We could not possibly be happier with our experience with Golden Movers. We moved the contents of a large home and two vehicles (a large SUV and an Aston Martin DB9) across the country from Tampa to our new home in Colorado. The guys at Golden Movers were incredible. Not one single item was damaged. We received a couple of estimates from reputable companies and Golden provided the best price. In fact, when you consider that they also moved 2 cars including an exotic car that none of the other moving companies would even consider moving they were much less expensive than any of the other movers. We wanted to pack up most of the small stuff for ourselves so that we could have a chance to decide what items we didn't want to take with us to Colorado. The day after we selected them for the move they dropped off everything we needed to pack up the house including, stacks of new flat boxes in different sizes, hundreds of sheets of padding paper and shipping tape. They even left instructions on how to pack and what items went into the different box types. Throughout the process they stayed in touch with us to see how we were doing with the packing and to make sure that we were on track with our moving date. I asked them about this and they told us that it's not unusual for closings to be delayed so they like to confirm the moving dates. We moved the Friday after Thanksgiving and they showed up on time with a small army of guys to pack up the remaining items we didn't get to and load the largest moving van I've ever seen. The crew did an amazing job wrapping the furniture in heavy padding and not one single item was damaged in any way. At the end of the day a special flat bed tow truck showed up to load the SUV and the DB9 into the moving van. I was a little worried about the car but it turned out that they had ordered a towing company that specialized in moving exotic cars. Everything went without a hitch. To my amazement they showed up precisely on time 3 days later in Colorado, The same gentlemen that loaded the truck were there in Colorado to unload the truck. They told us that they don't like to hire temporary labor to avoid problems with people they don't know. They also had a specialist tow company meet them to unload the cars. When it came time to pay the bill the amount was exactly what they quoted. Not one penny more. I highly recommend Golden Movers without hesitation. They are honest and dependable.

Golden Movers really is a different kind of moving company. I have done six cross country moves in the past, so it's safe to say that this isn't my first rodeo. With other companies I have experienced split shipments, damage in shipping, damage during packing, damage during storage, horrible experiences with corporate claims departments, scary crews, you name it. Not with Golden Movers! As far as moves go, this one was pleasant (or at least as close as relocating 10 years of accumulated goods 1,000 miles can be). Everyone who packed, loaded, or shipped my goods was an employee of Golden Movers. They were all very professional, polite, and careful with my belongings. One of the two owners (Terry and Josh) was present during the entire process. Terry helped pack, Josh loaded and drove the van. They were on time, efficient, and it cost what they said it would cost. Due to issues with the closing on our new home, I had to change our delivery date four or five times. No problem. Terry was able to accommodate our delivery needs and they arrived on schedule - almost to the minute. A couple of weeks after our move-in, they were able to come back and pick up our empty boxes. I will note that a couple of items were damaged during this whole process. All in all, I would consider the damage minor and Golden Movers accepted full responsibility. In fact, in one instance it was Josh who brought the damage to my attention. The damage is being repaired, no one will ever be able to tell that it happened in the first place, and Golden Movers reimbursed me for the cost of the repairs above my deductible. I can recommend them without reservation and would use them again without a second thought.

Both guys were on time, very personal, very knowledgeable, and in fact I did enjoyed the experience thoroughly.

The move went great. Golden Movers hires motivated, polite and professional workers, all of whom were expert at the task. They arrived early, and moved us in record time (8am to 3pm, approximately) from arrival to doors closed and driving away in the truck. They brought 4 men, all of whom were motivated, professional and courteous, and even offered to help me personally move items which were not on the manifest (helped me load my electronics into my car). While there was a bit of damage (very slight...a "ding" to an old fiberboard desk and a small dent in a wall from where a leg from a vanity caught the corner bead), everything was repaired same day and not one of the fragile items or valuable items (paintings) sustained any damage, scuff, etc. They wrapped everything they moved, and we didn't even have to unpack the dresser drawers. It was shrink-wrapped in place and moved intact. I cannot say enough good things about Golden Movers. If you have the opportunity, ask for the team which includes Dupree, Bobby, and Tom...they are truly the best (and don't forget...these guys work hard, so give them a tip, okay?)

Overall the move went very well.
