I wish I had something positive to say but there’s nothing. Literally I have never met an owner so dishonest and deceptive is DISGUSTING!!! Our initial re-pipe of our home was fine for the most part. When it came time to install our bathroom we ran into major issues. The team arrived and took 2 hours to install our tub faucet and shower head. We have an unusual faucet so we didn’t think much of it. The team took a lunch break returned around 1:30 only to spend two hours sitting in their van on their phones. They came in once or twice mentioned they needed to figure out the sink pipes but didn’t mention any other issues. When 4pm came to leave we still had no toilet installed and no sink. (Mind you we had company coming that weekend and we have 1 bathroom in our home- HUGE issue) the worker wanted to bill us for 10am-4pm - 6 hours of work at $134 an hour!!!!! my husband argued about how they sat in their car so they comped 1 hour. BTW in case you your wondering we paid for their 1.5 break!!!!! Yea we paid $200 for them to take their lunch break AND we paid for them to sit in their Van. When we brought up the sitting in the van he explained they where trouble shooting the issue of the sink. Sooooo here is the big issue they installed 3/4 pipes into our wall (that was now tiled) when we have 1/2” sink mount. THIS WAS THEIR ERROR!!!! We had the faucet present at the re-pipe installation. Our GC literally told them the parts they needed to adapt the two together and yet they sat in their van rather than going to the store to get the parts!!! They explained that the reason they couldn’t install the toilet was because they didn’t have the “upunor” (pex-a) tool to install it. IM SORRY!!! BUT WHAT PROFESSIONAL SHOWS UP TO A JOB WITHOUT THE TOOLS TO COMPLETE IT AND THEN BILLS YOU HOURLY!!!??? The toilet was present at the re-pipe so they had ZERO excuse for it not being prepared. This is the shadiest business we have ever worked with. So when my husband finally spoke to a area manage he apologized and came Saturday morning to install our toilet at no cost. That we greatly apupreciated. NOW to deal with the wrong pipes in the wall. My husband spoke to the owner who proceeded to yell at my him telling him we needed to pay them hourly to swap the pipes that they installed incorrectly!!! So we not have to pay more to fix the issue that they did wrong. At this point we’re almost wondering if they installed the wrong pipes to bill more hours?!?! Most well run businesses will take ownership of their issue and correct it at no cost to the customer (since they are the ones who made the error) but not this company. THE OWNER IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND SHADY INDIVIDUAL WE OR OUR GC HAS EVER WINTNESSED. let me recap... - wrong size pipes installed but won’t take ownership to fix and wants to pay for forchis error - showed up to the job WITHOUT the tools to complete the job - bills hourly for their lunch break - sits in their van while still billing you hourly to “trouble shoot” their issue - which is really an easy fix - also they didn’t remove our cast iron pipe which was part of our job bib so GC did it for us... we didn’t even make an issue of this but our GC billed us for an hour of labor to do it. When I called to speak to the owner he was mysteriously on vacation literally 20 minutes after my husband got off the phone with him on Thursday. I explained to his receptionist to give him a message that I felt homeowners needed to aware of this and I would gladly share my experience if he wasn’t willing to make it right. Oh and fast forward a week and half their team did not allow enough room on the pipes for “escutcheons” so we now can’t pass inspections! So here it my review. Because he never made the job right. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. Please save yourself the headache and the frustration of working with this company and find someone else.

Probably not necessary to write a review on only an estimate but thought it was needed. After a leak detector company found a below ground leak in our family room wall they referred us to Everyday Plumber for the repair work. Dennis came out promptly the same day to give his views on what our options were. Knocking out part of a wall (where the leak was) and also jackhammering out some tiles and concrete adjoining that area was an unpleasant yet our most economical choice for the plumbing repair. He also gave us another option of installing Uponor pipe throughout our whole house as it is now 37 years old and the pipes may be showing their age. But this second option was also very costly so before we went any further my wife's family friend (who does commercial plumbing) came out to give us a second opinion. He stated that Dennis was spot on with his assessment but as luck would have it he offered to do the 4-5 hour jackhammering repair job for us for free and we would just have to pay for the supplies. So it was a no brainer to accept the so-called "freebie". With that said I would like to say that Dennis was very thorough, detailed, and professional in analyzing our situation. And oh, he answered an onslaught of questions from me. The price estimates he gave seemed to be in line with the jobs projected to be done but we received an unforeseen lucky break by getting help from a family friend professional plumber for basically nothing. I felt it necessary to write a positive review of Everyday Plumber for only an estimate as they seemed like a very good company. I would not hesitate to hire them in the future.

