Case Plumbing

The gentleman that came was an older gentleman, not that that should matter, but he definitely had the experience, knew what to do and reacted quickly. We had a burst pipe, so he was very helpful.

Case Plumbing did everything for $140. Amazing. CAUTION: do NOT use the similarly named company "Cash Plumbing" . They wanted $1500 for the same job. Don't bring the wrong people in. Remember: CASE PLUMBING: $140 . Cass Plumbing: $1500. both quoted the same job.

This was the second of two plumbers we had out to provide a diagnosis and quote to repair or replace a drain line in the crawlspace, where rodents were potentially getting in per our trapper's smoke test. We did not want to influence this plumber's diagnosis by indicating the other plumber's findings. This plumber completely missed a huge hole in the line (instead replaced a coupling elsewhere that may have been a minor issue, but nothing compared to the gaping hole further down the line). We asked him to be sure there were no other issues (since there was no way rodents were getting in where he changed the coupling) and he did then catch the big hole in the cast iron portion of the line. So that wasn't terribly impressive but it is what it is. We were still happy to work with them if they provided the better quote. However, they never provided one, despite my even following up by phone and asking for it again, a few days later. That part is far from impressive and we were very happy with the other plumber that we did end up using (will of course leave a separate review).

Not great. I explained what the appliance repair company told me and showed the plumber the washer. He insisted the issue was not the drain pipe. The entire 2 hours he worked at my home he complained how complicated and difficult the job was. I had to explain where the appliance tech had told me the problem would be. I even had to supply a screwdriver to take the washer apart and help pull the washer out from the wall. I was told the problem was a pipe back up with the kitchen sink (the washer is in the kitchen). The tech went on the roof to clear the pipes, etc. He seemed confused much of the time. When he left he claimed everything worked. Unfortunately, this is not the case. I turned the washer on to do a load - water flooded everywhere all over again. I called the answering service to get the tech back. He came back and tried clearing the lines again, this time with a larger cable. He said he was nervous to use the larger snake in case it got stuck. The second time worked, but it was frustrating to have to spend so much time when it could have been done right the first time.

All members of Case Plumbing with whom I interacted seemed to genuinely want to help me. I spoke with Dennis by phone more than once and he was open with suggestions. He didn't seem to mind at all that he was helping me resolve some items on my own. So when it came time to call in a professional they were top of my list. Dennis was very clear on how they charge and that transparency was important to me. I had one item I definitely wanted done (replace the garbage disposal) and 3 others only if the first one went smoothly in order to contain the hourly rate cost. Victor and Kenny called first and arrived punctually. Both were very friendly but ready to get right to work. I could tell that there had been good communication with the office because they knew exactly what I was trying to accomplish. They both got started on the disposal but when it got to a point where it became a one-person job that Victor took the lead on, Kenny inquired about the other projects and took care of them. He and Victor ended almost simultaneously. I feel like they were both careful but smart about how they worked and very efficient. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again for any plumbing needs.

Called first thing in the morning, they came when I requested, didn't try to upsale me while giving useful advice. They completed the job timely and left the area clean. I'm very satisfied.

This provider gave me the info I needed to fix a problem. I'm not a pro at this, but when he explained this to me via e-mail I was able to fix the problem easily. This is as honest as it gets, and I am grateful for Mike's assistance. If I ever have a problem, Case Plumbing will be the first plumber I call.

It was excellent. They were quick and did everything cost effectively. Overall, we were very happy with their service. I thought that they're honest and did their work very well. They did great work at a reasonable cost.

Great job. Arrived on time and removed existing faucet and installed new faucet in bathroom sink (in a confined place). Job was completed in a short period of time and looks great. Very punctual aftyer we called and appointment made. Very satisfied with job and will definetly use again, should the need arise.

I trust his judgement, and if he is incorrect, he will make the necessary adjustments...very fair, honorable owner.

