Not the cheapest estimate I got but I now know I made the right decision. FAS was the third company to give me an estimate. I had already done quite a bit of research and was looking out for key things and had questions. I did not expect to make the decision when Dan, the sales rep was here but I was very impressed with his answers and knowledge so I signed the contract that day. I had also seen that they had overall good ratings on all of the major websites. The next step was Jason, the lead installer to come make final measurements and place the order for my windows. From the time I signed the contract to the time the windows were installed it was just under 2 months. During that time Laura and Elizabeth in the office kept in touch and when the windows came in, scheduled the installation. Keeping with my experience thus far, the installation crew showed up right on time as promised. Greco, Rafael and Victor could not have been more professional and courteous and helped to make what I thought would be a very stressful day, a pleasant experience. They completely cleaned up everything, put everything back exactly as it was and even rehung the curtains and blinds. The windows look amazing. I highly recommend FAS Windows and Doors and the CWS hurricane windows they installed. They were not the cheapest but they were also not the most expensive. Don't always just go with the least expensive. I'm sure glad I didn't.

I would highly recommend this Company to others. They have wonderful products and their customer service is off the charts! When I am ready to have my job completed will be sure to give them a call.

FAS Windows and Doors recently installed 12 windows and 3 doors in our home and did a wonderful job! The product is top notch and the installation was very well done! Products and installation took a little longer due to the demand of Hurricane Irma, but the quality of the windows and installation is superior. I would definitely recommend them.

My experience was very disappointing. We had two sets of doors (4 panels per)...installed for $16,000. They were to be inspected by the City of Gulfport before being sealed (clearly stated in the instructions). But they sealed them to where the inspector couldn't see how they were installed. Turns out, they failed the inspection, and had to replace all the screws. But now, the molding around looks like crap (because they used the same molding). And then the screens weren't the right size. After months of waiting, we still don't have the screens. I will not recommend them.

The price was a couple thousand lower than the contractor I went with but I received detailed dimensions and drawings of windows I would be receiving. I did not get a detailed estimate (just a price for cash/credit card or credit so was a little uncomfortable with what I was receiving. I was having two sliding doors replaced with windows and the other company could do in one continuous piece for each door and wasn't able to get that with FAS. Otherwise I was very satisfied with the experience.

Fter several missed calls and reschedules, salesman agreed to meet me at FAS show room on a Saturday after I go done with work. He was a no-show. Calls went unanswered to the Saleman, even though 2 hours earlier, the central scheduling person said he would be there. I lost time waiting for this irresponsible salesman; he lost a $3500 sale

The bedroom windows were done beautifully, with no complications. The front window was installed by a subcontractor, and initially did not pass inspection. There were not enough screws (or anchors) to meet current hurricane code. The FAS owner sent his own men to correct the error very quickly, which subsequently passed inspection. The workmen were very professional, polite, and did a beautiful job! FAS response to our needs was impressive.

I met at a home show, and was interested in replacing my windows and doors in a home I just purchased. I liked them so made an appointment. They emailed me a reminder and I confirmed appointment. The salesman Dan did not show up for the appointment, or call to reschedule. I texted him telling him he was a half hour late and asking how much later he was going to be. His response was “ I can have the office call you back to reschedule” Not I’m so sorry, or something came up, just simply offered to reschedule. When I said no thank you his response was “ok”. I don’t understand that if the company is working SO HARD to work a home show, why they would be so cavalier as to blow me off without a care.

Choosing a window and an installer turned out to be a much more challenging task than I anticipated. I learned there are some sales people out there that will take advantage of a buyer's ignorance and trust. FAS is not one of them. Dan came out to my house with (very short notice) and gave me a fair, honest, and great quote for some nice Simonton windows and door. My advice to anyone in the market would be to have FAS on the short list of folks to talk to. They won't waste your time like some other companies I met with.

