Description of Work: Courteous, diligent, patient and a master of his trade. I watched him the whole time and he explained every bit of action and it effect and or non effect. No pressure into doing anything that was not absolutely necessary right now. I compared the work ethic with that of another company (sent by the home warranty company) who did some work on the ac/heating unit and I wished at the time I had the choice to choose. Description of Work: Replace cartridge in Moen faucet and clean slow shower head. It was done quickly and well. The shower head work was done complimentary but the cost of the faucet repair seemed very high for the type of basic faucet.

Replacing a Moen tub & shower cartridge is not always a simple task, they are notorious for getting stuck and they require special tools designed just for Moen. If you have CPVC potable hot & cold water piping extra care must be taken not to damage this fragile pipe while working on the faucet. Also if you do not use this faucet every day please turn it on and work it cold to hot at least once a week, the cartridge is know to fail if not used on a regular basis. Chuck Detari

This gentleman had us come to his home to diagnose a toilet leak in his 2nd floor master bathroom. Once there we found the toilet seal to the drain system had failed and the home owner had in an attempt to repair it himself, caulked the base of the toilet to the tile floor. This only diverted the leak to under the floor and into the ceiling below. He admitted this had been an ongoing issue. So the water damage, which caused the mold had already happened. We gave him a price to professionally replace the seal and reset the toilet. We also strongly recommended he have a certified mold removal contractor inspect the ceiling because this was toilet drain water that leaked into his ceiling and have a water extraction service dry the ceiling. He refused this recommendation. Nine moths later when the mold started showing through the ceiling he called and I went out within the hour. When I arrived he already had a drywall contractor who was not a certified mold removal contractor removing the ceiling without the properly sealing off of the area. We can only inform the home owner and refer the professional services needed we do not preform when we find other issues. If we find an electrical problem while repairing a water heater or garbage disposal, we will refer a licensed electrician. If while under a house we find a rotten beam we will refer a licensed builder. We guarantee all our work longer than anyone else because we are professional plumbers. We are not a water and mold remediation specialist, but we can refer great companies that are. My cell is 813-695-7556 and I am always available.

Description of Work: Had a leak or would say water coming up from concrete in garage near the water intake from the ground. They came when they promised but brought a water leak detector guy with special sonar equipment to locate the exact spot where the water was stemming from. That was an extra $250. Then they gave me two choices to repair. 1, ($1550)go down in the area and try to repair but no guarantee as the leak may be more or less a few inches away from the main pipe and won't be able to sweat a new fitting or 2, ($1950)go from main pipe up through the wall of the garage, etc. I chose the latter. | |So, since I was not present it is hard for me to determine if I over paid, etc. They were there less than 4 hours. Personally I thought the price was too high.

Whether it is our in house leak detection technician or a sub contractor (based on availability), the leak detection technician is only there to find the leak. A plumber then explains to the home owner all the options available, the cost of each option and what warranties come with each option. Warranties range from 30 days to a Lifetime option. These repairs often require opening the concrete floor to access the pipe buried beneath and then repairing [Member Information Removed] These are not small repairs.
