+ 0 moreSteve and his guys did an outstanding job. They were courteous, but best of all, they were very conscientious about the quality of work and pleasing us - which is hard to find these days! After the job was completed, Steve himself spent close to an hour fishing out screws and other debris that had inadvertently fallen into the pool. I would recommend them to anyone for their professionalism and service.
Description of Work: During a re-roofing project, a substantial amount of wood facia had to be replaced. Our pool cage had to be unattached and stabilized until the wood work could be finished. Upon completion, they installed new (larger) guttering and reattached the screening.

+ 0 moreI'm in shock with what happened with us and Steve because I had researched his company and read all the Angie's List reports. On Feb. 14 I called the county and found out our permit had been rejected on Feb. 12. We then called Greg again and told him we wanted our deposit returned until the permit was issued. That night, when we got home, Steve was there with the refund check. Unfortunately, he was very upset with us and said we were too "impatient". I kept telling him that the only problem I had was that no one had called us to let us know what was going on and we were concerned about our $5880 deposit, especially with all the scams that happen in Florida. He got more and more upset and when we asked him if he still wanted to do the job, he said no. With that, we took the refund check and he left. I believe Steve would have done a good job and my husband and I were both surprised at his reaction to our request.
Description of Work: We signed the contract and gave a $5,880 deposit on Jan. 25 to have our entire flat-roof screen enclosure replaced with a gable-roof enclosure. In addition, we were going to extend our patio and add a small roof over one area. On Jan. 29 Greg told me because it was Pinellas County and not Dunedin it would be 3-5 days to get the permit. We waited but when we didn't hear from anyone from Florida Enclosures for the next week and a half we started to get concerned about our $5880 deposit check which had cleared our bank on Feb. 1. Finally on Feb. 7 I called and talked to Greg who didn't know anything about the permit. He said he would call the county and find out. He called me back to say the aluminum inspector at the county had been out sick for a week and all the permits were backed up. I told him at that time it would have been helpful if Greg or Steve had called us to let us know the status since they had almost $6000 of our money.

+ -1 morePorch had large screens that needed replacing. One screen installed by helper wasn't perfect so Steve removed and redid. I'd noticed screen wasn't tight but hadn't talked to Steve about it yet. Very good to have work perfected without having to ask.

+ 1 moreThe experience with this company could not have been better. These folks take pride in their work and the owner, Steve Voss, is a perfectionist. His foreman, Greg, is a top man. They both seem to really care about the work they do, kinda rare these days! Price was very good (I shopped this job around). Steve's crew was a no-nonsense, get the job done crew. They are craftsman. Neat, polite, on time. Can't say enough about this company. I have waited over a month to write this report. I wantd to see how it held up as far as leaks go and so on. Ee've had a LOT of heavy rain since it went up. No leaks. Not one drop. Everything is as is should be! TIP: the insulated roof is worth the money. A neighbor has an uninsulated screen room and ours is cooler by at least 20 degrees on a hot day, perhaps more. I found these guys through Angie's List. They were the top rated in our area AND had the best price. So glad we chose them!
Description of Work: Built a screened addition to our home. 15'L X 10' W with insulated roof. They were great in the discussion phase, worked with us on the price and dealt with acquiring the proper city (Tampa) permits.

+ 2 moreThis project ended up being the best contractor job I've ever experienced. The addition flows so well with the existing screen room, you wouldn't know it was never there! The customer came first and they were extremely professional. They will be the first I call if I ever need anything built again.
Description of Work: Build onto existing screen room over pool to add an additional 10x20 covered space. Work Performed, Concrete slab, relocate electrical for pool light and pipe for future fiber optics. Re-screen existing approx 20x40 screen room.

They made up for the lost time by working steadily for two days until the job was done. They did a great job on our large screened-in pool area. Steve himself came to help on the last day and got all the details completed. They were neat and kept on the job. I would definitely recommend.

He did more work than we had talked about and did not charge extra. Quality of work was very good, and I was very happy with the work that was done and would highly recommend.

The work was started the following Monday and completed in just over two days! The work is excellent, the workers were very nice, and they cleaned up all when done. Based on our experience, you'd be crazy NOT to hire these folks! It looks GREAT out there around our pool now!!
Description of Work: They took down old screen enclosure and rebuilt it by using the same footprint but raising the height and improving where there was a flat screen area. This included ''super gutters'' (5'' gutters instead of current 4'').

Description of Work: HE TOOK DOWN TWO SIDES OF A TWO STORY CAGE, SO WE COULD HAVE FOUNDATION WORK DONE, REINSTALLED THEM, REPLACED THE SCREWS AND SPRAYED THEM WITH A PROTECTIVE PAINT. I HAD THEM USE STAINLESS STEEL SCREWS AND THEY REPLACED ALL OF THE SCREEN ON IT.
