Highly recommend Classic Stone Gallery. We recieved 2 quotes from other companies and Classic Stone Gallery was by far the most reasonable. They had a beautiful selection of granite. Steve, Joe and their crew were very professional and wonderful to work with. They were very careful when removing our existing tops and cleaned up after installation. Great experience from beginning to end, very happy we chose them to do the job. 

They were fantastic. It's beautiful They did the work according to our schedule and it was completed in a day. We were doing the prep work, we had to take down part of the wall. They had everything ready so when we were ready them came in and installed it in a matter of hours, they put on the 15 min sealer ahead of time so they were ready to roll once we were done.

These folks are outstanding! Their level of service is fantastic. My new countertops are amazing! If you want a fair price and great service getting your new countertops then this is the company you should use!

This was a small job, and you always worry that tradesmen don't like/want small jobs, but Joe was pleasant, could help us with the work, gave me a price over the phone for the travel/labor which I accepted, his crew showed up when expected and did the job efficiently. They cleaned up after themselves when they left. Simple, easy and quickly done. I would definitely recommend them.

They were okay to be honest with you, just okay.

They were clean and fast, but all they did was put on the adhesive, a block of wood, and attached it back.

This outfit does very good work. They scheduled the work and completed it as promised. The installation looks very good.

I recommended Classic Stone to my sister, Jeanie Lawson. I count it as one of the worst mistakes I have ever made. I am attaching a few photos I sent them when I thought the management was not aware of their finished product. On 6/18/14 Joe Plazza responded in attached e-mail and quot;I see it, will send installer to fix them, I will let you know when. Classic Stone is close to where I work so I know Jimmy Mormino as does my sister now. Since he also lives in Lutz we requested he stop by her home. She has not even received a telephone call. Attached also is a letter Jeanie wrote when she was not receiving any response. Would appreciate any help you can give even if it is just getting someone from their company to contact her and try to repair the mess they have made. I would like to attach the photos., e-mail correspondence and letter from my sister to Jimmy. Is that possible? Thank you, Rosemary Clement

A friend of mine recommended them saying that the owner was originally from Italy and being originally from Italy myself, I decided to give them a try. I meant to buy a scrap piece to save a little bit, but when I went through their inventory, of course I only liked the ones that were not scrap! Joe Plazza was super nice, very knowledgeable and was spot-on with the production times. He said 2-3 weeks and they delivered within the 3rd week. I had a quote from another store - for a scrap piece they quoted me $200 MORE than what Classic Stone Gallery quoted me for a 1st choice cut. I do not know if what I paid was a good deal or not, I just know that I liked the piece and the price they quoted me was pretty much what I expected/wanted to pay for the countertop. The installation went smooth and the vanity looks amazing!

We had a good service with them. The price was reasonable. That was a great presentable effective and nothing than better appreciation.

I would hire them again. I tell all my friends that this is a company you should use when doing any granite work. The people that work there are great.

It was a real pleasure working with Classic Stone to upgrade the look of my kitchen. Joe and Vince were very patient with me especially when it came to making a final decision on the granite. There selection was huge and prices were competitive with other local companies. All of the staff including the installers were extremely professional! I highly recommend them to anyone looking to spruce up the look of their home with granite. They did a lovely job and I'm happy I decided to use them. 71sq ft- granite (Level E) ; $400 for back splash installation. I purchased the tile myself from Home Depot. New sink included. Best Cindy

Very impressed with punctuality, professionalism and courtesy. I would hire Stone Galley again in a heart beat. The quality of how the craftsmen laid the marble was impeccable and shows their true artisan abilities. Installed 1400sf of marble floors in my condo by my moving date in September of 2010. They were awesome. They were friendly, professional, timely, and the price was very good. They were very reasonable.

Classic Stone Gallery were good, but I wanted seemless countertops and they could not promise me they could do them that way. They were also located a bit away from me and weren't located conveniently enough to me for me to ride over there to see their showrooms.

