Chuck's Plumbing

It went very smooth. It is obvious that Chuck's plumbing has joined the information age and understands customer service. He is a professional and knows his occupation as well. (He routinely updates checklist and calls to make sure his technicians are performing everything on the up & up). He sends photos of personnel and ensures that they arrive on time and you are happy. The Big deal being an inspection in addition to service is obviously meant to find additional items and perform the services. Which I am ok with as I felt they were honest and only identified things that needed to be fixed or were a concern. The prices on the additional work seemed high, but it was done at the estimate provided, on site, professionally, and without issue. All and all it was a good experience. I felt I was treated better than I expected as a customer. Prices were a bit higher for follow-on work, but I did not feel they were unreasonable for a professional plumber vice a handyman.

Our experience with them was great. They did not charge us anymore than the $49 big deal that we purchased. We would definitely recommend them. They showed up on time, and he knew exactly what the problem was immediately and had everything there to fix it. So, he was really a competent guy, and we would definitely use them again if we had anymore plumbing issue.

THE TOILET WAS BROUGHT HERE BY THEM AND INSTALLED WITHOUT PROBLEMS. I ALSO WANTED MY DRAIN IN MY SHOWER REPLACED BUT HE COULD NOT DO IT. I ALSO WANTED THE BAR HOLDING THE SHOWER HEAD REPLACED AND HE COULD NOT DO IT. I WANTED THE DRAIN IN MY BATHTUB REPLACED AND HE COULD NOT DO IT AND HE ALSO TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS NEVER A PIPE ATTACHED TO THAT DRAIN AND ALL WATER WAS GOING UNDER THE HOUSE. I HAD NO IDEA HE COULD HAVE FIXED THAT ALSO - BUT HE NEVER OFFERED AND I FOUND OUT LATER IT WAS SOMETHING PLUMBERS DO. THE PERSON WHO CALLED ME TOLD ME HE COULD FIX IT BUT THAT THE PERSON WHO ORIGINALLY INSTALLED MY OTHER DRAINS SHOULD COME BACK AND DO IT FOR FREE. THE KITCHEN SINK AND FAUCET WAS INSTALLED OK AFTER I HAD TO GO BACK TO STORE AND PURCHASE A DIFFERENT ONE. THE ONE I BOUGHT HAD CLIPS ON THE BOTTOM THAT WOULD NOT FIT INTO THE EXISTING HOLE AND HE SAID IT WOULD HAVE TO BE DRILLED OUT AND WOULD MAKE A MESS ON EVERYTHING IN THE KITCHEN.

They were very professional, were on time and quickly assessed/corrected the problems. I would use their services again if I needed to.

The job was accomplished without a hitch. Additionally, the plumber took great pride in his work and was very neat.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They came out and basically told me that the coupon that I purchased wasn't for what I actually needed done and ended up charging me an additional $189. He said that the tune up was basically only for flapper and I had a different issue and then he told me that I needed to have another seal or something looked at but when I called a plumber and I was telling him and he goes, "No, if I had been looking, you'd have water on the floor. He pretty much took you for that one." And that was of course an additional $100. It was my fault for using somebody that I've never used before because it was a lot cheaper than it normally would but it is what it is. He did the work and spent the time doing what he needed. Obviously he did some extra stuff that I didn't find out until afterwards that didn't really need to be done. They got back to me pretty quick. It was probably a month that I didn;t hear form them so I called them and they got me in pretty quickly.

The technician Chase was amazingly clean and thorough. He arrived 10 minutes before the scheduled appt. and waited in the truck for 5 minutes, which I thought was really cool. He was clean (and the truck looked like it was just washed) and professional. He listened to me without interrupting and then honestly gave me options with prices to choose from for my sink issue Chuck's plumbing was recommended to my by a good friend and this is the second time I have used them and felt ZERO regret for the money spent. The plumber was well dressed and there was no hesitation to let him in my home as I was alone. I would without a doubt, recommend Chuck's Plumbing to all my friends and family. In fact they put in two handicap toilets at my parents home in Seminole. The price was right , they were respectful and polite to my parents and they have had NO problems with the toilets since that day. That was 6 or 7 years ago.

The big deal was okay. I needed them to do work on my toilet. I felt like to job was more than they could handle, so I hired someone else to do the work.

?Avoid Chuck?s Plumbing. It is a ?rip-off.? On July 1, 2013, Chuck?s tried to charge us $229.00 for a quick job of merely changing the wax ring under our toilet. We had to pay Chuck?s $29 minimum service charge to come to our house?only 10-15 minutes away. However, in the yellow pages we immediately found many licensed, bonded, insured plumbers, all of whom gave us total prices between $80 and $85 for the same, simple, wax-ring job---for which Chuck?s tried to charge almost triple that amount. Change the $2 ring yourself (just unbolt the two toilet bolts)---or call someone three times cheaper, as we did. We now wonder whether the supposedly good recommendations that Chuck's has on Angie?s List were ?planted? by the company and its friends. We had to pay $29 to learn a valuable lesson about plumbers---and maybe Angie?s List.

I purchased deal on Angie's list. They had an appointment for me within a week. They were very accommodating when I called to see if I could change my time block. I like that they send a confirmation email with the name and picture of the tech that is coming out. William came to the house diid all the prescribed work. He did a wonderful job and was very courteous. I will use this company again.

