About us

I was a fairly large general contractor in Atlanta for 15 years. Now I am a consultant/designer/carpenter with craftsman skills and a collection of very good sub-contractors in Tampa, Florida. I mainly concentrate on remodeling and I specialize in projects that require some creativity because of my design background. My clients like that I bring lots of ideas and give them many options. I have a good eye for detail and high quality and I can typically save my clients money because of my experience. With over 25 years in the business I have the ability to handle anything.

Doug did an excellent job. He not only followed our plans but made many suggestions for modifications that improved the overall project. He worked long days and weekends to complete the project in a timely manner. His finish work was excellent and he was thorough in completing the punch out list which he primarily came up with himself. We would highly recommend him.
Description of Work: Complete bedroom, bathroom and washer/dryer area renovation including demolition, drywall, carpentry, tile, cabinet installation, painting and all finish work.

Excellent. We first used Doug about a year ago to install travertine in the new master bath. We ended up having him do the painting, trim, closed and vanity for the master bath as well. We have found Doug to be very honest and he does excellent work for a fair price. Plus our dogs have really taken to him, but he always includes petting the dogs free of charge on his invoice.
Description of Work: We have been using Doug for over a year on our remodel/addition project. For this job Doug did the following things: Fixed structural issue by tearing down an archway that was improperly installed (by someone else). The ceiling had started to sag around the archway. Doug braced the ceiling and installed a proper header, then rebuild the arch between the two rooms. Rebuilt Second archway (this one was non-structural) to match the main arch talked about above. Drywalled around a recently added peninsula in our remodeled Kitchen Ran surround sound speaker wires in family room along with some coax and cat 5 cables Patched drywall in several areas where it had previously been removed for other repairs Installed marble windows sills and trim pieces on 6 windows Prepared and installed louver doors for AC closet Fixed the ceiling attic access. The access had been improperly widened by a previous owner. Painted 3 rooms and a hallway.
