Green Solutions is an award-winning Lawn Care (fertilization, insect, disease, and weed control), Shrub and Palm care, full service commercial and residential Pest control, Termite, Mosquito, and rodent control company serving the Tampa Bay area. Among these awards is the Angie's List Super Service Award for 2012 and 2013. We offer "green" options for most services. We are one of a very few companies in Florida that are GreenPro certified. We are a full service Pest Control, Termite, and Lawn Care Business. Green Solutions is proud to offer our customers over 80 years of industry experience and is confident that we hold the solution to your lawn and pest problems. Our Staff is readily available to provide lawn and pest assessments and to make environmentally sound recommendations. Our application technicians are extensively trained in pesticide application proficiency and safety procedures and are ready to respond on a moments notice. Our final step to ensuring our customer’s complete satisfaction is to provide our Quality Assurance Guarantee which allows our customers unlimited service calls by managers to answer any unsolved questions or concerns. Our Management Team's past and current credentials: *Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Turf Management *University of Georgia with a Bachelors Degree in Turfgrass Management. *University of Florida with an undergraduate and graduate degree in Horticulture *Chief Agronomist to the Greg Norman Turf Company *Board Member and President of the Florida Turfgrass Association.

Description of Work: They do an excellent job treating my Imperial Zoysia lawn in the front and St Augustine in the back. Lawn Care Program Plus -Back yard weed treatment. They are at the higher end of the price spectrum, but always call the night before treatment and are very professional.

Description of Work: They treated my yard with weed killer/fertilizer. Orkin had it before them and they were horrible. I needed help fast before the sod had to be replaced. Green Solutions was responsive and the yard is looking better. A little more than what I was paying with the last 3 companies.

Description of Work: I had several lawn issues when they first started servicing my lawn - initially they were very attentive. One of my main concerns were the amount of weeds. After several months of service I was not noticing any change and had to start calling to have them come out between regular service (the contract was for 7x a year).

Some yards prove to be more difficult than others when it comes to weed control, and some customers have a low tolerance for any weeds at all. Mother nature can be a viscous competitor, and we do not always win the battle against her. In any case we appreciate the chance to have served you. Hopefully you found a service provider with whom you are happy. If you are interested in resuming your service with us at any point in the future, I would like to offer you a $25 credit towards your first treatment as a goodwill gesture. This can even be applied to our Indoor Pest Control service. Description of Work: Started using this company in 2007. Lawn has deteriorated this year. I have asked them to come back a few times in the past but this year it seems they "lost control" completely and I thought I was going to have to re-sod. I was referred to another company and in the past 60 days they have made great improvement. I feel I made the right decision to make a change in March.

[member name removed], As you outlined in your review we had worked for you for over 6 years. I have met you on the property on an occasion or two to discuss the lawn. I thought we had a good working relationship. I was surprised when you canceled the service with a voicemail that offered no explanation and an edict that you did not want to be called back about the matter. It is interesting that I do not show a service call request from you for 2 years prior to your cancellation outlining any sort of concern. Just an out-of-the-blue cancel with no reason whatsoever. I can't very well address your concerns if I do not know what they are. I would imagine, given the history we had working together, that you would know I'd do whatever I needed to in the spirit of fairness to try to make you happy. However, I wasn't offered that opportunity. I can't do anything about concerns that you are not willing to share with me. I believe that grading my company a "C" for professionalism, punctuality, and responsiveness is unfair and unwarranted given my personal involvement and demonstrated history of addressing your concerns with the lawn. I think that grade should be reserved for owners that do not call you back immediately, do not come and look at your concerns personally and in short order, and are not willing to meet you on site. All I ever wish for from Angie’s List customers is a fair assessment of the categories for which we are to be graded. Anyway, I hope you are happy with your current provider. Description of Work: They worked for one year to improve our Zoysia grass. While we saw the grass get better it was clearly a challenge to get it cleaned up and healthy. Maybe we planted the wrong Zoysia for Tampa. Not sure. We installed it ourselves. We called on Green Solutions for help when we realized we could not get the grass to improve and fill in. They did the best they could. It is clearly filled in, still has sections of brown and has a ton of weeds in it. I do not fault Green Solutions. This was a tough lawn to take on. It looks better than it did. |I would NOT plant Zoysia again especially from mail order. Looking back I should have bought it locally. |They were very reasonable for my budget. Always courteous and dressed professionally.We hope to continue with them. I have moving over to the St. Augustine and with their help I hope it works out much better. |Great group of guys!
