Brian at Ceramitec is one of the most meticulous and precise individuals I have ever had the pleasure to work with. He is true expert in his craft offering insights and suggestions that made our bathroom remodel even better than we could have imagined. For example, we were not aware of Schluter edging which ended up being the perfect suggestion to accent the oiled-bronze hardware we had already installed. In addition, Brian was unfailingly punctual showing up each day exactly when he said he would. He kept the worksite tidy and protected our bathroom leaving it better than when he started. It is clear that Brian took great pride in his work and is a true professional. He actually went above and beyond the original remit of the project to make sure it looked perfect. I would recommend him to anyone that is seeking tiling work.

We absolutely love the floors Brian installed for us and have recommended him to numerous individuals. We pulled up our carpet due to our dogs and the terrazzo floors underneath needed a lot of repair. We decided at that point to put down a wood look tile throughout the home. Brian was one of a handful of quotes we obtained. We decided to go with Brian as his quote was reasonable and he was extremely knowledgeable in this space. He guided us to use a better tile which I believe saved us having to repair tiles over the years. We had an addition with a concrete floor and his meticulous attention to detail was not only appreciated as he created a continuous seam from one flooring to the next which is perfect. We receive compliments from many of our guests and most cannot tell our one room is an addition due to the amazing flooring job. We highly recommend this contractor and would use him again on a future project.

Brian did a great job and even fixed the errors of the plumber who installed the shower pan. He does quality work and I wish I had not listened to my association and hired him from the beginning to do the mudding and install the liner instead of the plumber.

Brian was extremely professional and great at communicating prior to starting the work (such as when a total newbie to this sort of thing - meaning me- needed help clarifying the materials I needed to pick out for work to start) as well as during the work phase. He kept us apprised of the status of the work the entire time. And the quality of work is great. We feel very relieved that we were able to find his services through Angie's List and honest reviews. We plan to hire him for work in the future.

A great job by Brian, quick reply for an estimate, arrived on time, knows his stuff & gives thought & ideas on project, easy to work with, left area clean each day, even washed up the floor. He did the little details that prove he is a talented craftsman & takes pride in his work. He called the day after completion as a followup that all was OK. Will use again and refer to friends and family. We supplied the tile & grout, he supplied the rest.

Brian was so fantastic to work with. My husband and I had ripped out our previously installed backsplash after a handyman did a really terrible job cutting and installing the backsplash. Our drywall was left in bad condition with divots and chunks of dried glue everywhere. It was a mess. Brian was so helpful and did a great job both designing and installing the backsplash. He also worked very cleanly. Highly recommend.

It went very well. We are very pleased with our new bathroom. He was very prompt every day. He talked thru all of the details of the redo with us, with lots of great suggestions to help us work thru it together. He does beautiful work! He is very meticulous about the details and making sure it looks great. He made sure that we were happy with it too. We are very happy with it, will definitely use him again to do other jobs for us. Would definitely recommend him to others. I posted lots of pictures on Facebook and 3 friends asked for his number!

Brian arrived on time Monday morning and got right to work. The carpet was removed from the master closet downstairs, and upstairs the 10 porcelain tiles and backer board were removed and the carpet was cut back. Both areas were properly prepared for the new floor install. The new floor is beautiful with a very thin grout line as requested, and Brian mixed two colors of grout to give the best match for the tile to give it the appearance of wood. He quoted 4 days to finish the job, and on Day 4, the only thing left to do was reattach the carpet where it had been cut back to make room for the new upstairs kitchen floor area. My original plan was to put regular porcelain tile that would match the rest of the house, but I found pictures of other work that Brian had completed, and I am so glad that we went with Ceramictec to install the new wood-look plank tiles. Brian does a great job so he is very busy; as a result, it took a bit longer to get on his schedule for the job, but it was well worth it! I would definitely use Brian at Ceramictec to install tile again!

