Chuck's Plumbing is pretty good and they were timely in responding to me.

The entire job was done very professional. The job was done quickly and neatly.

Plumber arrived on time. I watched the replacement operation. All work done very professionally and quickly. Took a bit over one hour. A plastic pan was placed under the new water heater to prevent the tank from contacting the concrete garage floor. No parts were left behind. Very clean and neat job.

They were good. I had 2 different techs come out. The 1st one misdiagnosed the problem. I called the second time to have them come back out and found the problem and fixed it. They gave me a discount and a good price for the issue I had.

I manage a property in South Tampa that is VERY OLD!! The Main Sewer Line was completely clogged and my tenant had a horrible mess. Chuck's sent out a great guy, Michael, who could have been the owner for as good of a job as he did. It was a rainy day with mud and puddles everywhere, he still got to the location before I did, and he didn't even make a mess! He explained everything in detail with me and got the job done within an hour! He used 3 or 4 (30ft) snakes to clean the line, and let me tell you something, that is not an easy job! they are worth every penny! I have a ton of plumbing jobs being a property manager, I will most definitely have him come back!!

I have a 15 year old hot water heater, and had low hot water pressure everywhere in the house. When I described the problem to the service tech, he didn't ask how old the hot water heater was. Instead he tapped the hot water line, and stated that the nipple on the water line was clogged. He cut off a short section of the hot water line, and showed it to me. Sure enough, it was almost totally clogged with sediment. He did the same with the cold water line, and it was clogged too. Now I have plenty of how water, and great hot & cold water pressure. I originally contacted another plumber through Angie's List, and the 1st question they asked was how old was my water heater. I'm glad that I called Chuck's Plumbing, and didn't go with the original plumber. I paid $250 for the repair, including an Angie's list discount, which is a whole lot less than being sold a new water heater that I didn't need.

It was perfect. They were polite and early. Very pleasant to speak to and very professional. The price was exactly what they said. You couldn't ask for anything more.

They turned out to be really good. They did a great job. I was very pleased and I would recommend them to anyone. I think their price was fair. I will absolutely use them again in the future.

After the first visit in late March, we noticed next week the same problem was going on. Called the company,and thought that they might have been able to get someone out that day. Did not happen this time nor the first call in March. That was the only problem I had with the company as I had water all over the place,and company. They came back out and really worked hard and found out that it was the sewer and the city needed to fix it. They made the call and the tech stayed while the city inspected and he was able to tell them his findings. Without the tech I would not have been able to explain what was going on. Thank you for your great work.

Excellent service! Received a call prior to all appointments when on way. Always arrived within agreed upon timeframe. The owner came for the initial call, then his employee returned to install the water heater, and then the owner returned a week later to inspect the work. He also corrected the water level on the 2 toilets. He was very honest about all concerns and options for resolution. I am completely satisfied with the work, the service, and the quality and timeliness of the entire experience. Would definitely call Chuck's Plumbing again for future services.

PRICING WARNING:I called this company on Monday & made an appointment explaining that I am a teacher and could only meet them after 4:30pm. I explained that I had a leaky shower value in my mobile home, and that I also wanted a quote on some work, as I planned to rehab. I explained that I did not want to run into overtime hours, I was assured that I would not as the hours were 7 to 7. The gal who answered the phone made my appt for 5 to 6, and said she would send the most experienced so that this plumber could explain the job to Chuck for proper quoting. Two days later, I had my appointment. At 6pm I called and asked if I would be seeing the plumber. Chuck answered the phone and said yes & that the plumber just left St. Petersburg (about 1/2 hour away). I asked Chuck himself if I would not be running into overtime hours because the plumber was late. He infatically said NO. He further explained that the OT charges were for those that called at 9pm. Hours are 7 to 7. I asked if he would have time to fix my problem. Chuck asked if it was a home or a manufactured home. I told him, what I had told the gal when I made the appt that it was a mobile home. He then said he might not be able to fix it if he does not have the parts. I told Chuck that I had purchased a new shower valve, just in case. He then told me that the plumber would then be able to fix it. Eric arrived & was absolutely professional, and courteous. He assessed the issue and then went back outside to the truck to get a quote. I assume he called Chuck. He returned with nothing in writing and told me that the price to change out a shower fixture would be 350.00 PLUS the service charge of 29.00. I asked how long it would take. He told me that it would take 2 and a 1/2 hours. I fainted. 175.00 and hour was a bit much. I told him I could not do that. I then called the office to share my displeasure with Chuck. Chuck immediately chastised me and was rude. He basically told me that he had done me a favor by showing up after five, this despite that his published hours are 7-7. I explained that $175 and hour was wayyyyyyyy to much. He more or less told me that I did not know what went into the job. Well, this is not my first shower fixture, and not my first rehab. The price quoted (ALTHOUGH I was NEVER given a written document & should have been) was outrageous, and the idea of Chuck telling me that I had to pay an extra value for work after 5 particularly when his tech was late & his hours are 7-7 is not right. Something is very, very wrong. Sadly, this was my first attempt at using Angies List. In this case, I got snookered. I had to pay 29.00 to learn that I either paid up the nose and shut up or I was stuck with lost time and a leaky shower.

