Description of Work: They repainted the whole exterior of the house.

Description of Work: Removed old decrepit tub, removed surrounding walls, and remodeled into a stand up shower. The owner, Hector, had many good suggestions for remodeling the above. Was very punctual and friendly for estimate. He's not a big paperwork guy - gave a verbal proposal but didn't seen to want to submit a written proposal until I seemed more serious about the job. I removed the tub and walls myself to save money, and I provided or paid for the tiles, fixtures and plumbing work separately. Originally he gave an over optimistic completion time, but I wasn't too worried about it, because I figured it would take longer - so be it. It wound up taking four days rather than two for his men to complete the job. He seemed to be pulling people off for other jobs - which is not unheard of by contractors. But there was always one tradesman always on my small job at all times. The only thing that may have been an issue was that the tile mason who remained on the job most of the time was a second stringer. Additionally, a wet tile saw machine did not show up until the last day. (I think it was being used for a bigger job). So between the A lister tileman being pulled off the job, and hand cuts, there were some flaws. When the "A Lister" showed up on day three, he fixed without complaining the flaws that were pointed out. All of the employees were extrememly courteous, and professional. They cleaned up everyday afterwards. All in all, I would rate the price as A Plus, and quality as B+. If you want a perfect, flawless job, you're going to pay much, much more. Hector also fixed a few broken tiles around my home at a very nominal fee. He's very reasonable on price, and is an extremelly gregarious, honest, friendly person.
