Met Mikey the salesman on Saturday. I received quotes from at least 10 companys Mike was the first. Very pleasant no bs straight shooter. After all the bids I called Mike and told him I was interested but not completely sold. He sweaetened the deal and although he was not the least expensive, he was talking Rheem when less expensive units were not that much cheaper. You get what you pay for, buy cheap get cheap. Not the case with Fairway. Signed the contract Sunday and decided to finance at 0% short term. Heck I said I will use their money. Anyway instant approval. Scheduled job for Monday the next day. Now this is a rental unit I own that is occupied with tenants that work nights, asked him to please start as late as possible as to not to disturb them. 12:30 pm called me and gave me a half hour heads up. The two installers Francisco and Johnny were absolutely awesome. I hung around till the job was complete as tenants had to go to work. I cannot say enough about the installers professionalism and superior work. Completely done in 6 hours. Very pleased. I definitely made the right choice with the right company. Cannot recommend highly enough. Trust me. You will be pleased when you hire them. Also ask for Mikey the salesman, Francisco and Johnny the installers.

Vidal and his team are the reason people have zero trust in contractors. In April 2018, I hired Fairway to install a new AC unit and to replace the returns throughout the house based on Vidals expert opinion. The install took 5 days to complete. The subsequent problems caused by Vidals inexperienced technicians took at least another month to correct. They even sent Jesus out to try to fix it. Unfortunately, it was just Vidals brother and not the one that preforms miracles which would have been much more helpful. I actually lost count of the number of return trips it took them to finally get the new unit to operate correctly although the rest of the neighborhood could probably tell me. They found the almost daily visit quite comical. After the work that Vidal recommended was obviously insufficient, it was suggested by the above mentioned expert that I spend an additional $6000.00 of completely replacing the duct work in the house. Kinda makes you think that Vidals expert recommendation of replacing the unit to begin with may be a little suspect. Thankfully his technician Cliff was less interested in bilking me out of more money and simply corrected the problem with one of the ducts. Pretty sure Cliff was tired of coming to my house and probably a little embarrassed that this had gone on for almost 6 weeks. A couple of months later, I became aware of a rather loud rattle coming from the unit outside. It turned out to be the side of the unit that was rattling and to only way to stop it was to wedge a 2x4 against it which made my neighbors children happy as they would not be woken up nightly. Fairway sent a tech out that told me that this is what all of those units do and to leave the 2X4 there. New unit. The one the expert recommended. He forgot to mention the required 2X4. Fast forward exactly one year later (last week). We had a new roof installed and during the install the roofers not being able to see through plywood shot a nail into the suction line of the AC dumping the freon out of the unit. A suction line, by the way, that was installed to run right against the underside of the roof deck. I called Fairway and was told my 1 year warranty was over and I would be responsible for the bill. Over by 6 days. It did not matter that it took them 6 weeks to initially get the unit working. My warranty was over. So I called Vidal who told me the same thing and that it was the roofers fault. He also said it would cost me $850 for them to come out and fix it. Even childishly suggesting in a text that the roofer did it on purpose. I asked who is responsibility it was to protect the copper line set from damage such as this and he repeated it is not my fault it is the roofers fault. I called the city of Clearwater to ask them the same question. According to the city, there is not a code that dictates that a line set is a safe distance away from the roof deck or is protected, but that any installer with an once of common sense would not do what Fairway did. The company that came out to fix they sloppy install problem laughed at the way this line set was run as did a neighbor that was a AC contractor. And they both said the same thing as the city. No code for the line set, no code for common sense, and no code for taking responsibility. I forwarded the attached photos to Vidal and got no response. Not really a surprise. On to the next sucker customer. Karma is a tough, pal.

Family owned Good people

I was completely impressed with this company. Jesus came out on Monday with 4 other AC companies to give me a quote on a new AC unit and air handler. He went through my house, went out to the AC unit and pointed to where the unit was leaking Freon. Went into the house and let me know that the box the air handler was on wasn't insulated, he was the only one of the 4 that actually went into the attic to look at the duct work. He paperwork for the quote was legible, easy to read, explained what I was getting and for what price. He gave me prices on 2 units. I hired him! He called later and told me his brother and cousin would be out the next day between 12-2. They were here and worked meticulously, incredible pride of workmanship, explained everything as they installed. Francisco and his cousin were both so friendly. They cleaned everything up and left it spotless. I thanked them for their service, and their response to my daughter and myself was "Welcome to the Fairway Family". I recommend this company so highly to anyone who is looking to install quality Rheem AC unit with such pride. This was a very refreshing experience!

THEY NEVER PULLED THE PERMIT AND THE INSPECTOR SHUT THE JOB DOWN. CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS A LITTLE SCREWED UP, LIKE THE LEFT HAND DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THE RIGHT HAD WAS DOING, EXCEPT FOR THE LADY THAT ARRANGED FOR THE INSPECTOR TO COME AND INSPECT THE JOB..... SHE WAS GREAT !

This is a wonderful family owned business and I would highly recommend their service. I had them install a new AC unit in my condo and I couldn't be happier with the work they did. They were very professional and courteous. They made sure that the installation was perfect before leaving and left my condo neat and clean.

Great competent and conscientious install of air conditioning unit

I had to replace my entire AC unit. Vidal was great explaining the different aspects of what AC unit I needed and gave me a great deal for the type of unit I purchased. I obtained several other quotes, but Fairway was the best value by far. The installers were very courteous and efficient and got the job done all in one day. I highly recommend them.

Everyone I dealt with from the estimate to the actual install was the most excellent experience. Tim came to do my estimate and he was extremely helpful with his drawings to explain things to me and the installers were incredible. Very focused and committed to do a great job.

Prompt and courteous

They do not supply the paper work you need for rebates nor did they get a permit like they told me they were doing. The installers came unprepared no ladder etc. for the job...no paper work given for the work they did. Tim's email address is no good so you can not contact him. Will try to contact company and see if they can supply me with all the paperwork I need to prove I did get new units and duct work so I can get rebate from duke energy.

Shady!! Stay away from this provider. He was an employee of one of the other local ac companies and is no longer with them. Home advisor should warn against breakout competitors from other competing local companies. Recharged my frozen system before allowing it to thaw. Not sure how he has a license to operate. Definitely does not follow protocol for testing or repair. Left the area not returned to normal and did not replace insulation on internal unit.
