Description of Work: We came home about 8:00 p.m. to a shattered sliding glass door. And not sure what to do we checked Angie's list and saw great reviews for The Glass Doctor. We called the glass doctor and they offered to come out after hours that evening, they have someone on call at all times, to check out the damage and replace the glass. We decided to wait until the following day since we had already tapped up the opening. We were called by 8:00 the next morning scheduling our repair and the service person was at our home by 11:00 and repairs completed by about noon. They quickly replaced the glass door and cleaned up the remainder of the broken glass. We were so impressed by their customer service and professionalism. Although, we hope not to need emergency glass repair again any time soon, should the need arise glass they will be who we call.

Description of Work: The company wasn't able to do the work I needed, but they were kind enough to recommend someone that could do the work. Their guy did a great job.

Description of Work: Glass doctor's communication was very efficient. Unfortunately their estimate was about $300 for the replacement of 2 window panes, I had 2 other estimates of $150 & $170 . I went with the least expensive estimate.

Description of Work: Several years ago, I had my bathroom redone, removing the tub and having a shower with a built-in bench installed. While the shower looks great, I always had water on the floor after use because there was no place for the bottom of the shower curtain inside the shower. I decided I needed to install a glass door. I used The Glass Doctor because I had used them once before to make a replacement glass shelf for my china cabinet and was happy with their work. I had a consultation with a rep where we discussed the details of the door and the fact that my wall was not quite straight and measurements were taken. I was quoted a price and accepted even though I thought it was rather high. This may be an unfair assessment because I failed to get any other quotes. After a couple of weeks, the door was installed. It looks great! |It has been in for about 5 months now and I have NEVER had any streaking. I am very pleased.

My insurance carrier, Geico, recommended Safelite with an Angie's List rating of B but since Glass Doctor (GD) had a rating of A I selected them. |GD arranged a 3 way telephone talk with Geico, GD and myself. Everything was arranged within 5 minutes and the glass was replaced a few days later. |I'm retired and like to sleep late so I arranged for GD to repair the glass without my attendance by leaving it parked, unlocked, in my driveway. |The entire process was perfect without a problem. Thanks Glass Doctor (and Geico).

Description of Work: I had a leaky windshield. The Glass Doctor was able to trace the leak to a faulty drain in the sun roof which was repaired by tan auto mechanic at no charge.
