My windshield had a large crack that was spreading and needed to be replaced. After reading positive reviews, I decided to go with Glass Doctor. My insurance company coordinated everything with them so there was no cost to me at the time of service. Scheduling was a breeze--they were able to come out as early as the next day. The technician called the morning of service to let me know he would arrive in about 20 minutes. He arrived exactly when he said he would. Repair was completed within 45 minutes, just like he promised. Quality of the new windshield and quality of the work done was excellent. Would definitely use them again in the future.

They were awesome! First of all, it was hard to find someone to repair my windows, instead of replacing them, which would've cost over double. Someone suggested Glass Doctor, and I'm so glad they did. They were on time every time we met. There was very good communication throughout the entire process. I am 100 percent satisfied with Glass Doctor and recommend Warren as an installer. He even helped me out personally - my car wouldn't start and he was already at my house so he did the work while no one was there (I had a lock box) and he even signed for my couch delivery and tried to help me with my car over the phone. If I ever need window work again, I will call Glass Doctor.

One for measuring then approximately 10 days later for installation. All went well. I would, however, shop around more and get several estimates before enlisting a specific vendor.

They travel to where your car is located and perform the installation professionally and quickly. Dealing with Gina and AJ from the Glass Doctor was the best best I've ever had from any company. Gina gave me her cell number and even answered my questions late evenings and in the weekend even when she wasn't working. AJ came out the glass in my door and even cleaned the glass to my other door. This was priceless. Both deserve an award for most valuable employee. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

My experience with Glass Doctor of Tampa Bay was outstanding. From the very first phone call until the service was done. I was calling around and checking prices to have these two windshields replaced, and I definitely found some cheaper places, but I was a bit gun shy to go with the lesser-known providers because I was worried about the quality of the glass they would use. Thanks to advice from my auto mechanic, I was sure to ask each provider if they used "OEM quality glass" (which means, essentially, that they use glass that meets the auto maker's standard -- that is, glass that is the same quality as the original glass). Most of the cheaper providers would never come right out and say "yes" to that question, they'd only say "we use good glass". So, based on their reputation and their ratings here on Angie's List, I called Glass Doctor. They were terrific. They answered my OEM glass question directly, telling me that yes, they use only glass that meets or exceeds the original manufacturer's specifications. With my questions answered, my telephone advisor (Selena) offered me a $100 discount since I was having two windshields done at once and I was paying out of pocket. Instead of $560 for the pair, she offered me $230 each. I agreed, and she was ready to send the technician out to my house that very day! Unfortunately, I wasn't quite ready, so I scheduled the service for the next week at a time when I knew both cars would be at home. When the scheduled day arrived the technician called us about half an hour before he was about to arrive. He showed up right on time and got right to work and replaced both windshields inside of an hour and fifteen minutes for BOTH. He was super nice, did a really great job, and the quality of the glass is obviously very, very good. We couldn't be happier, and we would tell anyone who needs a windshield replaced: beware the low-cost providers. With Glass Doctor we knew what to expect going in and we were thrilled with the results.

After Glass Doctor had mistakenly ordered a low-e replacement, they graciously returned the product and installed the clear-glass window I had originally requested. The employee who measured and installed the new 1/2-window was knowledgeable, cheerful, diligent, and professional!

Glass Doctor representative assisted in filing the claim with our insurance carrier and our request for OEM replacement. An appointment was made for the installer to meet us. He called when enroute and showed up on time. The installer was very professional and worked quickly to replace the windshield on our Toyota Tundra. All went well.

The two installers, A,J, and Matt were very experienced and professional. Was not an easy frameless glass enclosure install because of the different angles involved. End result was fantastic.