We live in a very secure building that limits what contractors can and can not do in the units. For example, cutting of materials (stone, tile, wood, etc) is only permitted in our garage loading dock. This was made very clear to Classic Stone when we entered into our contract (they signed a notice acknowledging the limitations up front) but it was a source of constant complaints and delays throughout the project. A project that was estimated to take three days took almost three months. Although we ran into multiple conflicts with one of the managers at Classic Stone and at least one of his sub-contractors, both Jimmie and Melissa were professional, and tried very hard to make a difficult project come out satisfactorily.

I thought it was a great price. Classic Stone Gallery were great. They came in and measured it out correctly, they did a custom center piece in the floor, totally designed it for us, and installed it cheaper than I could have ever done it myself. They came in and were efficient, cleaned up after themselves, and the flooring looks fabulous. The installer was terrific and I plan on using him to do some work in my bathroom. They were an A. They were always early, like 7 o'clock in the morning.

We went to the home show and contacted several suppliers for granite counter tops. Of the several companys we contacted only about 3 contacted us to quote the job. Classic Stone was one that did respond (Sergio Plazza ). In fact, he came to our house, made sketchesand measurements, brought many samples, explained the differences in the samples and provided a quote (very competitve) with work options, such as, the cost if he removed the old tops or if I removed them and eistalled the sink ( I removed them at a $250 savings). After looking at the samples, we selected a couple of possibilities. To make the final slection we were invited to his facility in Tampa to select the actual slab that was used to make our tops. We highly recomend that you do this. An appointment was made for the install in about 10 days. 1 week later we were called to say the tops were ready to be installed the next day if we were ready. The install crew - 2 men arrived and about 2 hours later, the 4 sections of tops were installed complee with back stops, caulked, sealed, and their mess cmpletely cleaned up. Great job! I high recomend this company.

Overall we had good experience with Classic Stone Gallery. Joe and Melissa were very responsive and understood our needs. Steve was good in the beginning however as soon as I placed my order, he was not communicating with us. Its understandable as he is in sales. So we were in touch with Joe for our specific needs. When installer came to our place, there was something different than what we asked for. I called them and to my shock, Steve started yelling at me even without realizing that we did not talk to him about that. He hung up upon me. I could be really bitter and even hold their payment. But I let it go. Joe came next day to see but there was nothing he could do as damage was done. I can live with that (its not that major) but thats not what we wanted after spending close to seven grand on this project. We were pretty clear on this and there was no mis-communication at all. Its just they did not listen. I would have hired them again for updating my bathroom and backsplash in kitchen but I am not 100% sure now. Money is not an issue once price is finalized but I need good customer service. Pro: Price, quality, punctuality (only issue was that installers came late and they were trying to finish job in a hurry) Cons: Less communication (I was told that they will call me before cutting granite, when I reached there, it was already cut. I like most of the cutting but breakfast bar piece was not so good and I was told by Jon that it will be the best piece). Steve is a very good person but he is very busy and I wish he could be more responsive and professional. In nutshell, most of it was good. The installers were good. Overall we had good experience building our home. There were a couple of things we thought they could have done better.

Work was don on time and on budget. Here left the work area in very clean condition. We are looking at having them do additional work.

Classic Stone gallery has the most competitive prices with the best work. They didn't pressure us into putting down a deposite, they even brought over the slabs without us signing a contract for the work first. For any of your stone needs, you should definitely give them the opportunity. They show up when they say they will show up and they are a hands on company.

We wanted to replace our corian countertops with something a little brighter and less demanding. We searched Angie's list and called two of the vendors for quotes. We had also personally gone to the granite shops in our city. Once we spoke with Steve Plazzi at Classic Stone Gallery, we knew we had found just what we wanted. Steve came to our house and brought a ton of samples. He explained the differences between granite and quartz - even demonstrated! We told him that we wanted something that would go with our marble floors. He told us he had something back at the shop that we might like. We went to their showroom the following morning, made our choice, and gave them a 50% deposit. We were on vacation that week and we had hoped to have it installed while we were on vacation. Steve told us he had a full schedule but moved things around to make it happen for us! Two gentlemen came in to install the granite and were extremely professional. They came on time, finished in about 2 hours, and totally cleaned our kitchen before they left! We are so glad that we had Angie's list to turn to.
