Chuck's Plumbing

While Chuck's Plumbing was having a very busy day and arrived later then planned, the technician (Bobby) was very pleasant and very helpful in resolving my repairs. He stayed several hours past 5pm to ensure the repairs were completed to my satisfaction. I would HIGHLY recommend Chuck's Plumbing to everyone.

People answering the phone and scheduling were nice. Plumber didn't make the 2 hour window, but they did call to inform me so I was ok with that part. When he did arrive and I asked him for price for both items to be installed. He quoted me $266 to install the faucet! I was shocked and said that seemed high to me. "Compared to what", he said. Then I asked how much for the disposal. He said he had to go to his truck to look it up. He returned about 10 min later and quoted me $225 to install the disposal. (mind you, it was installing a like for like disposal so should have been somewhat easier) for a total of $491. I was totally floored and asked for a written estimate which he prepared and gave me. I called Home Depot (where I bought the faucet and disposal) and they quoted me $198.01 to install both! That was doing the exact same job (installing faucet/sprayer, Installing disposal replacing collar with new). Nearly $300 difference! Needless to say Home Depot's plumbing contractor came out and installed, did a beautiful job and saved me close to $300. Chucks Plumbing prices were way too high. I didn't remark on quality of work, since technically they didn't do any work for me, just quoted me a price which was outrageous.

I really appreciated the email the day before with the technicians name and photo. The background check info was an added plus! Bobby arrived on time and was friendly and knowledgeable. It was a super price and he was terrific to deal with. I would definitely use him again to do future work.

It was great. They came and did exactly what they said they were going to do. They were very personable and professional.

The provider answered all of the various questions I had in simple terms. He was very polite and friendly. He quickly solved a problem with my kitchen faucet which had just occurred that morning. Bobby was prompt and very polite. He was very neat and mindful of the surroundings, both indoors and outside.

I didn't really use the whole service, I got some left over. But they did come out and they were honest with me so I felt it went really well actually. I remember something with the punctuality that was a little off, maybe they didn't call or they weren't within the exact time frame.

They had a really good price. They did a great job. I had water from outside coming into my house. I don't know what was going on. My nephew had turned the wrong nozzle and put it off to the house. The whole area where that was, was just really a really shabby PVC pipe found together. He took that all out for me. He put it a new brass fitting. He separated the new outside spicket from the water main cut off to the house so that it wouldn't happen again. He was really good. He got here quickly. He was here when he said he would be. He did a great job. His fee was very acceptable. I would absolutely use them in the future.

Flushing of Water Heater went fine. They were supposed to do a check of my plumbing, but that never happened. They were also late.

It went fine, everything is okay with the faucet.

Bobby the technician for Chuck's Plumbing arrived 30 minutes before the time range I was quoted. He quickly assayed the situation and made several recommendations that made the installation of the sink and water line much easier than I had anticipated. Bobby also helped me move a cabinet to a different location, and installed the water line for the ice maker in a quick, efficient and timely manner. Bobby is obviously a journeyman professional who enjoys his work and pleasing his customers. This is the second time I have used Chuck's Plumbing and will never call anyone else for my plumbing needs. My thanks to Chuck and Barbara also for their guidance and willingness to accommodate my needs. This is an excellent company.

Didn't like what Chuck told me in phone conversation to set appointment. Wasn't forthcoming about how much his company charges per hour or in giving general idea of how much cost would be to install new sink disposal. Chuck said he does not give ANY info about possible job costs by phone. I don't like that he refused to divulge what his hourly rate is. Offer was for $200 worth of service. At a rate of $100/hour, that would be two hours of service. When I suggested that, Chuck said, "No, that's not what the offer says. It says, '$99 for $200 worth of plumbing services.'" The only thing he would talk about was the $29.95 charge for a service call. I felt he was not being honest about how much "service" was actually going to be provided for my $99.

All aspects of appt went great. Excellent communication, explained all needed repairs and did not rush, very careful with making sure area remained cleaned. I will use again for any future plumbing needs.

Paul the plumber that was sent to our home was great. He is very knowledgeable. We purchased a deal from Angie's List to clean the pipes and see what is going on with a camera. We purchased the deal yesterday and had the service completed today. That is what I call great customer service and fast great work. We received an email after purchasing the deal, and we called and set the appointment. Everyone I dealt with was super helpful and very knowledgeable. I am so happy to have found Chuck's plumbing. This morning we received a phone call and an email with Paul's picture so we would know what he looked like. I just cannot say enough great things about this company.

The plumber arrived on time. He was courteous, professional and explained what he was doing. He made recommendations for plumbing in my home and particularly in the kitchen. He had to take the time to work with my water filter unit and did a great job. At first it was leaking but he took the time and did the job right.

