thanks!!!

Received an email from grout works August 13th @ 8:30 AM informing me that they will be at my home on Thursday 8/20 and again on 8/21 between 8 and 9am. Day 1? Work started on Thursday on time & again on Friday on time, floors were cleaned very well with floor machine to assist grout color stain would stick to the grout surface. I had to open the Windows due to the smell from the chemical floor cleaner, some of the techs were already starting to apply the new stain color to the grout were the floor had been cleaned. The tiles in the house were noticeably sweating from the humidity, didn?t look like this stain was attaching very well on top of the grout, we decided to close the windows and bring back down the air temperature, now the new stain seem like it was attaching correctly to the grout. One of the techs started on the shower scraping out the old grout (2 tiles up from floor), said they would grout the next day. Not all of the stain on the floors tiles were finished. Day 2? work resumed with only two techs now, one to complete the floor touchup grouting and little shower & one to complete staining grout. Seem like everything was okay, after techs left that day I went around the house looking at everything, and noticed this stain did not stick to the grout in many areas of our home. Also noticed both hall closets and bedroom closets were missed, no stain to the grout applied. I also noticed in the little shower that there was no grout in some of the spaces between the tiles, did not make me a happy camper. I called and spoke with someone at Groutworks about my dilemma? the next morning! Said they would send someone out the next day to look at everything and complete staining closets floors were they missed & some places that did not take to well to the stain & also fill-in grout were missed in shower, apparently when scraping out the old grout in the little shower, someone scraped two of the tiles in the shower, one not so bad a scrape, but the other very noticeably, which made me sad. I called and spoke with someone at Groutworks and was informed there is not much anyone can do for that, my husband agreed, said it would be very hard to match the tiles, so I have to live with another person?s slip of the blade when they were taking out the old grout. I understand things happen, one scrap I could understand, Two? not so much???..

They came out to measure and provide an estimate. The estimate was e-mailed to me. I scheduled the work to be done about 2 weeks out. They arrived on time and were very professional. It took a full day to complete. They were very clean and the results were excellent.

The day before showed up to fix tiles that had come loose and lost grout. Repaired and replaced grout. Next day cleaned all the tiles, grout and then stained it. Completely cleaned the bathroom shower walls. The work done was Superb and I would highly recommend this contractor. One week following this contractor came back and completely steam cleaned all the carpet throughout the house which cost 270 dollars. Exceptional job.

I used an Angie List coupon. They called to schedule their service. A sales guy came out to look at everything and go over tile color staining and cleaning. He explained the process GroutWorks goes through. They called the next day to schedule the actual cleaning. From initial sales call to work completion was 4 days. The tile looks new!

If I could give them higher than an "A" I would!! The tile looks amazing! The only downfall is that my wife was upset with me for not calling them SOONER :-) They arrived on time, the tech worked hard all day, and was extremely detail focused. If you have tile in need of cleaning, I highly recommend GroutWorks!

Fred and Lloyd were great; professional and polite. They completed their work on time and without fuss. I would highly recommend them.

I contacted them since I need my floors polished. They said they don't do that type of floors but they gave me another number. And hopefully they will help me.

Even with all the schedule changes that were completely on my part they were very accommodating. I spoke with Sue and she was very sweet and always a pleasure to work with. They also came out a second time because I was not happy with the grout color in the bathroom and happily changed it. They were supposed to clean our carpets but in the end we decided to replace the carpet instead. I would definitely recommend them.

Debbie was responsive and extremely professional while also being friendly and easy to deal with. Her staff was incredible both when we called the office and when they came out to do the work. We chose cleaning and re-staining instead of a huge and costly retile job and are very pleased with the results.

Absolutely wonderful job! It looks almost like new! We had a couple of glitches, which Groutworks promptly resolved. In a time when other companies display a lack of customer service and care, it is so impressive that Groutworks is a company that maintains high standards, quality, service, concern and pride in their workmanship. Previous residents had caulked the shower, so the grout lines were consistently getting darker and darker. Cleaners and bleach would not lighten it. While cleaning, we noticed caulk starting to peel off to reveal there was spaces of missing grout. It had become very unsightly, not to mention the wonder of what kind of bacteria was accumulating. Before it became a science project, we started searching for a company that will re-grout the tiles. It was hard to find a company that would not repair, but re-grout the shower, not just cover it with caulk. We found one non Angie's List contractor, who explained that the grout lines would need to be scraped and then re-grouted. Time-consuming and not an easy task until we discovered Groutworks on Angie's List. Groutworks sent someone to assess and give an estimate. A date was scheduled and the work began. Kudos to Debbie, Brad, Sue and the Groutworks team members. The shower looks fantastic and like new, so much better than it did. Actually, the entire bathroom looks fantastic! Groutworks also cleaned the floor tiles with a special cleaner, then sealed the tiles (no more dark imperfections in the tiles that despite bleaching, cleaning and scrubbing, never seem to look clean) They stained the groutlines (they can apply sample colors for the client to select) of the tiled floor and the improvement is significantly obvious to us. We usually steam the tile to clean and yet the grout lines appeared dirty. Now, after cleaning, it looks clean. Groutworks cleaned it with a special wash and then stained and sealed the lines. We are extremely pleased with the work Groutworks has done. We would use them again.

