Caldeco Air Conditioning & Heating

It was wonderful. Fabian did a great job and updated me on the condition of both of my systems. He found that one of my bulbs needed replacing and gave me the option to replace or not to replace. With Caldeco there is never any pressure to buy anything and I so appreciate that! They have been wonderful and I will continue to use them.

Came out first thing in morning and quickly diagnosed and repaired issue.

Caldeco is one of the most conscientious companies that I have ever engaged. They are a company of integrity and exemplary service. If you want the cheapest, don't call Caldeco. If you want Exemplary Service call Caldeco. It's obvious that this company focuses on outstanding customer service. If you're looking for superior A/C service, you found it!

Horrible! I was told my a/c was running great. And that it must have been Serviced recently because the coils look perfect. He didn’t even open the handler to look at the coils that are discussing by the way there are also ducts that need to be repair and a leaking pipe. They are a waist of money!

While I was delighted with our technician, Kendry Lorenzo, I was very disappointed with Caldeco and the Service Manager's lack of response. If it weren't for the great technician I would have selected lower ratings. We scheduled and received a routine maintenance. During the course of the maintenance the technician noted that there was a weak capacitor. The capacitor was under warranty so there was no charge for the part, but the company wanted an additional $68 for him to replace it, even though we were already paying for a service call and the panel was off with the capacitor exposed for testing. I could understand if replacing the part was going to take extra time, but it would have been less than 10 minutes. We contacted the office while he was here and were told the service manager would call back but he never did. So we declined the part. Would rather pay someone else to come out and replace it. The impression I have and will share, after buying a very expensive unit from Caldeco is that Caldeco is just looking to rip people off with the added labor when they are already on site for their routine maintenance. The technician was very professional, nice and polite - he was great. But Caldeco's service pricing is unfair - be careful!

I cannot say enough good things about Caldeco, the Project Manager Ryan, and the crew. From beginning to end, they were absolutely phenomenal. Ryan came up with a plan for the job, and his technicians executed it seamlessly. We could have spent less, but with air conditioning systems, it is just as important to have quality installation as to purchase good units. The work was clean and professional, and we were really impressed with how Ryan was able to coordinate a complicated job. We needed new ductwork to replace the old, uninsulated ductwork, and we needed new feeder lines for a room addition. Ryan also helped us understand problems with our airflow, and made useful suggestions for adding and eliminating ductwork. The air seems so much cleaner, and the house stays fresh day and night. They also moved one of the exterior units for us to a different location. They took care of all of the warranty information, and the TECO discount for us. We would hire them again in a heartbeat (but are hoping we won't need to for many years)!

Great experience! they arrived on time and were done by 4:30pm. Very thorough and professional, cleaned up as they worked, and left garage spotless. They did a wonderful job with the installation; it looks great and works fantastic! I wish I had replaced my AC sooner, but past AC repairs had left me wary. But this company is great, I am completely satisfied, and would highly recommend! Everything was as promised, no surprises.

He was very professional and very nice. We are looking forward to hearing back from him on the estimates.

Josh performed very professionally - understanding that we have an older system which will be replaced within the year. He was very clear regarding the cost effectiveness of additional work prior to the upcoming upgrade. We are very happy with this new relationship.

They are family people we know, good people and have a lot of contracts in the area. It was a good price.

Jack did a super job fixing my AC. He came out the same day and had the parts that he needed on the van. Jack is a very professional technician. In fact, he educated me on the workings of the HVAC system and what to keep an eye on. I have had these capacitors go out in the past and know roughly what they cost to have installed: the Caldeco pricing is competitive. Although Jack identified the capacitor as the source of my problem right away, he still spent time testing the rest of my system to make sure we would be in good shape. The only item I would suggest needs improvement, is communication from the dispatchers of when the technician will be on site. I understand estimating how long jobs will take is difficult. Extra communication / updates would have helped me structure my day better while I waited.

Alex, a technician for Caldeco arrived on time and went right to work checking out and tuning up our air conditioning unit. We started having tuneups done once a year to try and keep our older unit running for as long as possible. All went well, Alex was very professional and spent a lot of time servicing the unit and as far as I can tell did an excellent job. Hopefully it will hold out for another year when we have them return for the next annual tuneup.

Excellent! Very nice, polite, and informative service man. Showed me everything he was doing, and why; explained how to keep drain lines clear; my AC system is 14 years old, and I knew that a new system was coming soon. Because of the great response and service of this company, I had him set up an appointment with sales and estimate . He never needed to come directly into my home, was exceptionally neat and clean. Very satisfied and would definitely recommend this company. Great job, very professional. The cost for this service will go towards my new AC also!!

Technician was friendly and professional. He diagnosed the problem, explained all of my options and costs, and repaired the unit on his first visit.

They come out 2 or 3 times a year. It is a maintenance plan and it is expensive because of the unit it is and we have 4 of them. It is about $100 a unit. They are very good. They follow through. There are a couple of areas they could use some help with. The quality of the work they do is good, I would say that is an A. They are very very professional. Since I have experience with them and they put in the A/C units. They are very knowledgeable. They know exactly what needs to be done, and they are very up front about everything.

The actual time it took them to put them in was a couple weeks. They did a good job. I would use them again in the future.

Very well...contracts allow for check-ups and service-cleaning of units q 6 months and we have always had them. They are important on such occasions as sudden break downs. With use of the same company the record of the A/C history is available for all service calls. Calcedo had in their computer that the part replaced was still under warranty, which we had forgotten.

We always use Caldeco. I buy their maintenance, so it was a cost-free service. We've used them for 15 years. They're clean, they're on time, they'll bend over backwards to help you. They are so thorough. It was about 1-1/2 to 2 hours. The worker that came was wonderful; he was great. They give you some ideas about what to anticipate on keeping your air conditioner running longer and things that you can do. They cleaned up completely. They swept my floor where they had their tools. I always will use them in the future.

It went well. We need new air conditioning

We are in the process of selling our home and there was an unresolved permit found from 2003 (!!!) before I bought the house when the previous owner had a new AC system installed by Caldeco. Due to the fault of the previous owner (not Caldeco), the city was unable to access the unit to inspect and therefore failed the inspection three times back in 2003/2004. When we found out about the permit, we called Caldeco to explain and ask them to help us have it reopened, fix any problems, and close it out. Despite this issue being over a decade old, they sent their staff out promptly to inspect the unit and ensure everything was to code so that we could have the city come and reinspect to close the permit. Thank you Caldeco for being so professional and helpful, and assisting us in getting this issue resolved so quickly!

Arrived promptly and was courteous and clean.

THe techs exceeded my expectations and went beyond the call of duty.

They were right on time. It was more of an off-putting attitude, but I don't really want to speak to that. Essentially, they talked very nicely to my husband and then to me they were sort of dismissive. I was sort of insulted by that. I would use them again for something minor, but if I had to do something major, I probably would not.
