It took a long time (almost six months) to obtain the materials (tiles, pavers, etc.) -- this is was mostly out of the hands of GPS Pools and due largely to global supply chain issues. Once received, the craftsmanship and skill that went into the tiling, pool resurfacing, and deck pavers was excellent. I got quotes from other providers, and GPS offered a fair and competitive price as well.

I hired GPS Pools to remodel my pool, add a pool heater and provide the monthly maintenance. Now that I have experienced all of their services, here is my honest opinion. The Remodel - The pebble tech looks amazing! It sparkles and really looks fantastic. The placement of the mosaics isn't the greatest. Unfortunately they were moved from where I originally wanted and it could have been done better. The Tile work - Absolutely horrific job. The grout was poorly placed, left on the tile. From a far, you don't notice it, but up close, it's terrible. The tile itself isn't level. There is literally waves in the tile. Again, if you're looking at the pool from a far, you can't see it. But if it's your pool and you paid over $20,000, you do. The Heater - This thing rocks! Fantastic product The Maintenance - This was terrible right out the gate. After having the pool remodeled a large calcium build up was extremely visible. If your job is to clean the pool, you should have to be told to treat it. The cleaning, in general was half a%4. The last maintenance they provided, the cleaner actually left the break open and the pump off, so the pool didn't run for 2 days. Had I not walked outside, I wouldn't have noticed until the weekend. He even installed the cover of the filter backwards. I called the office to get this fixed and was told after a week that the cleaner wasn't told to fix the filter because "they didn't feel it was a big deal" For me, my 1 and 3 year old swim in this pool. If you can't get the basics right, I can't put my trust in you to do the rest. In closing, I chose GPS because they did the work and maintained the pool, so I thought. But the truth is they hire contractors and are at the mercy of their skill set. I actually paid them more than the majority of the bids I received, to have one company do everything. My thought process was, if there was issues, I only had one company to deal with. If I had it to do all over again, I would have chosen an actual company that does their own remodeling, hired a professional cleaning service and used GPS for the occasional chemical needs when they arise.

Questionable Business Practices & Poor Service... Several weeks ago I brought the Dolphin Echo Pool Vac, that I had purchased from GPS Pools for $550.00, to GPS Pools for repair. Ashley said I would receive a call in a day or two with the diagnosis. I received no calls over the next 3 days. I had to go out-of-town. When I got back, over a week had gone by… and still no call. I finally called Ashley. She didn’t come to the phone so I left a message… and was told that Ashley would call me back when she got free. No call back. I called GPS Pools 3 hours later. Ashley didn’t come to the phone but some guy told me she checked out my pool vac… and it needed a new motor. And, by the way, the motor on the vac is out of warranty, so it is going to cost $350 to fix. I said, “No Thanks”. I picked up the vac, then called Maytronics, the manufacturer. They explained that the motor, power supply, etc. had a two-year warranty. I shipped the vac to them on Monday… and received the repaired vac the following Saturday... No charge. Fabulous service! The repair order from the manufacturer stated... "The motor was good!" Maytronics replaced the DNI part in the Power Supply. I am a businessman who understands the importance of good communications, honesty & truth with customers. Sadly, GPS Pools has failed in all of the above qualities. There are too many good Pool Supply companies… to deal with a business that isn't honest with their customers. Never will I step foot in this business again!

I called 4 businesses and they were the only ones who called back. Their communication throughout the whole process was great, the work was performed quickly, and the price was very reasonable. I will only call them next time I need pool/spa repairs!

Jeremy and the while GPS team and subs were very professional and courteous. There work was done on time and superb quality. My pool was refinished after 20 years and it looks fantastic. They also refinished 2 of my neighbors pools in the same time frame and they look great as well. Have been using GPS for approx 10 years for all my pool services and products. Great company. Great people.

They did an outstanding job, the workmanship was superior, they're very efficient, very dependable, great follow up.

GPS Pool's Jeremy and his team were outstanding. Everything was done exactly as stated and in good order. We had the following items done: - New gas heater installed - New salt generator installed - New LED lighting system installed - Resurfaced pool - New equipment pad for pump and filter We are most pleased with their work and consider them our "go to" pool company.

The only thing they did right was drain and acid wash the pool. After they had washed and sealed the travertine, there were weeds growing up in about two weeks. There was also loose sand around, which shouldn't be, and when it rained a good amount the first time, the water drains clogged with sand and it flooded. When I contacted them to come back and fix it, they came up with excuses and I could not win. I'm stupid and signed up for a monthly maintenance program, and when they tried to charge my credit card twice I changed it and agreed to send checks in the mail. Finally I contacted Glenn and I canceled effective June 1st. Not sure why they came to the pool July 6th and poured stabilizer into my skimmer clogging it completely, I'm mad as h***! Please save yourself and DO NOT DO BUSINESS with them.

