Flooring America

Eric was great. He put in my floors. I even asked him to come back and assemble some furniture for me and he would, after working a whole day installing hardwood floors. Flooring America is a wonderful company and they are on time, their product is superior. The salesperson I spoke with was great. And you could tell the people wanted to work there.

The salesperson, Harry was very polite and a good salesperson. My complaint is the installation process. The vinyl had a sticky residue left on it and it was cleaned up the next day. It has a gap that still has been unfixed. The carpet was installed two days after the vinyl was done. The carpet has a noticeable seam right down the middle of the family room. It is not tacked down on the end by the sliding glass window. The carpet was supposed to have a gold bar that is used to bridge between the vinyl and carpet. The installer argued with me about it and then begrudingly installed it. Rather than cut the piece professionally, he bent it in half leaving jagged edges. When the carpet was laid, there were several dings where paint was removed on my freshly painted baseboards and paint was scuffed when my furniture was moved back into the rooms. The painting has been addressed, but no guarantee was given to finish with the remaining items before July 3rd before my mom moved in.

The first guy who came didn't do a very good job. Then they sent in a better guy & he fixed everything. The only problem was that I had to put up with waiting. He did a super job, it just took while to get it done. They also did 2 extra jobs to make up for the mistake.
