 + -1 moreFirst time using geek squad and not very techi myself. Needed someone with patience. Not only did I need help but really did not even know what questions to ask about why things were not working. My computer was freezing, my laser printer stopped working completely and in the past no one from other places ever suggested to install backup even though I had said I had a computer crash in the past. I got excellent service and by the time we were done everything was working and I understood how to keep it that way. Great!
Description of Work: Computer cleanup and help with incorporating new electronics.

 + -1 moreThe only thing I don't like is when he put in the home theater system and when I put in the home theater system sometimes they don't have enough volume especially when you're watching certain TV channels. They are a little pricey.

 + -1 moreHad an appointment. Arrived a little early (about 10 min). Ended up waiting for almost an hour to be seen. Had a computer crash. Employee acted like he just didn't care. Asked about analysis to determine problem. Said had to ship it off and it would take about a week or so to determine problem. Said I had to pay $35 and if I chose not to have the work done, I lost the $. If I did it would be applied to the bill. What a rip off. Went to a computer store down the street and they did the analysis for free. I ended up buying a new computer from them. It took all of about a total of 30 minutes. I will never use them for any service in the future.

 + -1 moreThe Geek Squad at the Wesley Chapel Best Buy has done well by me. Granted, I pay for the contract each year, but when I take my stuff in, there are no questions asked. They take it, they fix it, give it back, and they do a good job. I give them kudos. It's a $189 contract for the year, and it's unlimited service. It's not cheap but it's worth it for me. I had one difficulty one time where the processor seemed to run slower after they gave it back, so I ran it back up there, but they fixed it right away. I would give an A- for quality if I could for that. Otherwise they are friendly, professional and timely.
Description of Work: Every time my computer gets infected, I take it in to the Geek Squad at the Wesley Chapel Best Buy and they clean it up. The last time I had my computer fixed was about 6 months ago.

 + -1 moreI was having a problem with my printer working and the guy came out, fixed it and it worked maybe three or four times and then it quit working. I called them and they came out. They didn't charge me for that visit. I really appreciate it. They came out when they said they did. They were on time. They're very good and professional.

 + -1 moreHe took his time to make sure I knew how to use my home theater. He even went over whta the cable company explained. He really did not a great job explaining everything. He was really patient and took his time. He was phenomenal. He is the kind of person you want to come out to the house. He really knew his stuff and I am extremely happy.

 + -1 moreThis was a nice experience. We did have to wait a little bit for them to say they couldn't get the part, but everything else was good. We did have to pay for an extended warranty on our new one which is a very nice TV.
Description of Work: We purchased a Sony with an extended warranty. It went out and they came out and looked at it, but were unable to fix it. It was an older TV. We were able to get a new one in it's place.

 + -1 moreThe service man was astounded it was taking so long for this repair until I explained the circumstances to him. He was very friendly and courteous.
Description of Work: The only good thing about this is, I purchased a service contract when buying the TV. The TV failed to come on after 2 1/2 years of service. Contacted Best Buy and they scheduled a repair man into my house. He came, said he would have to order parts which he did. Parts were shipped to me after four days. Then Best Buy had to schedule a service man in again. Took another four days. The TV failed again 15 minutes after he left my house. Called Best Buy again. They scheduled service man again. He did not show up on schedule. Called Best Buy again, they said service man took a personal day off and they would have to reschedule me again. Five days later, he came and needed to order more parts that did not come with the first shipment of parts. It will take another five days for parts to arrive, then I have to call for the service man again. Another three to four days. The end result was that in over thirty days will have elapsed with no guarantee the TV will be working. A real circle jerk.