They were extremely knowledgeable and professional. Instead of increasing the cost, my technician provided several suggestions for reducing the cost of the service call. The value in terms to the cost of the repair was outstanding. The communication from GPS was frequent and surpassed my expectations. They were prompt to respond and resolved my issue quickly. I would highly recommend GPS and use them for all my future pool servicing needs.

We recently started weekly pool maintenance with GPS after a pool remodel. We are impressed and happy with services. The GPS techs are professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We set up an appointment with one of the owners, Jeremy, for a pool school to walk us through the equipment. He was very professional, timely and courteous. He noticed that we had broken parts on the pool vac, so he took it back to the store to replace parts. It was fixed that day and ready to pick up. We will have to purchase a heater in the near future, so he provided information on what would work best for our pool. It was nice to have someone explain the pool/equipment and I would recommend this to others if you are new to your home. We look forward to their services and would recommend.

Their services have gone well. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. We really like this company and will continue using them. It is very easy to schedule them out, as well.

They told me I could fix it myself and explained how. The part was only $10, and they didnt' want to charge me a service call when it was such a simple thing to fix myself. I completely respect them for being good sales people that are looking out for me as a long term customer rather than trying to make money off a service call that would have been a three minute fix.

We used this company for one year. For the first six to nine months, I was pleased. Then we began having a different technician every few weeks. The last three months we had four different pool techs. One tech commented that it looked like our pool filter wasn't working correctly. I called our home warranty company, who sent out a third-party pool service professional. He discovered that our filter grids were completely crushed, from a lack of basic pool maintenance (putting DE powder into the skimmer when the filter is backwashed). I had to pay a $75. trade fee to the home warranty company. I contacted GPS Pools about this issue, and left a message for the owner on two occasions. He never bothered to return my call. He sent out a guy, who was completely dismissive that their company failed to put in DE Powder, and ignored my request that they reimburse me for the $75. trade fee. He kept trying to change the subject. I cancelled my monthly pool service with this company that month.

The owner came by for the initial visit and he seemed quite knowledgeable. My wife said that it did not appear that they swept the bottom every week. After about 2 months of their work, I checked the filter, and found that the large O-ring was covered in a white colored grease that appeared to be a petroleum-based product such as lithium grease, with or without Teflon. The O-ring was thoroughly cracked. I had lubricated the O-ring with pure silicone lubricant, what the pool stores recommend, for over 2 years and the O-ring had looked like new when I handed the maintenance over to them 2 months prior. My conclusion was that they use a petroleum-based product, which is known to attack o-rings, instead of silicone, which is more expensive. In view of their treatment of the O-rings, and the lack of consistent sweeping, I cancelled service with them.

Jeremy was fantastic. He came out, walked me through some of the basics I needed to know in order to prevent further damage. call into the store and place an order for parts that were missing from the pool. He was able to recommend an electrician who could fix the wiring issues and then GPS will come back out to replace a light. It was great to have someone be able to make owning a pool easy rather than this daunting task to add on to home ownership.

They do good work. They are friendly and professional. When visit their store they are very helpful and knowledgeable about products. Always willing to help.

I would highly reccomend GPS Pools. Communication was great, Glen was prompt and very very easy to work with. I found him to be honest, patient and willing to stand in the rain and answer every quesiton I had as well as inspecting every issue I identifed. I was very very satisified with Glen and GPS Pools and would highly recommend them. I will use them for all of my pool needs going forward.

I would highly recommend GPS. I worked with Jeremy and he was great. We called approximately 7 different companies and only 4 got back to us. Jeremy's estimate was the most thorough, he spent the most time with me explaining services and equipment and he was very professional and friendly. What really stood out was his honesty. We were looking at estimates to resurface our pool and he told us it wasn't necessary and we still had a few years before we had to do that. He recommended a great electrician for us and installed our heater quickly. Furthermore, he also helped with replumbing and gave us future tips on equipment to reduce our energy bills. Jeremy was great to work with and also took the time to teach me how to use all of our equipment properly.

We use GPS pools ongoing to get our pool chemicals. They were so helpful to us in the past that we hired them to come out and give us a pool class in March 2013. They have built trust in the community are very professional. I highly recommend this business for all pool services.

All in all it went very well. Far better than my last pool company experience. There were a few minor miscommunications which were rapidly corrected. Everyone is professional and courteous and informative. They gave me good advice on ways to lower my maintenance bills. A great experience in comparison I have had with others over the past many years.

GPS were very prompt to come and discuss what I wanted to purchase. I felt very comfortable with our negotiations. The install went exactly as planned. I had complete trust in them and I wasn't disappointed. They have continued with excellent service and are always willing to answer my questions. I highly recommend GPS Pools.

They were very responsive and helpful with the repair job. The weekly pool maintenance - that did not go well. We returned home to find the water level so low that the pump would have burned out if our neighbor had not turned it off. And when they changed our $100+ water filter they threw away the one removed. Keeping two filters for alternate use is a recommended practice. They refused to replace our property or make any adjustment for their error.