Mike called and arrived on time. He was very professional and friendly. He checked our leaky kitchen faucet and found that it was just a hose clamp that had come loose. He snapped it back in place and the faucet worked perfectly. He only charged us for the service call. Great to do business with an honest company!!

The repairman can on time. Determined the problem with the old water heater (leak). he recommended a replacement and I agreed with him. It took him about an hour and a half to drain down and remove the old unit and replace the new one. The only hitch was a shorted wire to the frame in the unit itself. It tripped the breaker when the power was turned on. It was a manufacturing error, not the installers fault. It was repaired and powered up without further incident. It's working fine.

Being a first time home owner and a new mom I have never hired a plumber before. I found Chuck's Plumbing on Angie's list and the entire experience was first class.

It was simple and quick. Chuck's Plumbing fixed what needed to be fixed. That was pricey considering that there were two small things that needed to be done. I wasn't even sure that the tubes needed to be replaced. He didn't give me any problems. I asked him to give me an estimate on replacing all the tubing in the house. I never got that down.

Installer was on time and very professional. Made many suggestions before installing. The suggestions were spot on as my house is 10 years old and needed some mods on the plumbing to make everything work perfect. Technician took extra time to ensure the job was done perfect.

They were very professional, showed up on time when he said he would, he wore the little booties on his feet so he did not get my floors dirty, very cordial and professional, he did his work and did a great job.

Hired to unclog, I had already snaked the toilet, so was hoping for a bit of plummers magic to fix my 10 years old's habit of flushing stuff that shouldn't be flushed down the toilet. No magic, however, the worker and the owner provided me with good service and a good deal that made me very happy about there work. Ended up putting a new toilet in - which wasn't what I wanted, but the diagnosis may have called for it (old toilet, lots of backup). New toilet has worked very well, just praying the 10 year old has learned his lesson after snaking his own poo!

I used an Angie's List Big Deal special purchase for this service. They cut no deals and looked out of their book for each individual service so it ended up not being very much of a deal. I think I had to pay about another $100. Everything was fine. The plumber was a polite enough guy but was a little odd; he talked a lot. They came out, did the work and left. It definitely felt like they were aware I was using a coupon so they gave me the prices they used for coupons. It was not a great experience but was nothing horrible where I would call the Better Business Bureau. This is not a company I am going to go back to.

The deal description includes: inspecting and adjusting the fill valve, cleaning the flush valve seat, replacing the worn flapper, dye testing toilet to ensure proper seal, adjusting the tank lever operation, and whole house plumbing inspection. Why include all of this if that is not what they were willing to do?

I would definitely use them again and recommend to others.

Very polite and professional experience. I called on a Thursday evening and spoke with Chuck himself. They are open until 8 PM and this allowed me to get the work scheduled the very next day. Mike arrived on time and did work very quickly and explained what he did and why.

Overall the experience was good. Because I had purchased an Angie's List Big Deal, i.e. $200 worth of Plumbing for $99, I received a credit to apply for future use.

Plumber was on time, professional, and gave good tips to prevent future clogs. We will use this service again in the future. We purchased a voucher and the plumber did the work and said we even had a credit for the next service.

I had a deal with him for $200 worth of plumbing work for $119. He came out initially to look at my toilet. They are very nice and friendly and showed up exactly when they said they would. He took a look at the toilet and unplugged it in about 2 minutes and that was that. I still had a balance from my deal so I asked him to look at my kitchen sink. He told the that a piece I had on there was useless and he could replace it, but it would cost me more then I was prepared to spend at the time. I still had a balance on my account so I gave him a call a few weeks later when I was having problems with my water heater. He came out and took a look at the water heater, and told me I needed a new thermostat. He went out and got a thermostat to install but the wires on that thermostat were not long enough to work for my water heater. He then told me that he thought he might be able to get the old thermostat to work. He was able to get the old thermostat working just fine and told me that he would just charge me for the cost of a brand new one. I did not like that deal. I was not getting a new thermostat so I didn't want to pay for one. It turned out he just reset my old one. I told him I would pay for the service charge but not a new thermostat. It really just seemed like he tried to get as much from me as he could and it is a shame because I would have loved to use them again. They were very friendly, returned all of my phone calls and showed up when they said they would. Unfortunately because they tried to charge me more I will not use them again. ***UPDATE*** The service provider actually called me back after I left this review and chewed me out! This is very unprofessional and inappropriate. I do not appreciate this and will not use this service provider again in the future! It is very unacceptable. This is very unfortunate because the service technicians who came out to my home were very professional, polite, and knowledgable. It was the owner who was the problem in this instance.

Eric arrived promptly and assessed the work to be done. I thought the entire assembly would need to be replaced, but he saved us the money and told us only the cartridge needed replacement. Eric had the needed parts on-hand and performed the work quickly and accurately. He had to walk back and forth to the truck to get multiple tools and donned/doffed his shoe-cover-booties each time! I told him he didn't need to do that, but he insisted. Eric answered all of my questions and was very knowledgeable. I recommend Chuck's Plumbing highly and will use them again in the future.