We had to remove the original oak parquet from our guest bedroom because of water damage. The baseboards and some of the wood under the plaster walls had also been ripped out so everything would dry. The adhesive under the flooring was sticky tar. It was a total mess! We bought tile similar to the wood floor color in the rest of the house and called Brian for an estimate. We know Brian does quality work because he installed wood plank tile in our kitchen. He knows how to set tile close together to minimize the grout line. He also staggers the pattern so it looks more like wood. Brian explained he would deal with the black tar by encapsulating it with a skim coat. Fortunately, he was able to work us into his schedule to do the skim coat pretty quick. Then he returned and in 2 days laid all the tile in the room & closet, grouted, installed new baseboards and the transition threshold. He needed to replace some of the boards under the plaster walls to attach the baseboards so he also made a trip to the store, purchased the wood and installed it for us. It was hard to lose the original wood floor but Brian did a great job with the plank tile and we are pleased with the end result.

Brian of Ceramictec is a master craftsman, and a nice guy who is a pleasure to work with. This was a difficult job involving a complete refinishing of our master bath and vanity including installation of very delicate and very expensive Carerra marble and water jet tile. We would only entrust this installation to an expert. Brian leveled the floors, fixed imperfections in the walls, and measured, cut and installed the marble expertly. His attention to detail was extremely impressive. The finished job is wonderful and a showcase of his talent. Brian showed up on time every day and worked through to the end of each day and finished the job on time and in budget. His work site was clean, before, during and after each day's work. There was no loud noise, and no disruption of our daily routine. He asked questions where appropriate an made suggestions that were welcome and approved. We very much look forward to working with Brian again on our second bathroom project. We also have recommended him to all of our friends and neighbors.

I did a lot of research prior to renovating three bathrooms. I wanted to use the Kerdi shower system and Brian seems to have extensive knowledge about the product based on his information all over the internet. He also had excellent reviews so I was really looking forward to having Brian do the work. I called him during the holidays and he was taking time off, which I understand. I tried reaching out to him several weeks later and his response time was always slow. I finally got Brian to meet me out at the home and a week later I had to follow up to ask when I would get his quote. He got it to me the next day and his price was outrageous- to the point of insulting. I have a very large home and it seemed like Brian quoted based on the size of the home and not the actual project(the baths were actually quite small-not the master.) Just to make sure I wasn't crazy, I had two other contractors come out who are qualified to install the kerdi system and both were half the price. Brian either has too much business or he thinks his potential customers do not do research. I was not looking for the cheapest person out there- quite the opposite. Just looking for someone to do a quality job for a fair price. If you have a large home expect Brian's price to be double the going rate.

I would definitely use this company again and would not hesitate to refer Brian and his firm. Brian was great! I needed my laundry room tile removed and re-tiled so I could get new washer and dryer in. He set-up the work so could get it done quickly. Removed and hauled the old tile away being careful not to damage the connection with the wood floors I have. Did a great job laying the new tile. Was friendly, responded immediately, and great work!!!

This is the 2nd job Brian has done for us. He did a similar job to a previous home we owned. Both jobs were excellent, well priced, and crafted with pride by Brian and his helper. We get CONSTANT complements on his work and it truly makes a huge difference in the curb appeal and value of our home. I would highly recommend Brian because he is professional about the business side but then also a talented and conscientious craftsman with his trade.

We have used Brian, Ceramictec, before to do the backsplash in our kitchen. He comes very highly recommended on Angie's List and Garden Web and a master tiler from New England endorses him and his work on his website. This job went very smooth, perfect from estimate to completion. We provided the tile and then in consultation with Brian, we picked a grout and bought it. I was very concerned about the demolish mess - dust and broken tiles - but he was prepared with drop cloths and barrels. He always anticipates every detail. For example, he did the demolishing on garbage pickup day and worked with the Waste Management guys to get everything onto their truck, so we didn't have a lot of material hanging around and he didn't have to haul it to the dump. He is a highly skilled craftsman, using the latest in leveling and spacing methods and materials. But he stills has to bring a very high level of expertise and skill to the work. All the grout lines are small and perfect and line up from floor to shower floor to shower walls. He recommended and installed a Schluter edging system that really completed the job. He made sure that all surfaces drained water correctly. On two tiles around the window in the shower, to make the job symmetrical, he cut in two fake grout lines. It's details like that that make us call him for every tile job we have have. We have another bath coming up in a month or two, but we can wait until he's available. We're not using anyone else. Everyday he put the progress of our job on his Facebook for his fans and friends to follow. He's rightly proud of his good work.

