Description of Work: I purchased a quartz countertop for my bathroom. The countertop was installed, but the backsplash did not fit properly. It was taken back. I was thrilled when the installers returned. I would highly recommend this company and praise the two individuals who worked on the countertop. Great job.

We had looked at over a dozen people before him. We obtained his name through word-of-mouth. He did not have a showroom;he came to our home and brought a portfolio of previous jobs. After seeing it and listening to his ideas about how to remodel, we chose him. His price wasn't the lowest we had received, somewhere in the lower half, but for the quality of the work (hardwood faces, dovetail joinery) we thought he offered the best price/value ratio. He did not produce any computer renderings, just sketches, but in the end I cannot imaging how it could have been better. His company is a solo business. He made the measurements, and then ordered the cabinets from his custom cabinet manufacturer, in the U.S. The cabinets took about 6 weeks to arrive to his shop. That was a plus - other people have had the cabinets show up to their house and have to move them themselves, He came in and tore down the old cabinets, after putting plastic sheets over the furniture in the adjacent living room. Then he repaired the drywall, taking his time for several coats of mud over the seams and tape, and then painted it a basic white, saying this would protect it, and we should select a color after looking at the granite for a few months. Then he mounted the new cabinets. He did the electrical work and plumbing himself. The electrical was installing new outlets, fluorescent lights under the cabinets, can lights in the ceiling, new chandelier over the kitchen table, pendant lights over the new sink, and dimmers for all, using CFL/LED compatible dimmers. Plumbing included new hot and cold lines and drainage lines to the dishwasher and sink and garbage disposal. We selected the granite, which was installed by the granite company, but he was at the kitchen when they installed it just in case there were any problems. The granite people also installed the sink, which bought from the granite people, and the back-splash. Then he installed the faucet and the reverse osmosis machine, the drinking water faucet, the line to the ice machine in the refrigerator, the garbage disposal, and the dishwasher, and set up the refrigerator, the new range. GE installed the new microwave. Finally, he installed the cabinet pulls that we had purchased online. There are a lot of custom features: the cabinets have soft closing mechanism; there are lights in the wine glass cabinet; a place for a wine cooler; a very nice and sturdy lazy Susan in the corner with a 2-part corner front; a nice sized pantry with pull-out shelves; a small cabinet for calendar and mail; changing the square entry doors to arched openings, to match the arched cabinet pulls and arched handles on the stainless refrigerator and oven. Cleanup was professional and complete. During the project, he had no other competing jobs; he was there every day at 8 a.m. Our new kitchen has received accolades from our neighbors. I give Gary my the strongest recommendation.
