I needed a handyman for my rental property - thought I had found the perfect person, but was once again disappointed in Tampa professionals. He took the time to look at the job, quoted it, then never did it, - never returned my calls nor the tenants calls. If you can't do the work, don't say you can.

The work went well. Due to his full schedule, it took a few weeks before we could get the work done, but once we had the schedule set, it went rather well.

Dave was a professional right from the beginning. He answered the phone immediately and was very friendly. He shown up on time (to the minute) to give an estimate on the nasiest of days. On the day he arrived to perform the work he came in and immediately begin to work. He works efficiently and neatly. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. He's professional, efficent, prices are reasonable, and plus he's a nice guy.

David Rodriguez Home Repairs said he would tell me when he could come to do the work but he never called me back to tell me if and when he would do the work. I was very disappointed. I didn't call him back and I don't know if he fell ill or what happened. He called me on the day I talked to him on phone and he came the same day, so he was very responsive.

David showed up on time and looked at the main drywall repair and 2 other small jobs around the house I needed done. He was very professional and gave me a quote for the work. He seams very competent and knowledgeable of the work to be done. He is scheduled to complete the work next week. I will write another review after he has completed the work.

When I first contacted David he was booked solid for a month but I went ahead and scheduled an appointment anyway. He showed up at the agreed upon time and quickly gave me an estimate. The price was more than fair. (Especially when compared to some of the other quotes I was getting.) David always returned calls promptly and showed up on time. There were a few minor issues that I noticed after he left, but he came back two days later and corrected them. The only negative I have is a minor one. I wish he had cleaned up a little better after he finished working. I will definitely be using David again in the future and will recommend him to my friends and neighbors.

He was very good. He was very reliable. He was a reasonable guy. He did the job. The quote that he gives me is the quote that I get. He is a one-man band. I can’t just call and have him come right away. If he is on a project he can’t get to me right away. He does return calls. The quality was good. I have called couple of times and he has been so busy. I don’t think he returned the call right away. I wasn’t looking out of the window waiting for him. I wasn’t so cognizant of that. If I am going to be here and whether he comes at 10 or 11 it doesn’t matter. He was very professional. I would call him if I needed service.

Made an appointment to meet with David several weeks in advance. He was scheduled to meet me at my house at 4:30 on Monday. I called over the weekend to verify the appointment. Left work early to meet him. Called him when he was 15 minutes late and left a message. He called me back at 6:30 wanting to schedue for the next day. I declined.

When David came out to look at the situation with our chimney, how bad the sill cap was rusting and how the top guard was rusting also. Upon further inspection by David, he noticed that all of the wood at the bottom of the chimney was curling up and was rotting out from the years of water draining around the chimney. David advised us that he could do what we immediately needed and provided us with a very competitive quote compared to the other quote I received, but at the same time let me know that I would be looking at replacing the siding on the chimney probably later this year because of its age and just the beating it has taken from the elements over the last 26 years. David made me aware of a product I never heard of called Hardy board. It has a wood look on one side but is actually made of cement. It can weather the elements for years and years with no worries. The cost of the whole job was going to be more than we originally planned, but sometimes fixing a problem right the first time and all at once, is smarter than piece fixing it. David and I agreed on a price and a time when he could fit us into his schedule and we were set. On the 14th on January, David showed up right on time, gave me an outline so to speak of what he was all going to do and it sounded good to me. I did have to leave a couple of times while David was there, the garage was open because he needed power, but I felt 100% comfortable leaving knowing that my house was in David's hands, so to speak. David actually finished up the job just a bit early, not much, but earlier than he expected considering all that needed to be done. My wife and I actually had to leave before David was done, so we paid for the job before it was totally finished, left for our appointment, and David finished the job, cleaned up like he wasn't even there, and most of all the chimney look just Awesome. Even though we had to wait just a bit for David to get out and inspect the job and get an estimate, as they say, good things come to those who wait. We got a great job done on our chimney, No More Eyesore!!! Even the homeowners association property manager called me and complemented me on a job well done and how great the chimney look. I let him know that I could not take credit for it, the credit all went to David Rodriguez. This was the first time we ever used David's services and I don't think it will be the last. He lives in our immediate area and I like to keep money that I spend on contractors etc local within the community. Do not hesitate to give David Rodriguez a call to get an estimate for your job, you will not be sorry.