I choose beveled edge marble backsplash for my kitchen. Brian arrived with an assistant and got to work. What an extreme professional. The job was performed with great precision and attention to detail. In fact, no detail was too small. The beautiful thing ... there was no cleanup when they were done. Brian returned today. Tiled my laundry room with the same attention to detail. The level of service from Brian is amazing. Not your typical contractor, for sure. Above and beyond on this small job. I appreciate the excellent customer service Pics can be seen at: http://ceramictec.wordpress.com/2014/06/05/sun-city-center-florida-subway-marble-backsplash/

Brian came out and gave me an estimate on removing the tub and flooring and replacing with a shower stall and new tile flooring. We set the date and Brian and his helper showed up every day at the same time and worked hard all day. Brian did everything he said he was going to do. He did a very good job on the shower tile and installed a new toilet. He hauled away all the trash from the bathroom and cleaned up each night. He estimated the work would take a week and it was completed when he said it would be. I was pleased so with Brian's work ethic and how he and his helper conducted themselves at my home that I had Brian return and complete a kitchen backsplash for me. Brian was knowledgeable about the processes and procedures and very professional. He did a very good job. I could tell when he was finished that he was proud of his work, too. I would definitely hire Brian again without reservation.

I contacted Brian Shute of Ceramictec based on his many positive Angie's List reviews. He came to our home to evaluate the project -- and material selection -- and offered suggestions on how best to install, what additional items to consider and purchase. Within a day, he provided a detailed written estimate. We then scheduled the tear-out and installation days. Brian assumed responsibility for ordering tile and trim, and picked them up from the supplier. He arrived promptly on all days as promised. He and Jake tore out the existing tile and repaired all damaged areas in preparation for subsequent installation. On installation day, he and Jake meticulously cut and installed approximately 45 square feet of split-face marble tile - a notoriously-difficult product -- over two days. They returned the third day to finish a few details, including some grouting. Brian and Jake are pleasant, thorough and real craftsmen. They worked diligently and completed the project on time and as promised. I will use Ceramictec again and highly recommend them.

Brian and his team member did fantastic work. We provided the marble tiles and the grout, they did the rest. We wanted the tiles placed on the diagonal which, as you can see in the pictures, was no problem. I had major issues getting the right accent tiles and Brian went above and beyond and picked them up for me on his way. I have no reservations recommending Ceramictec. We had our wood floors ruined by water. Instead of installing wood again, we purchase Heathland Pecan 6 X 24 wood look planks. I took quite a bit of time looking for a tile contractor but after seeing several pictures online and reading comments, I felt very comfortable with Brian, the owner of Ceramictec doing the work. Brian came in the day after the wood floors were ripped up and inspected the concrete. He fixed an area that needed to be leveled with concrete so that the tile would lay properly. This was not something that he had expected to do, but seemed to take it in stride. On Monday, Brian and his helper came back and started to lay the tile. I don't think that I have ever seen a contractor take so much pride in his work. The job took all week. Brian was organized, clean, punctual (if not early), honest and careful with every tile that he laid. When he did an area of grout to see how it looked, it was much lighter then the samples. We quickly picked out another grout, picked it up and the job was completed on time. We have had Brian call several times to be sure that we are happy and like the floors. I feel like if we ever need any tile work done in any house we own (current or future homes) I will definitely have Ceramictec do the job and would recommend him highly to others.
