+ -1 moreA few months later, the same problem led us to contact them for correction based on the written warranty and they came, they did something towards the problem but it was not corrected. They did comment about having leaf removal and we contracted tree cutters to resolve that issue. When we kept having leaks, we contacted them again and they simply never responded to cell numbers and commercial numbers. Curiously, the numbers seemed to have changed. Contacted BBB and they had no record of company appearing on card.
Description of Work: Roofing problem. We called Duke's for a roofing issue involving a tile roof as there was dripping inside the house. Kenny Duke was the contact. The price for the job was $1,800.00 and on the invoice, there was a stated one year warranty for the work along with what was done: 1. Repair broken tiles. 2. Pressure wash entire roof. 3. Clean out valley so that water does not build up.. 4. Water seal tiles surrounding valley area.

+ -1 moreI need to restate that he put on the origianl roof about 10 years ago. Follow-up and attention to deatail was horrible. On the visit in April he was here about 15 minutes and fixed a nail pop which did nothing and charged me $50.00 which I am okay with for the trip charge if it was fixed. . He tried to sell me a program for $300 that would cover any roof repairs for the next 3 yerars and I said sure, I will sign up for that. he didnt have the agreements with him and said he would maiil them to me. Thank God he never follwed up on that. i would be out another $300. I have called him three times since then including last week and no call back. I will be lookig through your list of roof repar vendors to get this handled. Hopefully they have been vetted more thoroughtly than Dukes! Get him off of your vendors list.
Description of Work: Dukes originally put on my new roof and I had problems with the scheduling folllow up etc. recently had a roof leak that he claimed he fixed. Still leaks and now I have extensive ceiling repair costs. I have called him 3 times over the last month to fix the roof and have not received a call back or any response. I would never recommend thisroofer for any type of work and should be taken off of Angie's list. This gives Angie's a bad reputation.

+ -1 moreThey fixed part of the leak but not the other part so our roof is still leaking. I was woken up in the middle of the night to water pouring through my roof. I climbed up on the roof and found that they left a lot of nails all over the roof and that they had used old plywood during the repair. He also added new ridge vents. The ridge vents have pre-made holes for screws to go through. Instead of using the pre-made holes, he randomly attached them to the roof not using the pre-made holes. Some of the nails blew over the roof and into the driveway which caused 2 flat tires. They did poor work and it was a waste of my money. I called and they said that none of these problems were their responsibility but they'd take care of it. I have sent them a bill for the two tire repairs (which had nail punctures in them) and haven’t heard anything back from them.
Description of Work: I hired them to repair my roof in an area where the shingles were bad.
