AC during summer was running around 80 degrees during the day so wanted to get it checked. My unit was not even 2 years old and when the owner Vidal got there he tried his best to sell me a new unit, on a unit that is not even 2 years old. After telling him no he charged Freon and said would come back to check for leaks. Paid him over $500 to cover Freon and also to fix the Freon leak when he came back, and once he finally came back almost a month later said it must be King valve leak and wanted another $1500. This company is a complete scam artist. Huge waste of time and waste of money.

So this installation of a new HVAC system was beyond a challenge. The process started 3/2018 and "completed 9/2018, with over 10 visits and 1 failed inspection. Installed a 3 ton 16SEER Ruud for 1550sq foot home to replace the 3 ton 15yr+ model that I ran on 77 degrees on the hottest days. PROS: The employees: sales, installers, office support are all very professional (except for lateness) and have a strong customer satisfaction focus! CONS: Installers do not appear to be experts in this field. And if having a new HVAC installed you NEED EXPERTS. ISSUES: Neither air handler or outside unit installed to code, outside unit not installed correctly for hurricane protection (straps attached to plastic, as well as numerous other issues)-- took 3 or 4 visits to correct to code. Biggest issue - not cooling properly. Areas (living room and master bath) furthest from unit do not get sufficient air supply. None of the 10+ visits have been able to resolve this. On days over 85 degrees, have to have AC down to 65-70. Their position - those rooms are an addition and a T junction stops air flow. Would agree- if I had the issue before with old unit, but did not. Perhaps a large unit may have solved this --again why you need an EXPERT to assess what's required BEFORE they recommend unit. So bottom line, I have a new unit with inadequate cooling; higher electric bills because I have to run unit so low (65) to get living room comfortable. *Updated after I posted this in Sept 2018, they offered to work on it again. Suggested that installing an inducer fan might facilitate distributing the air. I would have to pay for part but they would install it. They then came out TWICE with the wrong part and at that point there was no use allowing them to work on my unit again. So I am stuck with a unit that still does not cool 30% of my house and doubled electric bills. Unfortunately, would NOT recommend.

It's nice to deal with employees who are dedicated to their job and know what they are doing. Both Mike and Nick were very professional. Mike was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. I actually thought Mike was the owner of Fairway Heating and Air Conditioning because he was so caring and wanted to make sure we understood everything as well as making sure we are going to be satisfied with the service. Very pleasant dealing with both Mike and Nick. Thank you guys!

Te Tec explained well the problem and he told his time to show us all the problem. They probably one unit air conditioner portable until change my New unit. They have Tech speaker ours language Spanish. Thank you.

Great company! However, I d look around and ask more questions of others before signing. I now know that I could have gotten a lower price elsewhere. Do your homework!

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. TIM, OUR "GO TO GUY" WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT AC SYSTEMS. NEVER ONCE STEERED US IN THE WRONG DIRECTION. WAS UP FRONT, HONEST. THE INSTALLERS WHERE SOME OF THE BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN. THEY REPLACED ENTIRE AC SYSYEM AND FINALLY LEFT AT 1045 PM...THEY DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE UNTIL THE JOB WAS 100% COMPLETE. IT PASSED COUNTY INSPECTION WITH PERMITS AND I HAVE 0 AC ISSUES. I WOULD ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND FAIRWAY!!!

Too expensive and I ended up not hiring and charged $10 more on diagnostic that initially stated

They tried to sell me a new AC unit immediately. while checking the unit the technician said I had the wrong capacitor in the unit and would replace it for $260.00 and I found out they cost about $20 to $30. I said never mind. He did clean the whole unit and when he got done he put the capacitor in for free. When he finished he said again he would sell me a new unit for $4800. I said no again and he said my AC was a piece of shit. He gave me the bill and asked for a tip. When I paid him for the service and I did not give Him a tip he stormed out my house and slammed my side door before leaving. I am a Vietnam veteran and did not like this experience.

Once you pay them, they will not return your calls. U/V light put at the blower, not the evaporator coils where it should go. Failed county inspection 10 days ago. Still no fix. Horrible follow up, none.

Great family business , He came to our house with in only 2 hours from the first call. He showed up on time and I was extremely impressed and surprised that his truck had all the parts he needed to replace and repair the same day and time. He was very out going and friendly. I would definitely hire FAIRWAY HEAT AND COOLING I definitely recommend them.

Of the 4 contractors that came out I felt that Fairway was the only vendor who had not pre determined that my 13 yo system needed to be replaced or inflate the estimate of the repair to the point that a new unit would be more cost effective. They installed the unit the next day and as expected they were professional
