Description of Work: We were suppose to meet for cost analysis of new service

Description of Work: They were to activate our new home alarm system which they did. However, the sales person told us about all the bells and whistles and what a great company they are is full of lies. They never told us about the contract. Never brought up the idea if we were unhappy with their service that we could terminate. We had their service for 2years and we needed to sell our home due to family illness. We were able to sell the home finally. I had contacted Devcon and explained the situation that we no longer own the home and would like to cancel the service. After going back and forth with no communication to be had, they said we signed a 5year contract which we were never made aware of even though we don't own the home nor even live there. Talked to a supervisor which was not willing to work with us. Bluntly said your wife signed the contract and that's it. I told him that the sales person never informed my wife about the duration of the contract. They obviously do not care about their customers which says a lot that they would not even consider some early termination fee. Their service is horrible AND customer service is lacking. Watch what you sign with this company. They are a bunch of liars and scams.. Strongly urge everyone not to do business with these thieves.

Description of Work: Installation was quick and smooth. I guess the service works - I don't know, the alarm has never been tripped. Major issues with contract and my account being sold (see below)

Description of Work: We had two homes in Citrus County both secured with Devcon. We moved to Gulfport and contacted Devcon to cancel out Citrus county service and arranged to secure our home in Gulfport. What a nightmare. Devcon customer service is terrible. Their departments don't communicate with each other so getting Devcon to understand a problem you are having is almost impossible.

Description of Work: After having major difficulties with our alarm system install, the regional manager, Rene, came out to correct the situation. He assessed our system that was installed a few months prior, and deemed it necessary to replace pretty much every sensor in the house. We had tried to adapt a pre-installed system to a current wireless one, and it did not communicate properly. After Rene’s visit, a technician came out just a few days later to do the job properly this time. We had every sensor replaced, and added a few more devices, to make our alarm system as complete as possible. Since then, our security system has worked flawlessly. I am very pleased at this time and feel quite secure in my home.

Description of Work: Once you are in a contract, trying to communicate to customer service is near impossible. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
