Yesterday, I noticed that my air conditioner was not blowing cold air. The fan was working, but the compressor wouldnâ t kick in. I flipped the breaker and checked the handler pan for water, but the house temperature continued to rise. I called a company I had used in the past and they were closed. I searched Home Advisor and found Fairway. I called after hours and a very pleasant woman told me that she would send someone out. Oscar came out and went to work on the unit. My unit is 10 years old and I must admit that I have not had any maintenance since I bought the house in 2015. Oscar explained that most units will last 15 years with maintenance. My unitâ s pressure was high probably due to lack of maintenance. Now, he was informative and not scolding when he explained this and was not a pressure salesman in any way. I really appreciated that and he earned my trust. He waited to see if the compressor would kick in and recognized the sound coming from the unit trying to start, but no success. He explained that he had and option to try to kick-start the unit. He replaced the capacitor and added a hard start assit. and it started. I requested to have a maintenance done on the unit and he told me about their service plan. As said, Oscar was not a pressure salesman and never tried to up sale at any time. I was the one who asked to have the unit serviced and then he explained the maintenance service they offer. He took the time to thoroughly explain everything he had done. He explained the bill and the $49 service fee was waived. And most importantly, he fixed my unit, after hours, and I didnâ t have to sleep in a hot house! Lesson learned â get your unit serviced!

It was without hassle and he did ah damn good job, without any question.

Did not come out to give me an estimate but instead opted to quote me over the phone almost $800 to install smart thermostat. When I told him that was too much he said what were you thinking it was going to cost. I said this service priced the job at $200. He said the thermostat costs more than that to which I replied, no it does not as I paid $192 for mine. He argued. He then lowered his price to $359 or something like that. He adjusted because he thought he had to supply ecobee smart thermostat. I told him I already had one and then he proceeded to tell me he would need to run a c wire as running the PEV supplied with unit would not make my central a/c run in top condition. The entire exchange felt like a scam.

Oscar is amazing!! He came out the same day we called, he took the time to walk us through everything and answered all our questions. For me, it's about trust! He was very thorough and we hired them because of Oscar. We ended up upgrading and going with a New AC unit and the team that came out stayed till night to make sure everything was assembled and cleaned up before they left. Thank you Oscar and the team. Definitely trustworthy and turnaround time was 1 day after we moved forward.
