+ -1 moreI visited the Dream Renovations booth at a home show and indicated I was looking to redo my kitchen and adjoining room and had already decided on cabinets but needed to do extensive work on both rooms (re-drywall the adjoining room that is panelled), electrical for undercabinet lights, outlets, etc., plumbing for dishwasher, demo of kitchen including removing soffit, closet, range exhaust hood, and install new cabinets, paint, replace two doors, install wainscotting, and some other items. Jeff came out to the house and we discussed everything and he said he would get back to me with a detailed estimated. After two weeks I called Jeff on three separate days and left messages and have not heard a word from him. If he doesn't want to do the job at least he could pick up the telephone and let me know.
Description of Work: Jeff came out to the house and said he would get back to me with and estimate. I have been unable to contact Jeff since then.

+ 3 moreDream Renovations is an excellent company that does top quality work, and more importantly stands by their work. Jeff didn't think twice about replacing the lights for me, even though he didn't hear about the problem until 2 years after he finished the original job. Their Fieldstone product is top of the line, and all of the hardware on the equipment, such as the sliding shelves, the drawers, are holding up perfectly and still look beautiful. My wife thinks very highly of all of the employees that worked in the house, including the electrician, the tile installers, the cabinet installers, and the granite countertop installers. They worked hard, were very friendly, and they were all PERFECTIONISTS. This level of perfection delayed the final completion of the work by a couple of weeks, but it was well worth the wait.
Description of Work: Dream Renovations renovated our kitchen (granite countertops) and replaced cabinets in one of our bathrooms two years ago (2005). The kitchen and bathroom look fantastic and we couldn't be happier with the results. We have an extremely large kitchen and bathroom, and Dream Renovations price was the 2nd lowest of 4 quotes we received. Of the 4 companies, Dream Renovations by far had the best quality cabinets (Fieldstone). My wife and I signed the contract prior to me being assigned overseas for a 2 year rotation. I recently returned from overseas and noticed that the undercounter LED lights in the kitchen didn't work as well as I expected, and a small piece of molding on the bottom of a bathroom cabinet was missing. I called the owner (Jeff) about the discrepancies, and within a week, he sent someone out to replace the lights and the molding AT NO COST. Since a new type of light (halogen) was installed, the wiring had to be redone and it took about a day and a half to complete.

+ 0 moreThe project ran significantly over schedule, but remained on budget. There were unexplained, unexplained delays and significant employee turnovers. However, the price, all be it high, remained on target. In the end, additional costs were presented to us. However, without signed change requests and some contract dispute, the issue was dropped.
Description of Work: Installation of new bathroom and kitchen cabinetry and remodel.

Description of Work: NONE. SALESPERSON CAME TO MEASURE AND GET INFO ON WHAT WE WANTED DONE. SALESPERSON PROMISED TO CALL US IN A WEEK AND WITH A PROPOSAL BUT NEVER FOLLOWED THROUGH.

+ -1 moreDID A NICE (BUT NOT PERFECT) JOB WITH THE CABINETS. EMPLOYEES ARE EASY TO WORK WITH AND APPEAR TO BE HONEST. JOB BEGAN A FEW WEEKS LATER THAN PROMISED AND TOOK A FEW WEEKS LONGER TO FINISH UP, BUT COMPARED TO THE KITCHEN REMODEL HORROR STORIES OF OUR FRIENDS, THIS WAS NOT A BAD EXPERIENCE.

RAY, THE DESIGNER HELPED US TO PLAN THE BEST LAYOUT FOR OUR SIZE ROOM AND ALL HIS SUGGESTIONS HAVE WORKED OUT VERY WELL. JEFF, MADE SURE ALL THE CABINETS ARRIVED AND WERE INSTALLED PROPERLY. CHRIS THE CABINET INSTALLER DID WONDERFUL JOB, IN SPITE SOME CHALLENGES WITH THINGS BEING LEVEL. CARLOS, CREATED AND INSTALLED A FABULOUS COUNTER TOP. THERE WAS SOME DAMAGE IN SHIPPING TO ONE OF THE DRAWERS AND THEY HAVE TAKEN CARE OF REPLACING IT. I HAVE NEVER WORKED WITH A COMPANY THAT HAD SO MANY PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY CARE SO MUCH ABOUT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.
