Florida Enclosures By Steve

I received a response to my e-mail right away. Greg called me and set up an appointment to come out and give me an estimate that week. Greg was very professional and gave me great advice. He e-mailed the estimate to me within days and even called to make sure I got it. I did not choose this company to do the work for me, but it was an extremely difficult decision. I would highly recommend this company based on the experience that I had.

It went just as one would hope. It's hard to find great companies that do what they say they'll do....and better than was expected.

It was wonderful. Steve was very personable and nice. He was very professional and proficient. Everything with the enclosure is up to date and within code. His pricing was great. I would recommend him to others!! He really impressed me and was very hard working. All of my questions were answered and he was very easy to talk to. When the work was performed, Steve had to deal with some rain/storm issues, but managed to get the project complete in 3 days. Florida weather is unpredictable.

They arrived on time for the job. They had to wait to start the work due to the roofers already working. They did whatever I asked them to do. They informed me what needed to be changed. They were very nice. They also suggested additional work that needed to be done but they did not charge me for it.

Steve was professional and responsive and the outcome was super.

As the old saying goes, "can't complain about the service, there wasn't any."

No service performed. Called at least 4 times and Steve did not return my calls. I later received a call from someone that work for Steve to schedule an appointment and give me a quote. He came the following week and took some measurements and said to me that he will have my quote within two days. It has been a week and I have not received a call. The guy did not even give me a business card. Since then, I have gotten 5 other quotes from Aluminum Craftsmen, AAA Services, Tropicana, etc. All stop by, left their cards, gave written request within 2 days. Don't use this company!

I was really hoping to get a quote from this company, having read the great reviews from Angie's List. Although I had thought of trying to call him back, instead I've called others for quotes.

I called them twice to have someone come out for estimates. They were very cordial over the phone and promised to come out within a day or so. No one ever came to the house or called back. I excused the first time as people get busy, messages get lost, etc. After the second time I gave up on them and went with someone else.

Steve was extremely personable and went the extra mile to make sure all his work met my satisfaction. He takes a great deal of pride in his craft. He handled a few extra items for me that he noticed while on the job. I would definitely use Steve again for future work!

He did this in a very friendly and professional manner.

They were punctual and took care of the job in one day. They were helpful and Steve was very professional. I don't remember the cost. I will be hiring them again soon.

They arrived that afternoon and did the repair without me even knowing they were there. The work was performed quickly and was great quality. I would definitely call them again!

Measurements were taken. They were supposed to call me or e-mail me with estimates. They never did. I called them again and left a message. They never returned my call.

Steve called me the day I left a message on his voice mail and sent an employee that day do do an estimate. It took a few days to get out and get started, as he was having some labor problems. He kept me informed by phone as to why he was not able to come as scheduled. Steve came and did the job himself in one day and the pool area looks wonderful. He did an excellent job (even cleaned out a gutter downspout), cleaned up after himself and did exactly what he said he would do. Even if you have to wait a few days for him to get to you, it is WELL WORTH THE WAIT!

Greg came out and wrote the estimate, Steve followed up with a phone call and I gave them the job. Steve's strong work ethic and pride in his company was evident in the phone call. The work did get off to a slow start, but I called Steve's office and he came right out and got things moving very well. I am very pleased with the quality of the work and tremendously impressed by Steve, he stands behind his business and makes things right for the customer. The customer service provided by Steve, his sister Sherrie (spelling?) and Greg was above the best.

STEVE CAME OUT AND HE DID THE MEASURING AND HE PROMISED AN ESTIMATE AND HE NEVER GOT BACK. I CALLED HIM AND HE TOLD ME THAT HE WAS GOING TO BRING OUT THE ESTIMATE AND HE NEVER DID. I THEN CALLED HIM AGAIN AND HE NEVER CALLED BACK.

Steve was great to work with. Over the phone, he gave me the estimated cost to replace the panels, which was nice as it saved me from taking additional time off work. Based on the cost they seemed very comparable to the other calls that I made. He and his crew showed up on the day that I had requested. I had replaced a few other panels with another company a few years ago and I couldnt get the guys to show up when they promised. Florida Enclosures fixed the panels that I requested and the they look brand new. They cleaned up after their work and it looks great. He and his crew were pleasant to work with and they both seemed to like the work that they were doing - which to me means they probably do a better job. Steve also pointed out another issue with the enclosure that I will fix myself. I would definitely recommend Florida Enclosures by Steve. This is my 2nd contractor that I've selected using Angie's List and I'm 2 for 2.

Greg called to set up an appointment the day after I e-mailed the company. He came to look at my screened enclosure to see what work needed to be done the next afternoon. He also found a significant problem that a previous wind risk inspection had not detected. I was provided with an estimate within a day or two and work began several days later. Steve did an excellent job and explained how the additional bracing and cabling was designed to help in case of strong winds. I requested replacing fluted posts on the lanai with structural posts. This company was very prompt in responding to my request for an estimate and also moved quickly to get the job done. They were quite professional and left the work area very clean. I highly recommend this company. (NOTE: Before contacting Florida Enclosures I had contacted several other companies. One called back and said I would be contacted later but I never was. Florida Enclosures always did exactly what they said they would do.)

We needed to complete the work within a week. He came out, gave us the estimate and completed it within the stipulated time frame. The work was done in a clean and organized manner. Mr. Voss was very courteous and kind. We highly recommend him and would hire him again.

Excellent experience, particularly in contrast to the negative experience we were having with the pool resurfacing people who were performing work for us at the same time. Steve provided a detailed breakdown of the work to be performed and did what he promised. He and his team were very professional with no loud music or foul language. Steve cleaned up everything and did all the little things you expect when you hire a contractor with good ratings in Angie's List. They showed up when they said they would and worked through until the job was completed. We strongly recommend Steve for any screening job you might have including new installations and structural modifications.

Having used many contractors over the past 5 years for remodeling, etc, I have learned by error which one was excellent. We will use Steve on the re-screening of the pool cage next year. Florida Enclosures By Steve is one who will be added to my list of great contractors. I will recommend his company to everyone who wants a great job on screens, etc. Steve Voss is very professional and his work is perfection. Having used other contractors for small repairs to the pool cage screen, Steve's work is superior. He was perfect from the 1st call to completion. Florida Enclosures By Steve is an excellent, well organized company. I would advise anyone who wants good work completed to use Steve. I promise they will not be disappointed. Keep up the great work Steve and thank you so much for doing a great job.

They did a super job. The owner of the company supervised, and then came out to perform some of the more difficult tasks.

Called for a quote for a complete pool screen replacement and made the appointment for the following week. They showed up on time and gave me a detailed description of the work to be done, the material they would use, and how long the job should take. There was never any pressure to do the job. They were hired. He showed up on time and did the work he said he would. The work was completed in about a day. When the work was finished the surrounding yard and deck area was cleaned up and the trash removed. Yes, they did the job and I would hire them again in a heart beat. They very professional and are geared toward customer satisfaction.