On June 27, 2014, my wife and I entered into an agreement with FAS company to purchase and have installed thirty-four (34) windows and five (5) doors at our home. The total transaction fee was quoted at $36,942 and we placed $18,471 down as a deposit. Fifteen (15) months later, and the final parts were just now delivered. We were told over and over again when we gave FAS nearly twenty-thousand dollars that this was a ?6-8 week job?. Through a series of inexplicable mishaps on FAS? end, we had: Multiple and routine delays from month 1, mostly without explanation Misrepresentations, misleading, and fraudulent sales practices Undelivered promises followed up by routine periods of no communication from FAS employees for weeks and sometimes for months at a time with no updates to us Lack of timely returned calls, oftentimes after us making multiple calls to multiple FAS people Six (6) different installation visits to our home Incorrect windows and doors delivered and/or installed; not just once, but three times (3x) Shoddy installation of the large kitchen window which included FAS using a box cutter to artificially cut the sashes in order to make the window fit into the standard window sill. The insulation and other materials can be seen leaking out of the four corners of the most viewed window in our entire home (see photos). The company?s literature and website espouses its stellar reputation and customer testimonials. That certainly has not been our experience. Quite the contrary, we are now unfortunately needing to seek legal relief as the CEO of FAS has sent us a final invoice even though we have refused to sign off on the 100% Satisfaction Guarantee certificate. Incidentally, the independent installers have been fantastic and have provided high quality work. The CEO blames the sales person and the window manufacturer for our problems. I strongly advise you go elsewhere and save your time, money, and peace of mind. Do not choose FAS.

Several of the sliding doors were repeatedly delivered with scratched glass thus requiring replacement and delays in completion. Project was begun in October 2013 and not completed until July 2014. Caulking around some of the windows was amateurish. FAS failed to provide required information to Duke Energy to obtain rebate and we therefore lost the opportunity to apply.

They were very good. They only thing they could improve on, is the fact that they left broken glass in some of the rooms, which can be very dangerous because I have grandkids that come over. Other than that, they were very good.

We went with another company who provided us with excellent service.

We saw FAS at the home show in July 2014 and really liked their product. We chose them not only because of the product quality but because they were Angie's List approved. We were looking to replace the two patio doors, but ended up having the other doors replaced also. We signed the contract in August and were told it would be about 6 weeks. When they brought the doors, the front door was made wrong. It swung out rather than in. We moved here from the north recently and we had never heard of a front door swinging out, but we were told because of hurricanes, they have to swing out if you are in a certain zone, which we are not. They put the patio doors in and left the pieces, along with a screen on our pool deck until the inspector could come out and inspect it, and they ordered another door and put a rush on it. The so called rush took longer than the original door. No one came and inspected the work they had already done and the pieces sat on the deck. Our alarm system had to be disengaged to put the new doors in and we have wires hanging out of the doors. Finally in December, the replacement door came in and it was wrong again. This time it was made to swing in, but was too long, so they had to order a 3rd one. We still have half-finished patio doors and an unuseable alarm system we are still paying for. We are not ones to raise a fuss and complain, but this was getting ridiculous. When my husband called the project manager, he didn't return his call. When I wrote a complaint on the company website, he did call us and say he didn't have any news and that was why he wasn't making contact and that he would see about some sort of compensation for this debackle. Finally, six months later from when we originally ordered the doors, the front door is finally in and gets installed. The installer finishes up the patio doors and notices that the screen door that has been sitting on my deck for 6 months is the wrong one and doesn't fit our doors and they have to get the right one! When the installer left, he handed my husband a bill with the balance due. I am amazed that any company would expect full payment for a job that isn't totally finished, and that no one has tried to make any contact with us or offer any type of discount for all of the screw ups we've had to deal with. So now they have our money and already cashed our check and the job stil l isn't done. I would not recommend this company and am sorry we ever chose them. It has been a very frustrating experience.

They did a fine job. The left little pieces of broken glass shards on the ground which they didn’t cleanup. They got the windows installed in 2 days. The installers were very professional.