Chuck's was competent enough, but I think there is a real game going on with pricing. The reason I called them, was because I received an email from Angie's List about saving $99. I called Chuck's because I didn't want to do the job myself. I thought, the most it would cost is $99. He came out, and I told him I had a coupon. He said the charge was going to be $200. They gave me a hard time, but they decided to honor the coupon. If someone would have called them out and they didn't have a coupon, it would have been an ridiculous.charge. I'm finding this practice is true with air conditioning people, plumbers, and electricians in the Florida area. I really have my doubts about how good Angie's List is doing. It's difficult to get a good company to work for you based on recommendations from Angie's List. My feeling is that Angie's List is making a lot of money. I'm not real impressed with Angie's List. The providers are using this list just to get on it. I sure would like to see something happen. Now that I'm back in Cleveland from spending the winter in Florida, Angie's List wants me to pay more money to use the service in Cleveland. I'm not willing to do that.

Everything went very good. They were prompt in scheduling and providing the service.

He was fantastic! The work he did was excellent, and on the ball. He was efficient, and I didn’t have to wait long for him to show up. He explained what needed to be done, and I didn’t feel as though I had been taken advantage of. I would use him again.

When I called to schedule an appointment, the lady scheduling it made some assumptions about the work to be done that made the process take longer than normal, and caused some confusion on both ends. This could've been avoided by asking the right questions. The plumber showed up about 30 minutes early, which typically isn't bad, but I wasn't home yet. There was some confusion on the job that needed to be performed, and originally the owner would not let me use the Angie's "Big Deal" that I had purchased, and added some extra "fine print" that was not on the certificate. When I mentioned that I wished to not continue with the service because of this, he gave in and allowed me to use it. Overall, the plumber who came out did great work, was very knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with. However, I felt it was slightly overpriced, and I wasn't overly satisfied with the everything outside of the actual work that was done. Again, they did do good work though, and very quickly.

I had a leaking kitchen faucet. The plumber had the required parts on his truck so the repair was completed qucikly. I would use them again.

They did a very good job. We were pleased. They came within a week.

Chuck runs a great business and is a very responsible, thorough manager. I'm very pleased with how he handled the job. He said his crew would arrive in the morning, and they just made it, pulling up at 11:52. :-) (They were finishing up another job first, so it taught me to be more specific in defining 'morning.') The job included cutting a trench across my cement courtyard and tunneling under the wall, and I have to say that the cuts were very neat and the patch pretty good, although I have some cut lines to fill in with cement. They did hit a sprinkler pipe in the course of the big dig, but they fixed it when I pointed it out to them, and it works fine now. They did their best to save the grass/sod as they were digging, also, and it looks as if it will grow back ok. Clean-up was excellent - one of the better companies I've met since I moved here. There was a bit of a tug-of-war between Chuck and my town government regarding who was responsible for the root-infested section under a patch of palm trees by the road. My town's public works guys, the neighboring town's public works guys, another sewer company from Seminole, and a whole host of characters trooped past the hole in my yard, scratching their heads. This delayed completion of the job, and Chuck ultimately decided to take care of the disputed area himiself, so that we could fill in the hole and get me back to normal. (Now my town govt is planning a working group to look into replacing the whole sewer line, so Chuck may have prodded them to action.) Throughout, Chuck was very good at keeping me informed and very professional. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again - hopefully with a project that's not so much of a headache for him.

I appreciated the plumber's honesty and willingness to stop before I incurred the additional charge, as well as the advice he gave me. I was happy enough with him, and may be willing to give the company another chance. However, I was not happy with the company's communication to me and between the customer service rep and the technician. The whole visit could have been avoided if I had been told up front about the very limited services that were possible and the cost involved. And apparently the description of the problem that I gave to the customer service rep was pointless, since it actually made clear that the problem was neither a lack of power nor a drainage problem, and therefore not something Chuck's could help with.

I recently purchased a historic home built in 1900 in Hyde Park with various plumbing issues. I chose Chuck's Plumbing due to the excellent overall reviews on Angie's list. After having met Chuck during his initial estimate walk through, I was reassured with my decision. Chuck is very knowledgeable and my overall impression was that he would take care of the Customer as opposed to squeezing as much out of you as possible. The morning of the appointment, Chuck called and stated the assigned technician he had assigned for my job was having baby sitting issues and would not be able to make it. Chuck apologized for the situation and stated he would be canceling his sales calls for the day and would personally come out to complete the job. Chuck came out and completed the job to my satisfaction! He also gave me advise on other plumbing issues I was holding off on until my remodel begins. Reviews are great and most plumbers probably can complete most jobs, but it's the level of Customer service that occurs when something doesn't go as planned that determines which plumber you want to keep. I'd say Chuck is definitely a keeper!

Professional- on time ( early in fact) performed services and resolved problem. I would use them again.

I went smooth and quick from beginniing to end. He was in and done in under 40 minutes.

Excellent service. Although it was a Saturday and it's usually hard to get an appointment with anyone on a weekend, the Chuck's technician came within an hour after I placed a call. Very porfessional, quick and good quality repair.

It went wonderful! We were so impressed that we requested a catalog from the technician to use to purchase bathroom faucets from them and for them to install in the not too distant future. We were also delighted with the technician who fulfilled our service. I believe his name is Mike.

Do-- I mentioned Angie's list when I called for an appointment. Got a $30 discount. Do-- Run hot water from your guest bathroom faucet, especially if you have one a Moen fixture ( the dial kind that you turn left and right)