The plumber referred me to a leak finder, who was quite a bit less expensive than the last one I used. He located the hot water leak under the slab and under some kitchen cabinets over the slab. Since this was the third leak found in the last few months the plumber advised that the whole house be re-piped (similar to what the previous plumber suggested if another leak was found). The re-piping was scheduled promptly and the work took two to three workmen three days to complete. Everything works perfectly. Done on time and at no additional cost over the quoted price.

he tried to tell me that I already had a leak under the sink. I checked right after he said that and there was dust no water. He then tried to tell me that he would have to cut pipe in order to install the soap pump bottle under the sink. I merely moved the under piping over a bit and he was able to install it. I know he was trying to get more money out of the job.

Service was quick and the workers were polite and knowledgeable and the work is warrantied. The only negative in employing EverydayPlumber is that we were told that if we hire anyone else to replace the tub (wanted to install a walk-in) it would void the warranty. Their quote was significantly more than others, so I'm stuck with an old tub. I really don't understand how replacing a fixture voids a warranty for pipes in the walls. I guess this would apply to sinks and toilets too?

Wonderful! They are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Have dealt with multiple members of their plumbing crew as well as office staff and they all are great. Never had a problem with anything they have repaired. Have recommended them to all my family and friends and have them on speed dial for future use. They are the first people I call for any plumbing repairs or even if I just have plumbing questions or need information, they have always been there and willing to help. Am not sure of the exact dates, have been using them for the last several years.
Description of Work: Original work was installation of all new fresh water lines throughout home and installation of garbage disposal. After that I've had plunging of clogged drains, repair of broken shower fixtures as well as repairs on old broken pipes in kitchen wall.

We had a small leak, pin hole size in a pipe in our bathroom. We called this company and they sent a plumber to our house the same day. When he first saw the problem he said he wasn't sure how to fix it so he asked if he could take a picture and send it to his boss for instructions. When he came back into the house, he said he could fix it and it would cost $475.00. And he said it would take 3 hours to fix. My husband said no way it should cost that much so the guy said the lowest he could go was $400. So my husband told him to tell his boss he was throwing their business card out and to leave. We did have to pay the $29.00. for the service call. We called another plumber and sent a picture of the problem and he quoted us $200. It took him one hour. And the job was excellent!

The plumber that came to your house has been with us for about 2years. He makes repairs all the time on lines up to 12" your repair was minor. We don't claim to be the cheapest company. We appreciate the opportunity to gain your business, but it didn't work out. Bad talking our company does no good considering we are a very busy plumbing company in the Tampa Bay Area. With a great amount of repeat business once again we appreciate the time you took to call us and your feed back. Have a wonderful and bless day.

Awful. This is a buyer beware. I am female and the service technician told me it was going to minimally cost $289.00 to fix the washer. He was leaning over the backside of the washer to hide the hoses....he stated that it was the water supply issue at the wall and the bill may go up to $400-$500 if he had to tear into the wall. He told me that fixing the water supply (meaning the faucet) will fix the problem 99 percent of the time. Again, while leaning over the hoses to hide them, he took his cell phone to shine a light on the "corrosion" at the faucet base. I told him the faucets have not been an issue or concern previously. He then left to go to a nearby hardware store to buy supplies. During that time, my father came in to the hose to visit. I told him the issue so he looked behind the washer to check for any obvious issues and looked at me with a very strange look....the look was regarding the hose that goes from the washer to the water supply faucet and that it was completely kinked from when Best Buy installed the washer two days prior. He checked the water supply which was at full force with no leaks. The serviceman NEVER mentioned the hose as I would be able to fix that myself. I called him on his cell while he was at the hardware store and he said he knew about the hose and was also purchasing that.m in top of other supplies. I explained my concern that it is simply the kinked hose. He said that he would take the bill down from $288 to a less amount and he would not bother with the faucet. He changed out the hose line and left the washer pulled out without even pushing it back in upon leaving. The bill was $129.00 for what turned out to be a hose replacement due to a kink. This is my first poor review I have written but I felt everyone should know the obvious concern of what being an upstanding business should be.....

