Awesome. Courteous. Professional. Kind. Honest. Caring. Prompt. Amazing. Responsive. Ethical. Sincere. Honorable. Trustworthy. All these are words that describe Carol Elkins. She is a blessing to my super senior mom and me (her out-of-town daughter). The story begins when I realized that my wonderful mom needed help in cleaning her house. So, I went in search of a professional that we could trust and would care about doing a great job. We wanted and needed a true professional. After no success asking neighbors and friends for referrals, I turned to my most trusted resource - Angie's List. This is where I discovered Carol and hoped she had an opening in her schedule to help my mom. Carol was wonderful and helped me to find the perfect time for my mom's cleaning. After the first cleaning, my mom, who had never indulge herself to have outside household help, was simply brought to tears over how clean her home was after Carol had worked her magic. Mom realized that she just couldn't clean like a professional. Mom was impressed by Carol's attention to detail, wonderful personality and conscientious approach to her job as well as her client. For days following the first cleaning session, my mom could not stop talking about how proud she was of her home and how thankful she was to have Carol. She couldn't wait for her to return. And return, she did - on time and as pleasant and thorough as before. I honestly feel we are blessed to have found Carol. I only want what in the best for my loving mom. It is now my job to help her anyway I can and I am pleased to repay all the love, support and kindness my mom has shown me all my life. But, due to circumstances beyond my control, I must rely on others to help me, help her. Now that fate with the aid of Angie's List has brought Carol into our lives, I can rest easier knowing my mom will have one less chore to do and that her surroundings will be clean and tidy. Thank you Carol for being better than I could have ever hoped for. Thank you for being the rare gem in today's world where customer service and taking pride in a job well done have become catch phrases versus words to live by. Carol cleans my house every week. It is so nice to have someone I can trust and speak with personally. She is very accommodating with our changing schedule.

Carol does an excellent job at a very reasonable price. Once she has seen your house, she is very efficient in the way she goes about business. I highly recommend Carol to anyone needing a thorough housekeeper who is honest, hard working and reasonable ... oh, she can be pretty funny as well!

Carol has been cleaning my house every other week for a few months. I know she cleans, because I check. If there is something different or extra I want I just ask and it's done. I'm very happy with Carol.

I really can't tell you how it went as far as the cleaning. We don't know because she accepted the job and then called and said her back hurt and suggested us finding other help since she said she really couldn't commit. Why be on Angie's List if you aren't serious about work? It starts with a professional attitude in a business and this person did not have that.

Meeting went well. She is to get back to me with price details; however I have decided that I do not need a cleaning service at this time.

Carol is kind, hardworking and thorough. We have her clean our home every two weeks. She is very good with our two dogs and offers to let them out and makes sure they are safe. She is very trustworthy. I have used other services that bring a team in and clean in 45 minutes and leave things in disarray. Carol treats your home like it is her own. Carol, was simple great. She is extremely responsive and thorough. She also went above and beyond in trying to help me out with providing third party vendors to help with maintenance issues. I would highly recommend her services.

She called and left a message at 8 pm she did not quote a price nor did she schedule a time. She just said she would call me the next day. I have not heard from her since.

The following day, at about 4pm, I called to ask what time she would be arriving. She had no idea where I lived so I gave her my address AGAIN and directions. She arrived and we chatted for quite awhile. Once again she was very personable. I liked her. She left with the understanding that she would consult her calendar and let me know when she could come to clean and the cost; about 3hrs was her estimate of time. I waited about 5 days and heard nothing from her. Six days later, I called again. She said she was on the phone with an emergency call and would contact me as soon as she could. I am still waiting. Although I liked Carol as a person, I must say she acted very unprofessionally and would not consider calling her in the future or recommending her to anyone else. I would have appreciated a phone call, advising me one way or the other about the work to be done.

Fantastic! After my initial contact she returned phone call promptly and was able to see me within a few days. She came and gave me an estimate. I was so pleased with the price that she started working for me on a bi-montly basis. Carol is kind and genuine and trustworthy. She works hard and is fast. I love that she brings all of her own supplies and picks up all of her trash when she leaves.

Carol did a FANTASTIC job with EVERYTHING...from returning phone calls to meeting for our assessment to cleaning the place...she is GREAT. Love the flexibility she offers, like if we want to use our own cleaners because we like the smell she's fine with that...It's a little thing, I know...but THOSE ADD UP! Carol left our home ultra clean and smelling great. I'd recommend her WITHOUT HESITATION to anyone!

Carol did an outstanding job cleaning my home!! She was such a nice, outgoing person that I felt very comfortable with her from the start. She was a pleasure to work with and I will use her routinely now!! :) I would highly recommend her for others!!

Carol has been cleaning my house for over a year. She meets my schedule which I vary each month. Whenever I ask for attention to certain areas she is graciously complies.

Carol missed a lot of areas in cleaning our house. It appeared as though she didn't spend enough time in our home. Rather than say anything, we just use another cleaner. As a consumer it's not my job to teach others how to to their jobs.

Carol always arrives when she says she will and does a great job. She's been flexible with my changing schedule, and she was nice about it the one time I forgot to leave a check. She came over the first time with me there and we talked about what products to use where and such. When I went a month between cleanings, she wanted $10 extra for the extra work, which seems fair - with pets especially, the dirt builds up too much to go a month. This has been a great timesaver for me since I am working two full-time jobs at the moment and don't want to spend my limited free time cleaning. It's lovely walking in at the end of a long day to sparkling countertops and a "neat" look. Nothing has been missing or broken in the 3 months or so she has been coming. She doesn't move piles of things, make beds, or "straighten up", though, which some friends' cleaning services do, but I'm fine with that. Not sure if that is a service she offers or not, but I'd rather take care of my own clutter, so this is fine for me.

She cleaned our 3000 sq feet of our house in preparation for showing to potential renters. We already had all the furniture moved out, kitchen/cupboards emptied. She cleaned every drawer, all 3 full bathrooms, all 5 bedrooms, swept the 3 car garage and pool deck, vacuumed every carpeted area, all base boards/window seals, kitchen, office, formal dining area and living room. She did wonderfully. I have always been pleased with Carol's work and highly recommend her! Thank you, Carol. You made my life so much....cleaner!

Carol is punctual and competent, I have been pleased with her attention to my home. Additionally, she has been flexible with necessary schedule changes, and also communicative when she needed to change our schedule.

Carol's work is excellent! She is very thorough and conscientious of breakable items. She was able to clean difficult areas in the shower that other individuals could not clean effectively. She is not a "surface cleaner" and makes sure all areas are done right before she leaves.The house smells clean and fresh when she is done. She is friendly and very personable. Her prices are extremely reasonable for the work she performs. She is flexible and accommodating. We are very pleased with her work!