I was very impressed from the initial contact with Chuck's plumbing. I purchased an Angie's List deal for $99 for $200 worth of plumbing services. I called and spoke with Chuck to determine how much of the work that I needed would be covered by the deal. He was friendly, helpful and informative. He kindly gave me a couple of suggestions on what toilet to purchase. I scheduled the appointment and they were available within two days. On the day of the service, I received an email with a picture of the plumber who would be coming out and a security check report showing the date of the last criminal background check. I really appreciated this service. About an hour before they were due I got a call stating he would be right on time for the beginning of the appointment span and he was. William was very professional and courteous. He put shoe covers on before he entered the house and was friendly and patient with my questions. He worked carefully and was very tidy. He did a great job installing the toilet that I had purchased and left the bathroom as clean as he found it. He got our bathtub drain unclogged and I was pleasantly surprised to learn there was a 1 year guarantee on the unclog. William also diagnosed the problem with our garden tub faucet and gave me an estimate on the repair and what it would involve. He also noticed a new shower door seal that was sitting on the counter and installed it for me at no charge. I would definitely recommend Chuck's Plumbing and will use them for all of my plumbing needs in the future.

Michael & Bobby did a really great job for us as well as the crew that dug the trench for the new pipe. We couldn't have been happier. We had just purchased a real fixer of a property and had a leak (somewhere) in our plumbing as the meter would not stop running. So we figured we would have Chuck's come out & take a look and while they are at it we'd use the Angie's List coupon they had at the time & get 3 new toilets installed (and you dont want to know what those 3 old ones looked like). It was really bad news to discover the main pipe needed to be replaced but I can't say it shocked me given that it ran under an enormous oak tree. But the guys got right to work on it & gave us a fair price for everything. Knocked everything out in a day and even fixed a gurgling problem in the house that I didnt even realize we had (air in the house pipes). Outstanding work and great people. Really did us right. Would definitely have them out again for the next job we have.

These services are for a residential rental property that I own, and have had tenant occupied since 1999. Since the tubs and controls were old, I had hired another Angie's List contractor to refinish my tubs. I had also decided to replace the old hardware with new shiny ones, and my husband and I were going to change the hardware on our own. We had purchased replacement Delta hardware at our local Home Depot. However, my husband realized that he could not replace the hardware, and we needed to hire a professional plumber. Through Angie's List, I found Chuck's Plumbing. From contacting them for the very first time, through the end of the service, the office personnel and Chuck were very friendly, professional, and efficient keeping me informed of all scheduling and arrival timeframes of the plumber. Since I found out mid-way through the refinishing project that the new tub surface had to cure for 24 hours, I had to reschedule the plumber's visit until the next day. Chuck's was very easy to work with to change the appointment. The next day the plumber arrived during the service interval, and as I had requested, called me to confirm he was on-the-way, so I could meet him there. Upon arrival, he sat with me to assess the parts that I had bought, advise that one of the kits I had bought was the wrong one (which my husband went right out and corrected) and provided an estimate to perform the work I requested. I accepted his estimate, and he went right to work! He replaced both tub controls, calibrated and tested them - without a single scratch to my new tub finish! He was friendly, professional and courteous, and took great effort to keep his work area organized and ensure that my new tub finish was not compromised. Thanks Chuck's Plumbing!

I called Chuck's to get a ball-park estimate on installing a water heater we had purchased. He called me back right away and was very professional. I do appreciate that he was willing to quote a price over the phone, but I write this review mainly for others to have a basis for price comparison. The price quoted for labor was very high - $399 plus an additional $29 service fee, for a total of $428.00. We already paid $225 for the heater so it would have ended up costing $653. I called another plumber regarding the same work (24-7) and they quoted me $175 plus an necessary parts (estimated less than $35). We ended up going with 24-7. I will post a review on them as soon as the work is completed..

The 1 tank with the replacement of all the parts is working fine. It is much louder than the old set up I had. The flaps replaced on the other two don't seem to have made much of a difference. They still get hung up at times and I still have water leaving out of the tank (which was my initial problem). I was also charged a service charge, which hadn't been mentioned prior to them coming out. I did use two Angie's list coupons, which seemed to be a problem and so I guess to recoup the money lost on the coupons I was charged the $50 or $60 dollar service fee. If there is a policy limiting the number of coupons than can be used, I think that should be stated on the coupon. Customers should also be advised about the service charge up front.

Very nice job. Prompt. Had the part available and replaced the gasket that was worn and also replaced the one on our other sink. This was part of the daily deal special they run. Gave me an estimate for additional work I was interested in. Haven't done it yet, but would use them again.

Ok, Will (plumber sent out) was AWESOME!! I was told he'd arrive between 10am and 12pm. Well... he called at 9:45am to say that he'd arrive in 45 minutes and was here in less than 30 minutes! He was upfront about what needed to be done and took the time to explain what he was doing. I really appreciated his candor and will be asking for him by name if anything needs to be done in the future. Thanks Will!

The service for the water heater flush went well. I asked if the leaking from the overflow valve could be replaced to stop the dripping which he did without presuring me to replace the water heater. In addtion I received quotes to replace sinks and install a water conditioner. I would recommend Chuck's Plumbing.

Chuck's Plumbing was very quick to respond to my inquiry about service. It was easy to schedule a time for the service to be performed. They were prompt and courteous when they arrived. They were able to complete the project very efficiently and cleaned up before they left. I would highly recommend Chuck's for any plumbing needs.