After calling other glass companies, Glass Doctor was the only company able to respond within 24hrs. Matt called the morning of scheduled service to keep me posted on his arrival time. He was professional, courteous and did outstanding work. A++++++++

We had a broken window pane in the master bedroom. It had a quarter sized hole in it (thanks to a landscaper kicking up a rock) that we were able to temporarily repair with shipping tape. I had reviewed or contacted two other A Rated companies and one had a higher price while the other could not come out for another two weeks. Glass Doctor came out the next day. Matt called me and kept me a\ware of when he would be at out home. He did an excellent professional job and I am very happy with how the work was done. Both my sons are glaziers up north and they told me the right way that the job should be done. Matt's workmanship was textbook as was the result. If you need glass repairs done right, I highly recommend Glass Doctor and Matt.

She was thorough and friendly and made all the calls needed to get the authorization from the insurance company. she had to make several calls due to the insurance company not having everything available and making sure I did not have to do any of that.. When I originally e-mailed request for an appointment, I received a phone call less than half an hour later on a Sunday, which was totally unexpected. I was told I would get a call on Monday to schedule the work and give me an estimate, which I actually got. All the staff I worked with were great, promptly returning calls and promptly arriving for scheduled appointments. Berny did the measurements and final installation and did a wonderful job. Very professional and friendly - really took the time to make sure it was perfect! I am very pleased and would not hesitate to refer Glass Doctor to anyone. I will certainly use them again.

Wonderful job! We had Warren for both the estimate and installation. He was on time and very professional. He did a great job with the installation since it involved angled corners. Look beautiful! There was another company that was a little cheaper but my husband and I really liked dealing with Glass Doctor and Warren. They seemed more knowledgeable. Warren measured the job in one visit which made for less turn around time. The others wanted to remove the old shower enclosure and come back to do a second measurement and then order the glass for a total of three visits. Glass Doctor did it in two visits which really clinched it for us. The B grade for price was because they were about $100.00 mor expensive than the others. Overall, GREAT JOB and kudos to Warren!

Our most recent undertaking was a bathroom renovation and they have measured and installed brand new CUSTOM SHOWER DOORS with an oil rubbed bronze finish. They took several calls from me to answer the MANY questions I had about the process, install, materials, enduroshield (you have to ask about enduro sheild!!). When the installer came out, he measured a very unique space we had custom build with custom sizes and cuts, he listened to every detail and they looked AMAZING. In the past, We replaced about 5 broken windows in our home (with kids they slowly accumulated) our small garage window, office window, daughters bedroom, kitchen, and one other. The installer then followed me to a clients house to replace their broken window. As a Real Estate Agent in Tampa, I have called them in the past for clients to replace windows and they were Johnny on the spot and delivered a great product at a good price. Everyone there has always been so nice, helpful, and nothing short of amazing. They made a custom piece of glass for my office desk (conference table size). Any "glass job" big or small call these guys first, they will hook you up! Katrina

All it took was one quick phone call and I was on the schedule the very next day. The technician came to my office and finished the job while I was working. They used OEM Glass with "Super Duty" along the visor and it looks great and would not know that it was a replacement. If you have any Glass needs, call the Glass Doctor!

Warren put himself out to accommodate our schedule. He was very professional and very neat about his work. He explained in detail what he was going to do and made sure we were happy with everything. He was very pleasant and we would not hesitate to use this company again in the future.

The technicians we extremely professional but the overall experience was awful. I had to have the windshield replaced in both my car and truck at the same time and because of work I had to schedule the work on Saturday. On the first visit the truck went fine but then when they went to do the car the molding around the windshield was different so they had order another one and I had to waste another Saturday to have it done. And so after having to waste 2 Saturdays to have the windshields replaced, two weeks later a pebble hit the windshield below the wiper blade of my truck and caused a crack about 6 inches up the center which meant I had to replace it again and since I had already dealt Glass Doctor I decided to use them again and scheduled the appointment for another Saturday. So when they called at 7:30 and said they would be over after finishing another job I stayed at the house and cancelled an appointment that I had at 8:00 so I wouldn't miss them. At 9:30 when they showed up I was notified that the windshield they had brought had several scratches in it and that they were going to have to order another one, which means wasting another Saturday. At that point I decided I am done with Glass Doctor and wish them good luck in the future. Maybe this is just my personal karma but enough is enough.