I called David Rodriguez because of the good reviews on Angie's List. He did not disappoint. He was on time, did a great job and cleaned up his mess. I will definitely call him again.

I called David because of the great reviews on Angies list and I was not disappointed at all. David came in, look at the job and gave us an estimate. He called us the day of the appointment to make sure we still wanted to go ahead with the job. He came in on time and proceeded to do the work. He was polite and he explained exactly what he was doing from start to finish. He also cleaned up before leaving. His price is very reasonable. He even lowered the price from the estimate that he had given us when he realized that the job was not as big or detailed as he had thought. That was very honest. I will definitely be calling him again in the future.

Made an appointment with David, he answered my call right away, we talked about the faucets I need installed, and he agreed to install all bathroom faucets for 40 dollars each, kitchen for 45 ...I agreed to this price, and he will be here Saturday to complete the job. I also asked him if he could give me an estimate when he is here for a window handle replacement, and a small paint job on my back porch ceiling he agreed. I will update this review after his work is complete on Saturday December 22,2012 Update: David called this morning and said he would be here shortly and he was, such a wonderful professional man, did all the sinks in our house, two in the master , two others in the other two bathrooms and one in the kitchen including a garbage disposal(which wasn't part of the original quote) My whole family felt confident with David, he is a wealth of experience, we are completely satisfied with his work, we needed a few pieces which we were lucky, he had them in his truck, I will use David for all of my future handyman needs...oh we have already hired him again to do some painting for us on the lanai, and to fix that handle in the window. Awesome job, great man!!

David was responsive and professional in every way. He showed up on time, every time, and completed our stucco repair in a timely manner with completely satisfied results.

David did a fine job for us. We found him on Angie's list. He came out to the house (built in 1925) and gave us an estimate on several projects. The process took four or five visits over six weeks. He was responsive, punctual and fairly priced. We have more projects and we will definitely call on David in the future.

David did a great job! He was very professional and punctual and was able to keep a level head and work despite my daughter having a tantrum in the background :). In addition, he kept me apprised of a minor change to his schedule several days before our appointment and called me the day of the service to reconfirm our service appointment. With one of the ceiling fans, David offered up that he could fix the fan, which would be cheaper from a materials and labor standpoint if we didn't want to replace the fan. David is returning to performing additional work for us in the future and I plan on using him thereafter as well.

David is very professional and respectful, he works quickly, does an excellent job and leaves your home as clean as when he arrived. Along with lots of small jobs we have not been able to find time to complete, David did some interior painting. I did warn him beforehand that I was extremely picky about the finish but he even managed to please me! David charges a very modest amount, not enough in my opinion for the standard of his work. The icing on the cake is that he is an extremely nice man who I was very comfortable having in my home, he even made a big fuss of my pets! I would highly recommend David and will be calling him for all of my future repairs.

Do not expect Mr. Rodriguez to show up when he says he will.

David called on his way to remind me that he was coming and that he may actually be 10 minutes early, which he was. I LOVE promptness! David charges a price per job versus a price per hour and it was very reasonable. He showed showed knowledge in many areas; electrical, plumbing, drywall and construction. I will be calling him back when I have a paint job and for my wood flooring repair in the future. VERY professional. Kelly

David showed up exactly when he promised for both the estimate and the actual work. He repaired the leak damage to perfection. One would not know the damage had ever occurred. He is very professional and has a strong knowledge of just about any home repair need. We will definitely call him the next time we need home repair. We're very glad to have found David on Angie's list!!

david was great. he came out on my schedule, which can be difficult to work around. he was professional and easy to work with. he explained, clearly, what he could do, and what needed to be done. his estimate was correct. the work looks great. i would recommend calling david to my friends and family. if you're reading this david, thanks again.