I am now taking bids from their competitors.

* UPDATE TO THE BELOW * After posting this review the owner contacted me, apologized, and took direct action in getting the remaining issues resolved. I've raised my overall rating to a "C" * UPDATE TO THE BELOW * I've used FAS twice - once in my prior house, where everything went like a charm, including the sales experience, which was distinctive from the others companies we had bid in that the salesman (Rod) was friendly, engaging, flexible, and did not pressure us at all. Based on that experience we didn't even look elsewhere for some windows on our current house. Again the sales experience was pleasant, but this time the end result was not. The crew shattered the old windows taking them out and did not adequately clean up. They left with a significant amount of broken glass in on my patio and in my yard, in addition to screws on the floors inside the house. I called regarding this and the exterior caulking (which looked really sloppy) and they sent someone out immediately to clean up. They indicated they would send someone to re caulk it before the inspection. That took over a month, despite repeated follow ups on my part. Even worse is that an interior trim piece is still missing, and despite two phone calls and an email with their production supervisor who told me they would take care of it immediately, this is still unresolved after two weeks (and I've not heard from them in over a week). These windows were ordered in late January. I was told they would take ?about a month.? It took two months before they were in, delaying other work that was contingent on them. It?s now almost 5 months later from we made the purchase and the work is still not complete. Don?t let any window company fool you ? the products they sell are really not that distinctive, and most of them sell the same window lines from the same manufacturers. In the end it?s theservice and customer experience that matters, and FAS really dropped the ball on this one. I would not use them again, nor recommend them to anyone.

We have had wonderful experience with them. They were not cheap. I would recommend them highly and tell people to use them. They were super from start to finish.

They're excellent. They did a fine job, just not the most professional looking guys.

We shopped around, and we saw them at the home show. We had a lot of places come over and give us estimates, and it seemed like they had the most competitive prices. They later gave us a new window for the window which we were not satisfied with. We got hurricane impact windows, and we didn't get them all because they are expensive, so we will use them again, because we started with them.

My experience was excellent. They were great. The price was very reasonable. They came out to the measurements. They were very personable. They have an excellent showroom. The staff personnel were great. I have referred them to other people. I think they did the windows on my daughter's house.

I think they did a good job. I had to call back because they had installed one window that wasn't installed right and when they came back to replace, they had to replaced it three times before it got right, but they stuck with it and made it right. I'm pretty happy with it.

Terrible! We ordered a door in January, they measured three different times and we had three or four different dates when that was supposed to be installed and we are coming up on June and it is still not installed. It came in just about two or three weeks ago and they put it in and they said they had wrong sized doors. This is after measuring three or four times, so they put in a temporary door in one of the doors and the other one is still not done. One of them is temporary and the other one is not done and they had to reorder the windows and they are supposed to be delivered in the next week or two. They just lied about when they were going to put it in, when we ordered it in January in the home show they said it was going to be two or three weeks. Then two or three weeks later they sent a guy out to measure and he said it was going to be two or three weeks and they sent another guy after measuring and he said it would be two or three weeks. Then they came again two days before the doors would be here and then they measured again and then they brought in the doors and they put them in and they said, all these don't fit, we have to order another one. They said that they had people who quit and they had all kinds of issues, but the bottom line is it is pitiful. Our living room is all torn up, there is furniture everywhere because they have to move everything away from the windows to get them in and we've been living in chaos.

I had a very good experience. It was a very legitimate price for the quality that I got. They came, cleaned up and did everything they were supposed to do. They were there doing the work they were supposed to do and they did it expeditiously, cleaned up afterwards and I didn't even have to sweep my floors.

It was a positive experience. They cracked one of our marble sills. They came right out and fixed it. These are really nice windows. We're doing 25% a year and we're almost done. They delivered what they said they're going to deliver. We're very happy with the windows and how they were installed. The two problems we had, they fixed it very quickly. Their price was average. They're really nice windows.