Main reason I hired/got the special was because my kitchen siink was slow draining. The second reason I wanted to discuss the potential problem that I may of had of a broken pipe in my house. I had water that had flooded a second bedroom and ruined wood floors. The ac handler is right by that room and I felt it was the AC handler but the AC folks said it was not the AC, that it was probably a broken pipe under the floors. I wanted to have tests run or whatever needed to be done to determine if my pipes where actually causing the water in a spare bedroom. I wanted to know if it was a leak. I did not think it was. These guys came out and kept insisting that I had a busted pipe under my floors. That I had old alimunum pipes that I need to repipe the whole house. I was not convinced. I asked about like a sonogram that I heard was done to find leaks. He insisted he knew where the leak was and that it was stupid to fix the leak. I just need to re-pipe. Me and my husband where there and he kept speaking to my husband as if I had no clue. I am the owner of the house and pretty intelligent when it comes to these matters. When I said NO, that I was not convinced that I had a leak, he basically called me stupid and said I must like my house flooded. He became very rude. The kitchen sink problem was not resolved, it was still running very slow. Hired another plumber to come out and run a snake as what should of been done by this company.
Description of Work: I hired him using the special for unclogging my kitchen sink. In addition to unclogging the sink I wanted to check for a potential leak.

They missed the first appointment, but then they came out on a Sunday to finally retrieve the ring. He first tried using a snake, but could not get the ring. Then, he used a high power vacuum and he was successful. In all, a very good job and it only took 10 minutes. He had no record of the $44 I had already paid through Angie's List, but after I should him the ad, he did credit me with that amount..

Very badly. They were the high bidder but lowered their price upon negotiation. They underestimated how long the job would take. The sales approach by the owner was high pressure assuring quality work and exuding confidence. The plan was described rapid fire to me and the plumber who actually had to do the work. I caught a mistake in his plan which was to route the new pipes across the dual sink master bath vanity. This would have prevented the drawers in the middle from closing. I pointed it out to him. He agreed it was a mistake and modified the plan to come into each sink from the back wall as is normally done. This involved running the pipes through the wall and was more work than the original plan but solved the drawer problem. However, I told him that the vanity was going to be removed to solve water damage from the leak. He said that would make his job easier in running pipes in the wall behind the vanity and they would temporarily cap the pipes leading to the vanity and then return after the vanity was removed to install the pipes in the wall and then complete the hookup once the vanity was back in place. They would also hookup other fixtures (shower, tub, guest bathroom sink) once needed restoration work was complete including tile that they damaged during the repipe. Later, numerous other problems in the owner's plan were found by the plumber resulting in significant changes from the plan. For example, the plan was to run pipe outdoors underground. The plumber determined that this was too difficult due to tree roots and a heat exchanger and ran them on the wall instead. The plumbers that did the actual work were civil but were, I believe, being directed by the owner to make shortcuts and back away from promises made prior to contract signing. They claimed the job was complete even though 1). 25% of the plumbing fixtures were not connected to water, 2). pipes were connected to two sinks in a way that makes my master bathroom vanity unusable (as described above, this problem was specifically pointed out to the owner of the company and the plumber prior to contract signing and they agreed to route the pipes in such a way to keep the vanity usable), 3). the hot water line was connected to the hose bib, 4). they had damaged my exterior house paint by spray painting white paint (for UV protection of CPVC pipes) on these walls AFTER pipe installation and without any masking, 5). they made several minor workmanship errors including two that are code violations, 6). they removed plumbing items (expansion valves) of value from my property without my permission, 7). they routed pipe that was supposed to be inside the wall but actually protrudes above the dry wall, 8). they arranged with the county for the inspection to be a final one while telling me it was a partial inspection, 9). they told me that they would alert me when the county inspector arrived so I could witness the inspection (I was waiting inside the house) but had walked through 1/2 the house with the inspector before I discovered that the inspection was in progress, 10). the owner demanded final payment from me on the spot after the inspection was complete claiming that the job was done since the county inspection was complete (denying my right to have final approval authority over the work done (they even had told me that I didn't need to be present at the inspection as long as my wife provided access to the house I could stay at work - I decided to come home and wait for the inspector to arrive so I could witness it - consequently the demand for final payment on the spot came as a complete surprise to me. I refused to make full payment since the work was not complete and since the contract had specified 50% at contract signing and 50% at work completion. In an attempt to keep them from walking off the job, I offered to make a substantial progress payment but insisted upon not making a final payment at that time in order to retain financial leverage to ensure completion of the remaining work. The owner turned down this offer. They are threatening to place a lien on the property and foreclose on that lien. The county has agreed to make the inspection partial not final after I pointed out deficiencies in how the inspection was arranged and conducted. I am looking for an amicable resolution of this issue without litigation. I have expressed this desire. Their attorney has expressed this desire. I have provided the owner and the attorney with a detailed list including photographs of the work that is not complete as well as the issues with the work that has been done.
Description of Work: Initially they responded to a water leak emergency that had caused flooding in the Master Bathroom. They subsequently diagnosed fixing the leak in the existing copper pipe as being very expensive and problematical for the future. They recommended repiping the house. They were hired to repipe the plumbing in the house by running CPVC throughout the house.

