The young man that came out was very nice and a pleasure to have in the house. The work was well done and no complaints. The only reason I would not use again was that the price to just install a garbage disposal seemed very high to me - $180. Maybe I am living in the past and don't realize the cost of things in today's market.

The plumbing company responded the day I called for service. The plumber was the owner's son; he showed up on time and did a good job. It was a difficult job with some complications. He was courteous and considerate. I would consider using this plumbing company again.

I used Angie's Big Deal ($200 worth of service for $99) which turned out to be Chuck's Big Ripoff. To start with they charge a $29.95 "dispatch fee" NOWHERE in the Big Deal details did it mention this. So you are only really receiving $170 worth of "service". When they arrived they looked at the work to be done and went to the van, i guess to figure out how much to charge so they would make enough money. They came back with a price of $324 ($124 plus my $200 worth of service). I thought this was outrageous and asked for a price list of services but they would not provide one. I asked what the hourly rate was and was told "I didn't want to know". So I received a bill with no itemized fees or taxes or prices for parts they supplied. All I know is that they charge $324 to replace a sink on a patio. I think a lawyer would have charged less. I will not be using them again and I'll think twice about using any of Angie's Big Deals.

I made another call to a company also on ANGIE'S LIST, they could be here very early the next morning and it all happened as I needed it to happen. For what Mike did to help me and for the patience and assistance from owner, I would use their service and recommend them for their patience, due diligence in helping me. The charge for the service call and sticking with it until lid of septic was located is worth this charge to me. Time was the only factor causing me to seek another service.

He arrived on time, but found out the toilet he brought was broken and had to wait for another one to be delivered. He was very professional and did a good job.

Everything was done as expected. Technician was punctual and efficient and I would use Chuck's plumbing again in the future.

The job went very well. Mike was prompt,neat and very professional. He knew exactly what he was doing and did his job very well. Mike was a very nice guy who I was not only comfortable with but I felt gave me expert advice about another plumbing issue we discussed.

BEWARE! If you have money to burn, look here; otherwise look elsewhere. Pricing is two to three times higher than what is reasonable for the job based on reliable sources. No free estimates and do not look for a discount if you are in any "special group" like other service providers generally offer. Inflexible with attitude.

When we purchased the house in the last year the inspector recommended we replace the hot water heater. It was 20 years old. So since it did not die during the 12 months warranty we had on house and it was consuming quite a lot of energy for a so-so tank of heated water, i went ahead and called Chuck to give me an estimate. He came out quickly and checked our pipe size, venting, etc and then gave me an estimate with all my options. The old water heater couldn't fill my tub so I was thinking I wanted a larger tank. Chuck told me the current 50 gallon would be sufficient and it was! What a difference in water. We now have temperature set lower and much more hot water. I couldn't be more pleased.

I asked the tech how much did it cost, he said that he had to check with his boss. He went to his truck and returned 15 minutes later and said the fee was $153.00. I find 153 dollars high for less than 15 minutes of work especially when no real materials or work effort was required.

The service and professionalism was excellent. I will use Chuck's Plumbing service again in the future.

The un-professionalism of this company is truely beyond words. My water heater flooded my garage. We turned off the breaker, turned the valve to the water heater off and draining what was left of the water in the heater. This happened last weekend. I had to wait until today to have someone take a look at it. The tech who came over spent a total of 3 minutes looking at the water heater. They did not turn on the water to see where the water was leaking. After spending a grand total of 3 minutes on the water heater, the person went back to his truck and and spend 20 minutes writing up an estimate for a new water heater. I would have been fine with a new water heater, as I suspected I needed one anyway, but what really upset me is that they would not give any details as to how they came up with their conclusion. After they left, I called to get more details, as I was really curious what happened. asked that question, they said they are experienced, and "just know.". So, I said ok, can you please at least tell me where the water was leaking out? They couldn't even tell me that, and of course they wouldn't have been able too, as they never even turned on the water to determine where the water was leaking! After pushing for details, the person I spoke to on the phone, who I am assuming was Chuck, said he didn't want to do business with me, and didn't want to come back to my "disgusting house" then hung up on me. After calling him back and informing him that I am an Angie's list member and would be writing a bad review. He said his tech was a Marine and told him the condition of my house is disgusting. Well, I'm sorry if my house keeping doesn't live up to your high Marine Core standards, Mr, Chuck's Plumbing, but you aren't in business to judge how I keep my house. I work full time, have a senior citizen sleeping on my couch who would be homeless otherwise because they can't find a job, have a 4 year old, and a disabled person with back issues all living at my house and WE ARE NOT IN THE MILITARY. I can keep my house any way I like and that still has nothing to do with my questions on why you think my water heater failed, and fixing my water heater. I have had other technicians to my house before who have no issues coming back to my house for repairs! I have NEVER been treated so unprofessionally, and it gets even better! After telling him that I was going to write a bad review, he THREATENED ME telling me "tell you what you write a bad review and I'll call HRIS and complain that your child lives in deplorable conditions!" Well your threats are not going to work with me, Sir. My house may not live up to your high standards, and it may not be the lap of luxury. It may be small, and outdated in furniture and fixures, but just because its poor doesn't make it unfit to live in!! I am doing the best I can in this economy to keep my family afloat and I get judgement calls from a plumber on how I live???? My garage yes, is disgusting right now. I just had it flooded by my hot water heater and its moldy and a mess! Who's wouldn't be? My house may small and cluttered, but its not disgusting! We clean it everyday! I am just appalled that I would get this treatment. See my other reviews. I have had techs come out to my house before from other professional companies, and no one has ever mentioned this! This is just deplorable behavior. Unless you have a spotless, military kept home, stay away from this company or you may be treated like a second class citizen,be judged as a horrible human being and be reported to the authorities!

Great company. Promptly came out to repair and since they had just installed the toilet 3 months ago, did not charge anything.

I was very pleased with the plumber who came to install the new faucet which I had purchased. He was punctual, neat, personable and seemed to know what he was doing. About 2 months after the original installation, I developed a sudden leak under my sink. After turning off the water valve, I called Chuck's and they sent the same plumber out within 90 minutes. It appeared that the weight attached to the retractable faucet head had gotten caught on something under the sink and pulled apart from the inflow pipe. The plumber very quickly identified the problem and corrected it. I don't feel that the leak was the fault of the plumber but rather was caused by the short flexible hose included with the faucet from the manufacturer. I was very pleased with the quick response from Chuck's Plumbing to my emergency call and, of course, they did not charge me for that call. I will definitely use Chuck's again.

Took over 2 hrs for plumber to arrive but one he did he was very professional. He determined that the wax ring for the toilet was the issue. He replaced the wax ring and stopped the leak.

He were great. He is one of a kind. He was there when he said he was going to be and took care of my problem. He was very on point with everything.

When I called to make the appointment, I told them that the shower was leaking from the bottom, and might be a shower pan leak. The person who came to look at the shower was prompt and courteous, but said there was nothing he could do about the leak. He said we would have to make an appointment with someone else to get an estimate for the work. A second appointment was made, and that person came and said that the shower would have to be replaced to fix the issue. I asked for an estimate of that work and some other remodeling I was considering. He said he would get back to me with an estimate, which he never did.

Job well done but very expensive. Will look for a cheaper plumber next time.

We have only had the heater installed for one day. It only has two settings, hot and hotter, so we are still working out the level we need to have. We probably would have liked having a temp regulator, but will be fine with the one installed. Overall, the installation was a breeze. Friendly and reliable service.

Overall they did a great job
