Florida Enclosures by Steve was recommended to me by a close friend, who had nothing but positive comments to offer reference the work Steve had completed on his property. I was impressed with Steve's professionalism and the way he presented his company when he first visited with my wife and I to disscuss our project, and how he explained in detail how he was going to complete the removal and replacement of what I would call a larger than normal patio and pool enclosure. Throughout the project he kept us informed every step of the way, many times taking time to stop and ask if we had any questions or concerns about the project and the progress he was making. He kept the job-site clean and organized throughout the project, we never had to ask him to pick up or clean anything. Bottom line is that I would reccommend Florida Encllosures by Steve to anyone, he did a great job, for a fair price; which resulted in a new patio/pool enclosure for us to enjoy for years to come.

I used Angie's list to contact seven different highly rated screen enclosure business's in the Tampa area. Steve's price was the best and included replacing all the tap cons and door closer's when the other's didn't. Steve was always on time and finished the job in the time frame quoted. He cleaned up after the job leaving my pool area better than he found it. I have recommended Steve to a friend who has had the same experience. You won't go wrong with this guy!

Contractor offered good advice and several options. Price was the best. Got the job done in one day and it looked great. Even took the furniture off the porch and cleaned it off before putting it back in place. Allowed me to pay by check. Was always polite and responsive. The score 'B' in professionalism came from having to reschedule from our agreed date (he forgot a personal event), never delivered a written bid (we eventually did it on verbal agreement), and charging for the freebie items because he didn't write down what we agreed to by phone. There were some extras that he said he would throw in for free since he had inventory in stock but he ended up charging me for them. I was kind of disappointed at that. He offered to correct the pricing but we had been considering providing a good tip so it all balanced out. In the end, I changed the overall score from B back to A.

I am a repeat customer. Steve does excellent work and I will continue to recommend him to my neighbors.

Steve finished the entire job himself and it looks great. He took the time to go above and beyond. The screens are like drums, with no short cuts. Outstanding work.

There is no story to tell. They never called.

We wanted to have the screening on the bottom part of our lanai replaced with a heavier, "pet-proof " product. We called on 6/9/11 & left a message for Steve to call us to give us a quote. We also called on 6/10/11 & left a similar message. To date (6/14/11) we have yet to receive any response to our messages.

This is the second or third time I've used Steve for screen repair. He's the real deal--does only the work necessary, gives good advice about the screening and metal work, and does it at a fair price. I would definitely use him to replace the entire pool cage if necessary. I had him install a dog door a few years ago. It still works perfectly.

The work was performed by himself along with his brother and they worked methodically and efficiently. Steve returned all our calls usually within a few hours and answered all our questions and concerns. They were on time, very professional, worked over a weekend and cleaned up after themselves. You could see they take pride in their work and doing a good job for their customers was important to them. We are very happy with the outcome and would highly recommend them.

He and his help did a great job and completed on- time. He was very professional and knew what need to be done. He suggested few items and at that point I knew he's a guy that can take care of my pool cage. Thanks for job well done Steve.

Our expericne was excellent. I would have him back for sure. I am a little picky contractors and he is absoutly great.

The agreement on the phone was to replace five damaged screens. When Steve and his brother showed-up, I added on one more panel and they took it upon themselves to fix the screen door. When all was said and done, he only charged me $5 more than the quote for five screens, even though I had added on the extra panel which should have been another $35. I felt like I got a great value and will call him again to fix screens in the future. I called Steve on a Tuesday and booked the work for Wednesday. He arrived as scheduled and worked through the rain. This was a great experience.

One man crew got right to work. Professional, personable, friendly, and does a great job. Cleaned up after, went the extra mile. Takes pride in his work and it shows in his craftsmanship. I have his business cards for referrals if the neighbors ask.

Got 3 bids. Steve was the only contractor that went out of his way to meet me on the property at a time possible for me. Price was in line with other bids. Not only did he do the work he said he would, he reinforced gutters and replaced a side panel. He was straight forward and honest about what needed to be done and did not try to up sell.

I couldn't be happier with his work and recommend him to everyone I know.

Called him at 10:00 a.m. on 2/7. Met him at unit at 11:30 a.m. same day. He was early and already had the measurements. We looked over patio and told him about HOA specs. He showed me what he suggested. Wrote me an estimate. I accepted. He picked up the necessary materials on 2/8 and had it totally installed on 2/9. Looked great. He was pleasant to deal with and didn't try to up sell me just gave me what I asked for. Will definitely use him again on my other rentals and home.

Some of the workmanship after a couple of months wasn't very good. The guy was very nice, prompt, and it could have been some bad weather that damaged the screen, but it still shouldn't have came loose.

When Steve came to do the estimate he took some time to talk to us about how to judge which repairs needed to be done at that time. He gave us information about the choices of materials and what to consider in choosing them. He was professional and well informed. We had a delay in getting started with the work because not having insurance papers on hand. After that was resolved, he showed up as planned and put in a long day to get the work done. The only problem was being short 2-3 tapcons. He did a good clean-up after finishing. The new screens look good.

Set appointment with Steve earlier in week. A good guy in business and I would recommend him to anyone. If you want a fair guy who does good job, than call Steve.

Received quotes from many of the Angies List "A" rated screen repair folks for my area. Made sure that all were quoting the same work with the same product. Quotes went up to $3200, Steve was the least expensive. They showed up on-time and the final work was outstanding, can't believe how perfect each panel is.

Called Steve, had an appt. for an estimate on a sunroom and he never showed up. We called to reschedule and he never showed up or called the second time.