Estimator Randy was very knowledgeable and helpful in recommending the best color selections of grout to accent the existing tiles which once cleaned would make the bathroom floor look new. Technician Dustin did an excellent job in cleaning, re-grouting and restoring an old bathroom tile floor to make it look new. Dustin was very competent, focused, customer-related and highly personable. He represented Grout Works superbly. I could not be happier with the results, it truly exceeded what I had hoped for. I will soon be calling Grout Works to return and clean and re-grout the kitchen floor and second bathroom. My thanks to the company for a job done well.

It was an AWESOME job!!! Steve and Jeff went right to work; they left my home with totally new looking floors. It looked even better than when it was first installed. Steve and Jeff were so professional that I was happy to work on my own chores while they were working. The match-up of grout color was perfect. I strongly urge anyone who is interested in tile/floor work to use this company - you just can't get a better job. They also left my house clean, neat and tidy.

I contacted Groutworks because I had a relatively new shower floor that was already deteriorating. When Debbie came out to look she advised me not to re-grout, but rather to do some touch up and put a double coat of sealer on the floor. Steve arrived at the appointed time and set to work. The result is a perfect job and I couldn't be happier. I will definitely call on Groutworks again.

They were on time did a great job and it looks great, The we're professional neat cleaned up before leaving. They met all our expectations.

This is what I call the Dream Team. Debbie came out at the time agreed to test the areas to be sure they could be cleaned, I was pleased to find out the white tile floor and grout could be refreshed. Sue called to make my appointment and again the day before to confirm. very efficient and professional. John called when he was on his way and arrived timely. He worked very hard and went the extra mile to even clean and caulk around the toilet to make it a complete look. Eli joined John a little later and they finished the job in several hours. We are so happy with this company, their employees and the finished product. Definitely will used them again, when needed.

I had used Angie's List to check out businesses that clean grouts, two of them were going to be at the Home Show in St. Petersburg in July 2014. We visited both tables and left our address and phone number. I followed up with both in August to arrange for a walk through and estimate. The other company's phone number was the owner's cell phone, he stated he would call back but I have not heard from him since. I left a message at Groutworks;a return call was received from Sue in less than an hour a date for an estimate was arranged. Steven arrived August 29th on time; he was very methodical in his measuring. He provided a quote of $742 and noted a $50 discount for initial contact being at the Home Show. An appointment for the work was arranged with Debbie, the owner. On September 30th, Tim and his partner (I believe it was John) arrived to do our floors. They throughly cleaned the tile, stained and sealed it. In fact, the pattern of my tile misled Tim into thinking he was not getting all the dirt. Believe me they did! I was offered a choice of stains but continued with a shade similar to what I had. The floors look fantastic. They even repaired a chip on the kitchen floor. I sought advice on the best method to clean my floors for the grout work to be maintained as long as possible. Both of the crew members were courteous and professional. Everyone throughout this process was top knotch - Debbie, Sue, Steven, Tim, and John (?). Groutworks is reliable and does quality work. It was great working with a company near my neighborhood.

A representative of the company came to the house and discussed how the tile gets cleaned. He picked one tile in the living room and cleaned it. Then he used another bottle to seal the grout. And thats the part that sealed the deal. I dislike our living room tile and have priced out replacing it. Due to the cost, we have chose to live with it. When he resealed that one tile I could see all the difference in the world. I don't know how long it will last but I'm hoping a while, since it was costly. An appointment was set up for the following week. John showed up promptly and got right to work. An hour later a young man came and seemed to shuffle in. It took him a good half hour to get himself started on the other end of the house. Meanwhile, John was going to town. Another man came half ways through and helped out for an hour. It took them approx. 4 hours to get everything done. I would definitely recommend John again. The floor looks great. I've heard that the resealing does not always last long but I'm hoping we get a few years out of it. I believe they told me they warrantied for a year. If it holds up I will definitely do it again in a few years and use this same company