We are confused as to why the customer ([member name removed]) is unhappy. EveryDayPlumber.com completed a basic whole house re-pipe to code and the Pinellas County Chief Inspector verified that everything was done correctly. His words of 12/05/2014 were: “This matter is closed”. The customer negotiated a price of $7400.00 for a basic whole house re-pipe which does not include any finish work (drywall repair, tile repair, etc.) and this was repeatedly relayed to the customer, as well as being noted on the contract prior to his signing. The customer requested additional work for $450.00 bringing the total to $7850.00. The customer put down an initial deposit of $3700.00 with a remaining balance to be paid upon completion of $4150.00. Upon completion the customer indicated he did not have sufficient funds to pay the remaining balance, but instead offered $1500.00 in an attempt to leverage the remaining balance of $2650.00 for EveryDayPlumber.com to perform work (post renovation) we had not been contracted to complete. We offered to come back after renovations were completed to install new fixtures, however, that work would be done at an additional cost. EveryDayPlumber.com completed the work as contracted. EveryDayPlumber.com has thousands of customers that are very pleased with our pricing and craftsmanship and have the reviews and accolades to prove it.

This wasn't what I would call a bad experience. He came and diagnosed what was causing my high water bill. He said I needed a new toilet and he would do it for $350. Well, I knew my handyman would do it for less than half that with the cost of the toilet included. So-before he left I asked if I owed him anything and he said NO!I didn't do anything. I asked What do I do with my coupon? He said, Save it for next time. In my head I am thinking but there won't be a next time so I wrote to Angie's List requesting a refund.

Arrived promptly at the top of the two hour service window. Unfortunately the location where the leak was coming through the celing was not the place that it could be repaired. The job required creating a new opening in the drywall in order to access the faulty water pipe. Mike was extremely professional and explained every step of the process. Even though the job had some unexpected difficutlies and took over an hour longer to complete than expected, he still charged me exactly what he quoted. Great job! It went fine, but it ended up being over $300 because they had to go up on the roof because there was no access from the street. The toilet wasn’t flushing/draining properly. A week later we did have a puddle of water in our guest bathroom floor when we came home (faulty turn off valve) -- but the owner showed up at our house about 1/2 hour after we called on a Friday night. Now, I am really impressed. They did a great job and very reasonable priced, too!! I would use them again and strongly recommended their service to anyone. Thanks for helping us out when we needed to trust someone, it will always be your company.
Description of Work: This company did an outstanding job on re-piping our house with new hot & cold pipes with a new hot water heater in our attic master bedroom suite. We had a broken hot water pipe in our cement slab. Very professional bid and within reason amount of time. They worked with us with taking time off and even started the job on a Saturday! I was impressed. We only had one whole in our laundry room to repair the wall -- otherwise they did a remarkable job getting the new pipes down the inside walls and getting everything connected.

We purchased the $79 Sewer Rodding and Televising plus drain cleaning. The picture shown with the ad showed a water jet going through the pipe which made us believe that would be what was used to clean the drain. Read the fine print, they don't use that. But, he did go up on our roof and snake the sewer drain to the street because we didn't have an accessible clean out to use. So for $79, it was a very good deal, just a little misleading because of the picture. But they did a great job.
Description of Work: Snaked the drain.

The entire crew worked very hard including all day Saturday and Sunday. Even when there was a slight communication breakdown or the quote did not include something that was necessary to do, they did the right thing. Throughout the whole process we were only without water for a few hours. The re-pipe was like having major surgery on your house, and they made the surgery as painless as possible.
Description of Work: Everyday Plumbing completed an entire house re-pipe to remove polybutlene plastic piping.

Everyday Plumber is a bit more expensive than other plumbers in the area, but overall provided excellent service. Make sure you are aware of all costs up front (water heater cost extra). Rob and Nick were very professional, punctual and friendly. Nick even showed up at my house on Easter Sunday to do some work! I am still waiting for them to "put my yard back together" a week after the job was completed but not a huge deal. I requested that the old piping be left on site so I could recycle but despite a couple of inquiries I have not been able to locate. The only thing I would have asked is that they put protective covering on their shoes before entering the house so as to cut down on the dirt brought in from the outside.
Description of Work: Re-piping and electric water heater installation.