My toilet was overflowing and I called them about a month ago. I called them, as it was an emergency, and I shutoff the water. They came, it was this Monday, and went around and did absolutely nothing, except that I had already taken care of it pretty much, because I had plunged the toilet and everything. Then they came back the next day after charging me emergency hours, etc., for 4 hours. When they came back the next day he said he was going to pull up all the toilets of all three bathrooms, and put a camera down them and check them. So, I cleaned out all three bathrooms, I got the shower curtains out of the way and the bath mat, etc. He came and he did not even think about doing that, went up on the roof and said that he was going to put a camera down the thing up on the roof, which he already found the day before that the camera did not go down. So then he did the same thing again. Then there was a leak in the bathtub that I had discovered and he put a big chrome of that behind my wall, of which you never put a chrome behind walls, because it is kind of extremely expensive, you only put chrome when it is going to be exposed to the product. The guy was extremely rude. Apparently there were some debris in the waste lines and he dumped it in the middle of the front steps and left it there. I had no idea it was there, and so it was there for about two weeks before I even discovered it. Everything single thing that I said to him he just completely ignored me and dismissed everything I said. The second day when he came he was 5 hours late and I was supposed to be understanding because he was on Bayshore, so I was supposed to completely understand because he was doing a big house on Bayshore and the woman spent $7000 on all of her chrome exposed plumbing, which is I know is where he got the chrome piece that he put in my wall because he could not return it. He recommended to have the toilets pulled next time, that is what he writes on the bill and I was like "you got to be kidding me," because that is what he was supposed to do. This guy was just such a pompous, arrogant, and I could not even believe it. He treated me like I was just some dump woman, housewife that had like no clue about anything, which is extremely wrong. When he showed up for the emergency call the day before all he did was complain to me that I was interrupting his dear time and they were up on the roof and they put cigarette butts out on my roof. I went up on the roof after they left, there were like six cigarette butts stumped out up there.

Super job by Byron from Case Plumbing! He stopped by after hours to check my water heater and verify the problem I was having. My hot water stopped running and while I haggled with the manufacturer over the warranty covering the replacement, he was extremely helpful, professional, and prompt. When I got the new one, he expertly un-installed the old one and put the new one in. He was careful with the dealing with the electricity, water shut-off, and gave me expert advice and answered all my questions. I only had to pay the total labor cost, which was very reasonable for South a Tampa prices, while Rheem credited me after I took the old one to Home Depot. Case Plumbing was very accommodating to help me out and get my hot water working again! I would recommend them to anyone!

It was great! They got out there fast. It was after hours and they were quick to respond and took care of it expeditiously!

We are completely satisfied. They took care to make a complicated installation as simple as possible, minimizing the damage done to the house in installing a new gas line from the meter outside for our gas dryer and gas range.

Case Plumbing was phenomenal. There's two of them from Case Plumbing who came out. I had no problem since. They were there for about an hour and a half just for doing everything. I would use them again in the future.

Mark was fantastic to work with, was extremely professional and helpful in figuring out the configuration for my new tankless water heater. The install was high quality and has worked as advertised.

He was great. He is very professional and quiet but he takes the time to explain to me what he is doing and why. He tells you everything he is doing every step of the way.

As usual our plumber showed up within a day of our call, found the very slow leak behind our bathroom sink in the pex plumbing and fixed it, and advised us in managing the water damage.

Overall it went well. The work was well done and problems which arose were taken care of promptly. My only (slight) complaint was re: the new toilet in the second bath; they provided a cheaper model than what I had envisioned, but then I had not been very specific on what I wanted. And they allowed me to upgrade to a more expensive model which I preferred. All in all I would recommend them.

On a Saturday evening, we heard running water and suspected a plumbing leak. We called our regular plumber and a back-up plumber, neither of whom had anyone on duty. We were referred to Case and they one of their plumbers, Victor, at our house within the hour. He was able to determine that the leak was in a hot water pipe and shut off the hot water so that we did not sustain any property damage. He then called in a leak detector who identified the precise location of the leak. As luck would have it, the leak was in underneath the slab below a built in cabinet, with a marble top. Case arranged for a stone company to remove the top (with no damage!), removed the cabinet, drilled through the slab, found and fixed the leak and replaced the cabinet. They were responsive, professional, and provided an excellent service. It wasn't cheap, but it was a huge job and everything is back in place as good as new. I think we just found our new plumber!

Professional. I was happy things weren't as clogged as I thought they were. Would recommend. This was (fortunately) not a major plumbing call.
